Mano Verde is beautiful; the place is so welcoming and charming. The sunsets are great. However, I have two things to mention: first, the road is in terrible condition, and second, they charged me 60,000 COP for eggs when they had previously said they were around 12,000 COP. I found that really dishonest, especially since I’m from Colombia and I know exactly how much eggs cost. I couldn’t relax AT ALL during my stay. The dogs attacked me multiple times. They didn’t bite me but I felt unsafe the whole time. The owner saw this happen to several guests and did nothing except pet them to calm them down. The internet is turn off at nights. On a positive note, the food was ABSOLUTELY amazing—honestly the best I’ve had in the Santa Marta area. The chef is truly talented.

Cool spot in the mountains to chill out for a few days. Clean and comfortable. Food was great and varied. Really strong Starlink wifi. Nice views when the clouds allow. Hot shower.

Ein sehr schöner und meistens auch ruhiger Ort mitten im nirgendwo. Die Location ist sehr empfehlenswert wenn man einfach Mal abschalten möchte. Das Personal ist super freundlich und das angebotene Essen schmeckt super! Hier lernt man auch sehr gut neue Leute kennen beim Kartenspielen oder gemeinsamen Essen. Un lieu magnifiiiique à 45mn/1h (taxi moto ou jeep) de Minca séjour janvier 2025. The hostel is beautiful. Views & activities in the area incredible! Waterfalls etc. Only things I didn’t like were the *constant* smoking in the shared spaces by staff and guests. Even when people are eating. & the suggestion of permaculture is misleading - there is no fresh veg used in the meals & when I asked for a tour of the farm, he simply said he’d be taking it off the list of activities. It was one of the reasons I booked so was disappointed.

We had such a lovely time at Mano Verde. We would reccomend it highly. Our only comment on improvement is opening the kitchen for people to cook, our food in the 3 nights we were there was slightly off e.g. Cold, and if you aren't really hungry, you are faced with massive portions!

By far the best place I've stayed in Colombia. Super well maintained. Incredible views around. Complete relaxation and easy living next to nature and great travelers that come and go. Thanks Doris, Herold, Freidel and the crew. It's not a 5 because some possible improvement with the food quality and hygiene, nothing major though.

Lage unglaublich ruhig und schön. Von dort gibts tolle Wanderungen in die Berge (siehe Foto). Das Essen war wirklich unglaublich lecker und alle Leute die dort arbeiten sind super herzlich und lustig. War das beste Hostel in Kolumbien wo ich war.

Super expérience je recommande à 100% une vue exceptionnelle et un personnelle super sympa.

Un lieu incroyable qui vaut le détour! La maison est très belle, les chambres très propres, le cadre exceptionnel et la cuisine excellente. Un de nos coups de cœur en Colombie!

Nous avons tous les trois adoré notre séjour! Le lieu est magique par son accès privilégié à la nature. Bien que assez éloigné de Minca, une fois qu’on y est c’est un petit paradis qui vaut la peine de se déplacer! La nourriture est irréprochable. Très très pratique que tous les repas soient disponibles sur place.

Richtig gut! Wollte drei Tage bleiben und an Ende war es eine ganze Woche. Die Gegend ist schön, das Hostel super gechillt und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Anreise kann je nach Geschmack entspannt per Jeep/Mototaxi oder auf eigene Faust zu Fuß oder mit Leihmotorrad (Achtung: nur für sehr geübte Offroad Fahrer) begangen werden.

Mano Verde voelt als thuiskomen in een paradijsje. De sfeer die er hangt is uitzonderlijk: rust met vrolijkheid. Voor ons was dit veruit onze lievelingsaccomadatie in heel Zuid-Amerika. We bleven hier een week en zijn helemaal opgeladen en met instante heimwee, vertrokken. Het zicht is ongelofelijk, het eten is super lekker en met veel groentjes en hebben hier leuke mensen ontmoet. De birdwatching is ook zeker aan te raden.

Ce fût une étape magique, merci beaucoup à toute la belle équipe, le cuisinier pour ses bons petits plats la dame qui nous a accueillis bravo à tous.

Un petit coin de paradis, perché en haut de la montagne. Parfait pour se reposer, faire du yoga, ou encore des balades.
