Sacred Lotus - Vegan - Café x Hostel

BED BUGS!! Staff is friendly and the hostel looks nice but I left as soon as I saw the bugs. Since the hostel has several reviews about bedbugs they don’t seem to do anything about it.

There were bedbugs everything was dirty and the hostel was empty not nice. The staff was kind tho

Disgusting hostel!!!! Sheets where dirty, room was smelly. Really awfully uncomfortable beds. I really hate having to say this, but hope other travellers don’t have an awful experience like I did: don’t stay here.

I like the art 🎨 and staffs where very friendly, vegan food where lovely. however the cafe is clean but the upstairs where dirty. bedding is old, room door without handle. the rooms smells and rooftops could be a lovely area to relax but its dirty. my experience was just coping because i was booked in but i didn't like my experience there after been travelling throughout Vietnam. i felt dirty staying there. maintaining were poor. cleanliness were poor,only the cafe were good and friendly staf...

NOT RECOMMENDED!When we first saw the private room we thought they gave us a different one then we reserved. It was the same room but we did not reconise it because of the conditions. All pictures are from when it was brand new but it has not been maintained since. They also PHOTOSHOP plants on the pictures (zoom in and look closely, no shade ,etc.) They also make it seem like a well lit room wich it absolutely isn't (felt like a bunker). Das war mit Abstand der schlimmste Hostel Aufenthalt den ich je hatte. Das Café sieht nicht schlecht aus. Das Personal ist absolut unfreundlich, ich kam relativ spät an da haben sie nur gelacht und gemeint sie haben kein Essen mehr. In meinem Bett waren lockige Haare von irgendeiner Person davor und es hat nach Füßen gerochen. Außerdem war das Hostel Zimmer einfach am Ende des Flurs ohne Tür.

Unfortunately the hygiene was severely lacking. I noticed my sheets had a funky smell to them but also during the day they turn the air conditioning off from 8am to 8pm and leave the balcony door open, which would be fine but the mosquitoes are so bad at night you get earring alive. I ended up leaving early

Wir hatten Bettwanzen im Privatzimmer,eine andere Backpackerin im Schlafsaal. Ich habe das Team versucht zu informieren, die allerdings immer noch meine Mail ignorieren.

Location was OK, next to the market. Location is Location and that's no one's fault or intention. It's just geography. Boring hostel & restaurant with no life in it whatsoever. Food only average & way over priced. Service & and staff were disappointing. Zero enthusiasm. Different experience then all my time in beautiful, friendly ,exciting and wonderful cambodia. Just cause it is a vegan place guys, doesn't mean it can't be fun. Peace&;thank you anyway.

Great place for a short stay. The rooftop has a lot of great places to hang out and the food in the cafe is amazing. Stayed in a private room and everything was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was slightly run down compared to the rest of the room (although still clean and functional) which brought my rating down slightly. However the cafe and all the other pros far outweigh the cons and I would definitely stay here again!

only good things to say about this hostel, it’s such a beautiful place to be. the food is delicious, the staff are incredible, the whole vibe and atmosphere is great. i stayed in a private for two nights then extended to the dorm for a few more days, both were perfectly clean, comfortable and has everything you need. also the rooftop is obviously gorgeous and the best place to hang out and talk to people

We only stayed one night, but the hostel was charming. The staff were very welcoming. The restaurant was also excellent. Very good value for money. We highly recommend it!

The dorms are nothing like the picture; everything felt dirty and of poor quality. There's a really bad smell at the dorms, and the location is not great either. However, the staff, the cafe, and the rooftop are amazing.

It was a good stay. In that time not too social apparently but the rooftop and the vegan Café is amazing! So for two nights I can recommend also because it’s located in a really nice area with loads of other cafes and shops :)

Photos don’t reflect the dorms. The place was nice to stay at (no bed bugs when we were there) however some rooms are a little run down looking. For the price of the hostel this can be overlooked as you get what you pay for. The cafe is great, delicious food, lovely staff and rooftop so chill.

It's a fine place. The lockers are better suited for a gym. They are barely big enough to fit a purse, much less a backpack or suitcase. They had bed bugs the one night I stayed there. The staff was kind. The location is not on google or grabmaps, so if you arrive late, you have to look for the logo on the gate. It's a fine spot, but between the lack of security and the bed bugs, I chose not to stay for the duration of my booking.

We had a super cute little private room upstairs, eveything was clean and lovely. Make sure you make the most of the cafe downstairs, they make such good food I’d really recommend it

Bien situé à côté du Russian market. Un grab pour de rendre au Palais Royal coûte 7500 riels. On dort bien et les lits sont confortables. Le personnel est sympathique. J'émets juste un bémol sur le ménage. Il faut nettoyer soit même les douches si on veut les utiliser. certains coussins du rooftop ont une forte odeur d'urine. Une petite lessive s'impose!

Cafe/restaurant was really nice, lots of vegan options. Staff were good, and the outside space was okay. The boxed in beds felt very stuffy like you were trapped in the heat and the bathroom was a little grimy.

Okay hostel for the price but it was absolutely dead! AC switched off at 8am, and no fan near the bed so it feels a bit like a coffin. No windows in the dorms either. Cafe was good but expensive!

I had a lovely stay in this hostel. The privat room, was cozy and clean, staff very friendly and the food delicious! Defendly recommended to stay here. Thank you!

come ragazza che viaggia sola mi sono sentita sicura. il posto carino e in una buona posizione. pulizia nella norma. il rooftop meraviglioso. il bar vegano al piano terra ha buon cibo.

Staff were all lovely, really nice choice of vegan foods, private rooms were great with facilities as advertised, location was good! Couldn’t ask for much more, thanks guys !!

We only stayed two nights and it was fine! The beds were quite comfortable and the staff was nice. Also the rooftop is a nice place to hang out or chill. Only downside is that the bathrooms were very very hot but overall good hostel!
