- J'ai pas apprécié l'accueil, et j'avais l'impression d'être là juste pour payer, il ont essayé de jouer avec mes émotions, lamentable .. Je crois que certains Hébergement d'accueil n'ont pas compris qu'on vient pour passer un bon séjour et pas que payé !! . L'impression d'être surveiller puis en cuisine je me sentais envahis , chaque geste que je fais étais imiter , energie démoniaque.. bref j'étais contente que le séjour c'est terminé je reviens jamais dans cet établissement déconseillé.. mais merci ça me rappel combien j'ai beaucoup plus de valeur que c'est personne la 😇

- I was told to go last floor with 5 years old with Obesity. No lift she go through all the steps which is very bad and I complain about this to the receptionist but nothing was done about it on our way check out coming to downstairs she fall down on the stairs case. 5 years old should not have place on the last floor it very risky. when I was booking I put her ahead of down on the form.

- Too hot in the room, it must’ve been about 30°+ in there. Someone took my bed which meant I had to sleep without any covers on the top bunk. It was one of the worst stays and sleeps I’ve ever had

+ I booked this place for 5 nights and stayed in a 6-bed room. There was no ventilation in the room at all, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Every day, new guests were entering the room and leaving early in the morning. Even at night, around 2–3 AM, new people were being checked into the same room. In my opinion, the reception should pay more attention to this. They could easily place guests who stay long-term (5, 7, 10 days) in the same room instead of mixing them with people who stay only for one night. Nobody seemed to care whether long-term guests would be disturbed during the night or not. Overall, I was not satisfied with the management and the lack of proper organization.

El primer robo fue de 40 libras que dejé 1 segundo la cartera para ir al baño dentro de la habitación y cuando regresé ya no estaban. Pero el segundo es el peor ya que me robaron dentro del locker de la habitación para nuestra seguridad, el locker se abría solo sin necesidad de pasar la llave para abrir el candado. Ya dije lo peor es la atención que se te rían en la cara, como puede existir gente así en el mundo, con poca empatía hacia el otro. Este hostel es el peor del mundo. Obviamente puse la denuncia en la policía, no quiero que esto quede así de impune.

+ The place was super easy to find from the station. There’s a supermarket nearby, so it’s easy to get food.
- At night, the light in the room is off, so I wasn’t able to see anything. Even climbing up the ladder makes a loud noise. I felt too much stress during the night.

It was okay for a night. 3 bed bunk was very tight. Difficult to get in and out. Not enough room to sit up in bed. Bathroom was tiny as well. You get sheets to make your own bed.
Tried the four beds in suite bedrooms, was amazing. Clean bathroom. The sheets smell fresh ! Tried the 6 people bedrooms with collective bathrooms outside of the room, it would get dirty fast even though i could tell the cleaning was probably done twice a day. Sheets still smelled fresh in the bigger dortoir ;)
Great hostel, lots of plugs, unbeatable location, clever well motivated staff.
Decent for the price point, but there are better. Positive: - The location. Right next to Russel Square tube stop and most things are within an hours walking distance - Relatively cheap - The kitchen is open 24/7 (be mindful though, as night time is quiet hours) Negative: - Hard to navigate. It's a maze of identical corridors in there - The toilets. Most stink of urine and aren't clean - The rooms are warm - the smaller rooms are slightly less so but still uncomfortable

La ubicación del hostel es muy buena. En cuanto a las habitaciones, el baño y la ducha son muy chicas, las camas son chicas (1.80 maximo). El ambien del hostel lindo
The location of the hostel is very good. as for the rooms, bathroom and shower are very chicks, the beds are chicks (1.80 max). the ambience of the hostel is cute
Die Lage war für einen kurzen Aufenthalt wirklich super, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Allerdings war es während meines Aufenthalts extrem laut, sowohl morgens als auch abends, was sich sehr negativ auf den Schlaf ausgewirkt hat. Auch die Betten (3-stöckig) sind so wackelig, dass man von jeder Bewegung der anderen wachgerüttelt wird. Für 3 Tage für den Preis auszuhalten, aber ich würde eher nicht wiederkommen.
The location was really great for a short stay, the staff was very helpful. however, it was extremely loud during my stay, both in the morning and in the evening, which had a very negative effect on sleep. even the beds (3-storey) are so shaky that you are awakened by every movement of the others. for 3 days to endure for the price, but I would rather not come back.
Quiet and close to the centre. The establishment is pretty clean in general, simple but cozy breakfast area, woth armchairs and books, nice to have the shower inside the dormitory.
There was no hot water in the shower. Staff didn't seem surprised or interested that this was the case
The breakfast offer was very poor and not to the standards we expected. We would have liked warm eggs (fried, scrambled, etc), fresh fruit and a bread grill to do your warm toasts. It was dissappointing to have to find somewhere else to have breakfast in the morning.
Worst hostel ever.
This is the worst hostel ever.
9 bed female dorm was terrible, there was no room between the beds and one couldn't even sit on the bed (because the one above was so low). the common areas were cold. Hot water in the showers only stayed for a few seconds then it was cold. I will say though, the toilets are very very clean.
triple bunks are never that great but for the price overall the hostel was very nice and fairly clean
Very small cramped rooms, be expected to have no room for luggage and your personal stuff especially when u have one tiny locker. Very close together with bedding you can hear and see everything even though you have curtains. Shower was so tiny with no where to put clothes to get changed with and toilet was okay. overall not great.
Dear Team at Smart Russell Square, I wanted to reach out and say thank you for another lovely stay. This was my second time visiting, and it truly felt like coming back to a familiar, comfortable home. Thank you for making my time in London so pleasant. See you again soon! Nila⁰
It was my first time staying at this place. The location is pretty good and overall experience was good as well. I had the highest bed so it got a bit hot during the night. Showers were pretty clean and enjoyable. The staff was also really nice. I will be back!
Everything was clean and the staff was great, even if I had to put my own sheets on the bed on the third bunk. I learned my lesson about big dorms, I think I would have enjoyed it more if I’d been in a smaller dorm. The bathroom was clean, but the water pressure and temp were inconsistent. Overall, it was good for one night, and it taught me a lesson about bigger dorms, particularly when I’m staying somewhere as a stopover.
