Found bed bugs in our room and got stung

unfortunately this time we stayed we found bed bugs which was off putting so we ended up leaving. however the staff were great and gave us a refund which we appreciated.

We stayed in a private room, and found bed bugs at 12.30am, they offered us beds in a dorm instead and we found bed bugs in there too! The whole place must be riddled with them. They didn’t offer us any kind of refund just a free drink out of their fridge, and still made us pay for the laundry that we had to do to disinfect all of our clothes-which we wouldn’t have had ti do if there were no bedbugs There was also no where secure for us to store our luggage just a corner in reception

The cubes aren’t proper cubes but you can see that in the pics tho. There was a bed bug in my bed, they changed the sheets but I still didn’t feel comfortable, especially bc the end of the bed is not connected to the wall. It’s hard to explain but basically where your pillow is there are slits from which you can see into the other bunks and I also have a feeling the bed bugs wander too. I know this can happen in any hostel but keep it in mind, when travelling at a similar time
