Unfortunately I didn’t get to stay in the hostel not even for a night. I checked in everything was fine until I got home at night and all the girls in my room were packing up their things because they found bed bugs and I had searched through my bed and found bed bugs. They gave me a full refund the next day but they didn’t put me in another room or suggest where I could go. They were kind enough to give me a full refund but not to help me get a new room.

I stayed for two nights here (my 4-5 time in this Hostel) and sadly I have to say that the femaleDorm has a problem with bedbugs (!!) I already had this Problem November 2025 and again in February. Also this time I came straight from home, so no chance I got them anywhere else. Had around 50 bites all over my body. When I told the reception they refunded me for night night, without asking I guess the problem won’t be solved with changing the bedsheets but by deep cleaning/disinfecting the dorm

Onhygiënisch. Kakkerlakken en ik had bed bugs in mijn bed. Verplaatst naar een andere kamer maar op geen enkele manier excuus gemaakt en het wordt weggewuifd. Als je wilt feesten een gezellig plek. Erg harde bedden.

BED BUGS! I stayed here for 5 nights and got over 100 bug bites on my arm on the 4th night. I showed the housekeeper and staff quickly changed my sheets ONLYand offered me a different room to stay in. Staff then proceeded to claim that my stuff was contaminated and I had to keep my things in the lobby. When I asked for a refund if I switched hostels they said no. I would stay somewhere more central than near Khao San next time!

This was a good social hostel but on my first night I found bed bugs. Luckily I got to switch rooms and the new room was fine. Location is good, the hostel is huge.

I kept waking up with loads of different bites all over me, so I think there were bed bugs.

Was pleasantly surprised after reading some not great reviews. No bed bugs for us. It attracts a very young crowd. In the mornings the toilet shower rooms are full of very hungover people and I saw some pretty grim things. Bar crawl and the surrounding area for nights out are great if you want fun verging on a bit of grossness. Bar was well stocked and fun. Pool had seen better days. The dorms were brilliant with huge lockers, lots of plugs, good beds. People respectful and quiet in rooms

La falta de limpieza en zonas comunes. La habitación con baño privado no tenía ventana, y un olor a humedad increíble. Nos picaron chinches en varias partes del cuerpo. Que el check-in sea a las 15:00 es muy negativo para la llegada a Bangkok.

Stayed there with my sister and we both got bitten by bed bugs. Tried emailing the hostel but they were incredibly unhelpful, and did not care at all. I know friends who stayed there at a similar time and they were also bitten. Wouldn't recommend if you care about cleanliness

okay im gonna be completely honest. im not a picky person at all and am comfortable pretty easily, which i was in this hostel, but there were a few things i can’t seem to see anyone else talk about in the comments. first of all the rooms kinda looked like a prison, but they were very clean and had a lot of space, yet the lockers were pretty far away from some of the beds which when there was actually a lot of space in front of the beds at the end of the room to put them in front of. idk about other rooms but there was barely any sunlight coming in mine so it was just a rly dark atmosphere overal. really good airconditioning tho. stayed for 4 days and only saw the cleaner twice, first & last day and i was awake and in bed every morning. the bathroom door connected to our room on the first floor wouldn’t close so that was kinda annoying. the hostel didn’t really organize events and the ones that were happening kinda flopped, they weren’t advertising it really and i think if they did it could be really fun. the common area was a very easy place to meet people and you could really enjoy yourself at the pool and bar. so did the 70+ man that was there during my stay. really not a bad experience, i slept wonderful, but definitely not my favorite visit thanks to the bed bugs.

Staff were really helpful and allowed us to use their personal phones to help us sort an issue with our baggage. The only issue is that there were bed bugs in our beds. Other than that, a decent place to start our trip with a good location and great staff.
