We stayed in a individual double room and we got bites from bed bugs. Very cheap hostel but if I knew I would have invested a couple of quid more and go somewhere else

This accommodation is also listed on a bedbug incident map. I have reported this to the relevant authorities and am considering legal action.

Really bad experience since we unfortunately found out too late that there were bed bugs in our room. The hostel did not reply too our message after reporting this incident to them.

BEDBUGS - May 2023 - INFESTED Stayed here in May. Dropped bags in and went to see the sights. Room wasn’t great and had a musty smell. After getting back that evening and showering etc, looked in the bed to see bed bugs all over my pillow and sheets. Immediately woke my friends and we went to reception - no one was there and no staff on site, and we weren’t going to stay somewhere clearly riddled with bedbugs. Forced to leave the keys off at 11pm and seek alternative accommodation. I emailed the hostel about the problem and sent them numerous messages on instagram asking for a refund and to cover the cost of washing and drying all our clothes, but a week later and still no response from them. Disgraceful and will never be back - and certainly wouldn’t recommend anyone else stays here.
