Hostal Rufus

I was going to give 10 stars but then the hostel ruined it by wanting me to pay for a dirty towel

Nice place for one night. Facilities are good and breakfast has plenty to offer.

The hostel is clean and a 10 minute walk to both the bus and the center of town. There is no kitchen, but the listing says there is a microwave but at times when we asked to use it, the staff seemed frustrated. The rooms are clean and maintained well but there are not real places to store your stuff in a 4 person dorm and there is no key to the door or a locker in the room. The free breakfast is really nice and includes eggs to order. Overall I liked the place but it was hard to make friends.

Schönes Hostel mit sehr gutem Frühstück. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich rundum wohl und sicher gefühlt. Auch die Lage ist top! Wenige Meter vom Busbahnhof entfernt und gute Restaurants sind schnell erreichbar. Das einzige was man anmerken kann ist, dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind. Nach einem langen Wandertag aber halb so schlimm.

Stayed here before and after the W trek, staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean, and delicious breakfast included. Would happily stay here again.

It's one one the newest and cleanest hostels I've stayed in on this trip. Pros: New property, super clean rooms and common areas, the beds are single beds (not bunks) so extremely comfortable, big windows in rooms that can open, the breakfast was top, the staff was professional and friendly. Keep in mind though, no self-use lockers, no kitchen, common area is fine but has a week vibe as it is run like a cafe. Overall, I would stay again, but for clean,comfortable stay,but not for hostel vibes.

Superb hostel in Puerto Natales. I especially appreciated the breakfasts with all that protein (eggs, ham, cheese) to fortify us travelers for our hikes that day. In addition, the rooms are spotless clean, with beds remade each day, and the central room to hang out is comfortable and full of light. Above all, every member of the staff were so helpful and cheerful, as well as patient while they gave me detailed advice on a map for the day’s excursion. All in all, highly recommended.

Ein wirklich tolles Hostel. Entspannte Atmosphäre, also wer ein party hostel will ist hier falsch. Helfen einen bei Touren organisieren oder Mietwagen besorgen. Man hat mich immer mit Namen angesprochen und gefragt wie mein Tag war. Habe ich super wohl gefühlt. Man muss wissen das es keine Küche, nur eine Mikrowelle gibt. Man kann aber Pizza bestellen und das Frühstück ist super. Das einzige was blöd war, das es keine Schließfächer auf den Zimmern gibt. Das soll wohl demnächst geändert...

Friendly staff and good breakfast included. Close to bus station. Very organized and clean hostel. Comfy beds and pillow with a towel included. Nice to not sleep in a bunk bed for a change. Only down side is limited space in rooms for bags and no lockers. But room is locked and key only for those staying in the room. Otherwise, loved this spot and would book again!

This is a great hostel and very refreshing as it feels more like a relaxing hotel than a hostel. The staff were great, breakfast was superb! Beds super comfy and feels like a family room rather than a dorm room which is a nice change. Showers were a little small but this didn’t bother me. Great location!

Lovely staff, very clean, very very comfortable bed. One of two places I stayed in puerto natales and this was quieter but much appreciated. I met lovely people here but was calm more adult vibe. Much cleaner bathrooms and chocolate on the pillow helps a lot to remind this place cares. Come here to rest before/after your hike. Have a great time

I had a single room for 4 nights and it was a lovely experience. Everything was perfectly clean, the bed comfortable, and hot water in both the shower and sink. The breakfast spread had good enough variety to have something a little different each day too. It was the perfect accommodation to go back to after a long day out in the elements. I even got to check in early once the room was ready! The staff were all pleasant and helpful too, and the cute little dogs were an adorable bonus! 10/10.

I was very happy with my stay at Rufus. All of the staff members I interacted with were wonderful.

Absolutely lovely hostal! Many nice amenities, friendly staff, good music and perritos! Will be staying here again in the future.

Llevo tres meses viajando por Sudamérica y este es el mejor hostel en que he estado. Las instalaciones, el personal, la localización, el desayuno muy bueno. Todo. El único "pero", que no tiene cocina, pero lo recomiendo al 100%. El personal es fantástico!

So homey! Like really comfortable, looks really nice! They really put in the extra effort for their guests! Incredibly helpful with the W trek! Without them it wouldn’t have been as amazing! Really thankful for their help!

Excelente lugar, sus espacios limpios; el Sr. Harris muy lindo te auxilia si lo necesitas; se encuentra cerca de la avenida principal y del rodoviario, sin duda regresaría ! Gracias por todo
