The Little Havana Party Hostel

- I paid for a ticket for a pubcrawl, expecting to use it on Monday. When Monday, my last night in Krakow, came, nobody showed up to the pubcrawl, so they ended up canceling it. When I asked immediately after for any sort of remedy, not only did they not give me a refund or even an apology, they openly admitted to not caring if I got scammed, only pointing to some policy about not refunding tickets under any circumstances. For me, if you sell a ticket for something that you then cancel, anything short of a refund is a scam. The facilities were also a little disappointing. There is a distinct smell of cigarettes everywhere you walk, and there was a brown stain on my pillowcase. Other than this incident, I did meet some nice fellow travelers and the other staff were nice, but I would recommend that you avoid this place, or at the very least buying a pub crawl ticket, in fear of nobody else showing up.

I letti erano sporchi e per niente curati. Sotto l’ostello c’è una discoteca, quindi è impossibile dormire. La cosa peggiore è che quando esci e poi vuoi rientrare, i bodyguard ti fermano, ti trattano male e sembrano non riconoscerti nemmeno come ospite dell’ostello. Il giorno dopo ho parlato con la reception, ma non gliene fregava niente: pensano solo ai soldi, zero professionalità e zero rispetto per i clienti. Inoltre bisogna stare molto attenti: l’ambiente non è sicuro e si rischia di avere problemi con la gente che frequenta questo posto. Sconsiglio totalmente questo ostello. Non vale i soldi spesi.

- Terrible experience – absolutely avoid Terrible experience at The Little Havana Party Hostel in Krakow. Bathrooms and rooms were extremely dirty, with a complete lack of hygiene. The beds were dirty and poorly maintained. There is a nightclub underneath the hostel, so it’s impossible to sleep. The worst part is that when you go out and try to come back in, security guards stop you, treat you badly, and don’t even seem to recognize you as a guest of the hostel. The next day I spoke with the reception, but they didn’t care at all: they only think about money, with zero professionalism and zero respect for guests. You also need to be very careful: the environment feels unsafe, and you can easily have problems with the people who hang around this place. I totally do not recommend this hostel. Not worth the money at all.

- The reception staff are really rude and unfriendly. This is not a party hostel at all. Comments are not correct. There are lots of single men who are coming to Krakow for just picking up girls and It is so annoying.

- Des punaises de lit. 2 douches pour 24 personnes. Pendant le petit déjeuner, j'ai constaté qu'il n'y avait plus de café, il y avait deux réceptionnistes. Le réceptionniste à qui j'ai demandé de refaire du café m'a dit que je pouvais en refaire moi-même. Je lui ai dit que je ne savais pas utiliser la machine. Il m'a répondu qu'il fallait mettre de l'eau et du café.

- I usually dont like to give bad reviews but I stayed there on 25th of jan and there was bed bugs on the bed that I found about later and it was so bad...I think this could happen, but not if u usually keep good hygiene level, I wouldn't expect that this is the usual but if it happens then you would get a bad review.

- C'est pas une auberge de jeunesse c'est un bar avec Happy Hour non stop! Réveillé toute la nuit par des gens plus qu'alcoolisé.. Un de mes colocataires de dortoir m'a littéralement agréssé pensant que je voulais lui voler son portable alors que j'étais en train de dormir jusqu'à son arrivée. 2 heures plus tard (4h du matin heure locale..) il est rentré pour se coucher et a vomi un peu partout dans le dortoir. Je me suis donc levé et j'ai quitté le dortoir et l'hotel. J'en ai informé l'employé qui était à l'accueil à cette heure-là un peu alcoolisé lui aussi avec quelques survivants de la soirée, mais ca ne lui a fait ni chaud ni froid.Il m'a juste dit qu'il en parlerait à la personne du dortoir et c'est tout. A cette heure le sol de la cuisine-pièce de vie-bar ainsi que les toilettes ressemblaient au sol d'une boite de nuit. Aucun remboursement/dédommagement c'est une honte de la part de l'hotel et de booking de proposer ce genre de service. Je voyage pourtant depuis 23 ans et suis adepte de ce genre de logement.

- 35°C = Air conditioning. Fans are useless. Better bed cleaning. They don't change sheets. Room cleaning 1 in 3 days. Entrance is through a bar.

+ Good location “very close to city center”

- - Tough staff - Same building above night club where it is noisy all night even till 4AM - Reception asked us to sign a paper of instructions where it is not normal - The place is not safe where body guards are always asking at the entrance “during the night working of the club” - No soap in shower room - Bad smell in room and we had to keep windows opened for ventilation “cold weather”
