+ Staff was nice. Location was decent.
- Filthy shared bathroom with pubic hair on floor. Bedding smelled. Room was adjacent to the smoking patio and thus had the smell of stale cigarettes.

- My experience here was SO off-putting. I was just coming from a lovely coliving space in Puerto Escondido and looked forward to a similar experience here. It was the complete opposite. Two days before I was due to arrive, I contacted the property to inform them that I was taking an overnight bus in and would be arriving Saturday morning, although I booked Friday night. I also asked about booking just two nights instead of 8, and they said sure we have you down for two nights. When I arrived, the girl at reception was SO RUDE, scolding me for not arriving Friday night. “What happened to you? You were supposed to arrive last night!” I explained that I communicated my arrival time two days before. Then I asked for the new payment amount since I was only staying two nights. The girl told me it wasn’t in their system so I offered to show her the texts as proof - and she said yes, please. I showed them to her and got no apology, just “G-d, it was Rachel working that night.” Either way I’m irritated bc who are you to be interrogating me? Tf? And you should have access to the same text thread I do, so don’t come asking me to provide proof of anything. Then she acted like it was such a huge deal for me to get a receipt. Like girl. I checked out almost immediately and switched to Co404 which is the TOTAL OPPOSITE- warm, inviting, welcoming. Don’t book at 13 Cielos.

- I’m so confused why this hostel has decent reviews. The staff were very rude and unhelpful the moment I checked in. They don’t have to be super smiley but they seemed miserable. Only a couple volunteers were decent. I was Overcharged for my room (booking.com said 370 pesos, I was charged 440) and then 100 pesos for a key, they wouldn’t do anything about it. Was charged late checkout 11 MINS after the checkout time, (my stuff already out the room before 11 however I was on the phone), I’ve never had such a thing happen in all my travel years. Zero empathy from the staff yet again. So disappointing. I couldn’t be happier to leave.(Also there was a lack of showers. Only 2 and one in one of the share rooms
We would NOT recommend this hostel! EXPENSIVE (hidden costs during transaction, 27€ per night for dorm!). To the MANAGER: We did a double-reservation by accident and had to pay for 4 persons, instead of 2. It was not possible to cancle and we had to pay the double price. It’s your decision, that the cancellation is not possible, NOT the one of the website! Payment in US-Dollar so the exchange rate was more expensive for us, but better for you, we want our MONEY BACK!

- W nocy było bardzo głośno recepcjonista pił alkohol z gościami mimo że zwracałem im uwagę że jest godzina 23:00 i chcę spać zachowywali się wciąż głośno drugi raz zwróciłem uwagę o godzinie 23:30 i dopiero po północy kiedy trzeci bądź czwarty raz wrzuciłem im uwagę i mogłem usnąć Śniadanie miało być w cenie do godziny 10:00 o godzinie 9:50 nic nie było nawet kawy w dniu mojego zameldowania były jajka banany lecz tego dnia którego ja tam byłem nic nie zaoferowano mi na śniadanie
+ I liked the strength of the WiFi The terrace and courtyard was also a nice space. Bed is comfy with storage space
- I didn't like the lack of cleanliness. The bathroom and kitchen were really dirty. While they have a lot of volunteers staying and working there, none do house cleaning and the 1 cleaner in the morning is not sufficient given the number of hóspedes Also, two showers for for the entire hostel is not sufficient. Very little fridge space to put food. And the morning breakfast is meaningless. They operate the night before and you're given one cold, hard-boiled egg, 2 pieces of toast, and cold porridge made from water. The dog is cute but very anxious, so if you return to the hostel late you have to not disturb its sleep otherwise it will start barking really loud. Also the living room and reception smells really bad due to the dog.
Niet geheel tevreden. De locatie is goed en de kamer is ruim. Helaas was het bed beroerd en is het erg gehorig, vervelend als er een haan bij de buren zit. Daarnaast is de hygiëne ondermaats, het plafond van de badkamer zit onder schimmel.
reception is not 24h got off the night bus at 6am and couldn’t even get into the hostel to drop my bags until 8am. This seems to be a problem for a lot of people as people are ringing the door bell every morning at around 6-7am They have set times you can use the showers which is weird and only 2 showers really annoying in the mornings Staff were ok not that friendly Wouldn’t stay again

+ The dorm bed is comfy, has a curtain, individual light and an electricity socket
+ I loved the private room, it was nicely decorated and even though it was tiny it was functional. There are sufficient shared bathrooms for all the guests. The staff and the volunteers are helpful and present. It's easy to meet people thanks to well designed social/working areas. Breakfast consists of a coffee, toast with butter and marmalade and a boiled egg. The location is great

+ J’ai commencé mon séjour dans cette auberge, il m’a été impossible d’aller ailleurs. Je m’y suis senti comme à la maison dès le premier jour. L’accueil est chaleureux, le lieu est vraiment agréable, le prix est très intéressant. Une adresse que je recommande !
