the function was awful! Everything was half-broken and very dirty. The enviroment was unsafe and the staff (just one receptionist for some hours) had no will to help. All i remember is mold and dirty bathrooms. Do not recommend, especially for young women travelers!!

Avoid this hostel if you’re visiting the UK. Pay extra and book somewhere better. The receptionist couldn’t care less, no welcome at all. The room was worse: a terrible bed and a pillow so thin it felt like a prison issue. The toilet setup was strange, with the wash sink in the room. The lockers under the bed were very noisy and will wake you. While the area might seem convenient, do not book on Camden High Street, it’s noisy, overcrowded, and simply not worth it.

rude unwelcoming staff. no Information on the amenities. no smiles. no friendly atmosphere. just cold and rude employees who make you feel like you are a burden. worst place I have ever stayed. never would I recommend this dump. the lounge was cold dark. no plates. no cups. no paper towels. I mean you would have to buy everything to even heat up a frozen meal. the beer was £7.00 and no discounts for guests. they charge you for the use of adapters. no hair dryers abhorrent. go elsewhere

Dirtiest hostel I’ve ever been in. 3 roaches found in room. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned 1 time in 5 days. Wet toilet paper all over the floor, bugs, water only came out at basically boiling temp. Outlets didn’t work. Rented towels and we watched staff flick dirt off them before handing them over. Shower curtain was covered in black mold. This place is seriously a health hazard. I love hostels and am not a harsh critic, but this was by far the worst I’ve been in. Do not stay here!!!

TOo many old people that snore , dirty everywhere and staff rude

It was horrible, the worst experience I've ever had. When I got to my room, there was a drunk, drugged, and distraught man who threw up on my bed. When I asked to change rooms, they told me there was nothing they could do, and with great difficulty, they changed me to another bed. The man was drunk and took off his clothes in front of my wife, who was scared. Even so, they didn't do anything. I had to leave the hostel because it wasn't safe there. They didn't give me my daily money back.

Had my ID stolen by a hostel staff member, “cut in half and thrown away” (obviously stolen). Yeah I don’t recommend this place

Very lovely staff I had made a minor error with the booking but the kind lady at the desk sorted it all out for me. Bed was comfy and clean but minor concerns with the bedding being a tad messy when entering the room but no stains probably another person that’s staying accidentally moved to the wrong bed before hand. Shower pressure was good and toilet facilities felt looked after. Overall the staff were the highlight of our stay.

Excellent location, felt safe, nice to find breakfast. Comfy bed. Good shower. Bonus bar downstairs.

Overall it was swell. I liked that it was decent price with breakfast included. The bathroom and showers were very tight for me and not much space but the staff are very sweet and warm. I would recommend for a short stay and I would come back!

One of the worst hostels i've been to. You can't complain much though considering the low price. - Broken toilets & power outlets, only two toilets for the whole hostel are not enough - matresses super old and laid through - disgusting smell (may have been another guest) and bad ventilation in the room - very loud music and no way to turn of all the lights during night time -... only come if you don't plan on spending to much time here and are not a light sleeper;) location really go...

This place has a lot of potential and the staff are friendly, the free breakfast is good. But there is a lot to improve - nowhere to put my big bag in the 12 bed dorm, I had to put it on the end of my bed, the bed light didn’t work, there was never any toilet paper in the toilet - I was given 1 roll when I asked and they didn’t refill anymore until the next afternoon. The wifi is really annoying, you have to keep reconnecting and it doesn’t work very well. It didn’t feel very clean eithe...

Rooms are not clean (looks like it’s been ages since last cleaning) especially bathrooms, very loud and smelly, there is a construction side in the hallway of the hostel that makes everything very dusty and loud, towels need to be rented. How ever the location is good and prices are cheap plus free breakfast

Cannot recommend sleeping on the first floor on a Saturday night. The ceilings are super thin, almost as thin as the very uncomfortable mattress, and are definitely not soundproof.

The location was great, pretty easy to find. Clear instructions to check in at the bar. Up the stairs was a construction zone, but easy enough to navigate. The room/ bathroom we’re a disaster. It felt like people had been living there long term and no one was cleaning up. The shower smelt terrible, my bed had crumbs on it when I arrived and the toilet room had so much garbage all over. Plus there was no lock on the toilet door. Was fine for a one night stop over, but I wouldn’t stay longer.

Our stay was awful. The location for this was great but that was it. Staff member was nice, however spent a while sorting door key cards before then saying we needed to download an app to unlock the dorm door etc. The walls were in the process of being plastered and the floors were very dirty everywhere. There was music and karaoke in the bar which was insanely loud and vibrated the dorm floor until 3am. Loos smelled like stale fags in the morning and grubby. No sleep, worst hostel i've visited.

Staff was very friendly, good location, overall pretty good. The bar downstairs was really nice and had fun events going on each night, but if you’re bothered by noise like that then I wouldn’t stay here. I think if you’re not picky this is a great place to stay, however the beds definitely were not comfortable and the locker cages under the bed would not be suitable for leaving anything important in. The place is also currently somewhat under construction still so just be mindful of that

I could paint and fix up the hostel, the bar is fine, the room is decent, the rest feels like you're in a construction site

The property was not meeting my cleaning standards. The room downstairs was not cleaning. No space to cook, only a microwave, not even a sink to rince your lunchbox. The showers was full of mold. At the breakfast several days the fruits were moldy.

Pros: Good value for money, especially having free breakfast. Fairly good location. Cons: internet costs €2 per day - not mentioned anywhere on Hostelworld (Netflix doesn’t work with their free 30-min internet sessions), lockers also cost money although there’s a lockable cage in the room (not safe enough for a passport or money). Bunk bed in the 4-bed room is shaky so I moved my mattress to the floor when sharing.

Friendly place, easy going, maybe a bit too easy. Breakfast needs a bit more attention and the place looks somewhat rundown. The music is a bit loud and the emergency light in the dorm on the first floor is too bright. May be difficult if you are a light sleeper, but I slept okay.

Great stay, cheap as chips, clean and friendly. Can't go wrong!
