The employee's attitude towards work is not serious, unfriendly, and they got my room wrong. Also, the environment is not very good. I will not book again!
Rooms were extremely hot, bathrooms closed for multiple hours each day for cleaning, barely any space for bags in the rooms. Common areas and bathrooms were nice but the bedrooms were much lower in quality.
Not a hostel at all, and not inexpensive, but as a crash pad for seeing Taipei, the location is brilliant.
When I got there their where small insects all over the room and in my bed. Which I think we're booklice. When I told the lady at the reception she told me they didn't have another bed for me and could only refund my money. So I had to look for another accommodation at 10:30 PM. She also started spraying bug spray in the room when their were other people who still had to sleep there. When I told her that's not healthy she just opened the window and that was it.
Pretty alright. Mostly good. The major flaw: The air conditioner was set with a max (lowest) temperature of 24⁰. Of course, it was a sweaty, mostly sleepless night. I had to plead for them to turn it down to even 21⁰. Second night was slightly better, but still quite uncomfortable.
It's a clean and organised place, but there are so many signs with rules about what you can and can't do, travelers are free spirits and I felt a bit smothered. Put some trust in your guests that they don't come there to ruin the place and if they would want that they wouldn't care about the signs. The layout is very unfortunate, my dorm was opposite reception, had to walk past reception and whole common area to reach the bathroom, embarrassing when your in your pj's
Acceptable, but not remarkable. This is not a social hostel, so don't expect to make friends unless you're lucky with your fellow guests. Staff are very friendly, and it's very clean. They provide comically small towels barely fit for a 6 year old child, let alone a 6 foot tall adult. Beds are firm but very comfy. Bathrooms are limited. Overall, you'll have a comfortable stay, but it won't be one you'll look back on to remember.
We had a bad experience here, but that was mainly due to the staff. They were quite rude and short with us. Didn’t make one feel welcomed or even try to converse when we would say good morning/evening or ask how they were. It was quite clean and in a decent area so not bad for a stop over. They also only have towels the size of hand towels? Was quite odd,
clean, nice beds with curtains, like most Taiwan hostels no real social vibe. The kitchen was nice, the bathroom was ok. would say it's above average place in taiwan

This is one of the most clean and comfortable hostels I have ever been in. There is a lot of space, with a lot of showers, bathrooms and sinks and the kitchen is also really nice. The staff that works there is very friendly and helpful. The only thing is that people don't really socialize but that is common in Taiwan.

Nothing to complain about! Didn’t seem to be super social, but the hostelworld chat was helping!

It is a very low key hostel with very clean amenities~ The vibe is kinda low key at night in my experience~ but might be different for other ppl~^_^
The lounge area (kitchen area, relax and TV area) are kind of big and really welcoming. Easy to connect or do your own stuff. Dorms are good, beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful.
The only knock I have on this place is that there really isn’t a space for you to put bigger bags in the room. Other than that it was pretty good. Place is super clean, staff is super friendly, and the hostel is right outside Formosa Boulevard Station & Lihue Night Market (the best night market in Taiwan in my opinion).
I loved this hostel! So warm, cozy, and clean. I don’t speak Mandarin but luckily that was no problem and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The shower space is great and spacious. I liked that you get a locker in the dormroom. The common space is very cozy with a livingroom like space, and the table is nice to work at. Will recommend!
Spotless hostel, with many foreign guests as well. However, the beds are rock hard and not the most social place (normal for Taiwan though).
Super cozy and comfortable beds and room. Very clean but not social. Nice location
Hostel mit super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, netten Mitarbeitern und solider Ausstattung. Ich würde es wieder buchen, wenn ich noch mal nach Kaohsiung kommen sollte.
Everything was perfect, and the hostel is very lovely ! Very clean and well decorated The common space were perfect to meet people or just working, I highly recommend, will come back for sure !

One of the best hostels in Taiwan. Big, comfortable, clean. The common area is big, plenty of opportunities to socialise. The bathrooms are spavious and clean. Highly recommend it
Excellent stay booked at the last minute! Modern, clean, efficient, the common bathroom looks like a spa, and the kitchen is the best place to hang out and chat with other people! Really stunning
Great hostel! BUT the rooms are at the common area and you wake up very easily from people just talking. When the quite hours are not respected nobody from staff said anything which i would expect them to do so… Other then that the staff and hostel is great!

The beds are very hard and there isn't alot of lounge area for the number of dorms. Aside from that, the place is outstanding.
