This is Colombia Hostel

This is an ok hostel. Nothing bad to complain about. But I didn’t feel like it was easy to socialize as there’s not “good” common space area. The staff had good recommendations and good selection of activities though

The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful (maybe the most welcoming I’ve met so far). I really appreciate you helping me with my luggage and walking with me to my taxi. What could be improved is that it’s quite hot in the rooms. There was no AC at night and only a couple of hours in the evening (not automatic, I had to ask). The beds had no fans even though the photos and description showed fans. This made it quite uncomfortable :( bathroom also did not smell so good

The receptionists are really kind and try to make you feel like at home. Rooms and bathrooms including showers were super clean. The only issue is that the TV in the room never worked and kitchen was busy in the mornings to cook your own breakfast. The kitchen is shared with the cook who serves breakfasts for other clients.

Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Ein gutes Hostel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Die Duschen haben warmes Wasser. Die Matratzen sind ziemlich hart und wenn sich die Person im oberen Bett bewegt ist es ziemlich laut.

The staff is so nice and helps you everything needed, apart from that, the room itself is horrible. They have no hot shower water and only one fan in room but located in a place you cannot feel it, it was so hot at night that you can't sleep. There is a weird window or I should say hole in wall which cannot close, it has no wind coming but tons of mosquito flying in, got bited everynight, makes it hot and itch in bed. There's a kitchen but you can't cook breakfast before 10:00 is another problem

super nice hostel. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The bed was lovely to sleep in and there was a cheap breakfast. The best part was how amazing the staff was. They were super friendly and helpful in planning what to do in San Gil.

Super nice in every way, great beds easy to meet great people and very welcoming. super easy to book activities and always offering coffee and travel idea ☺️

I really loved staying here! The people running it are the friendliest! Despite it being very empty the people I met were lovely. You get free tea and coffee & help you with yours. :))) The only thing I’d say is they need to clean the bathroom more

This hostel is truly special! Every single member of staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, ensuring you have the best possible stay in San Gil! You can enjoy your own space and quiet time, but there are also plenty of opportunities to socialize and go out in the evenings. The hostel is in a great location and is also very clean! I recommend it 100% :)

I would rate this hostel 11/10 if i could. The staff are so kind and helpful. They helped us book activities, answered our questions about travel, helped us book taxis - honestly just really lovely people. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook dinner and the add on breakfast is such good value for money and delicious. The free coffee station and tv room to relax and watch Netflix is also such a nice bonus. It’s perfectly located in San Gil, close to lots of restaurants and shops. A must stay!

Great Hostel: really nice staff, that cares about you and helps with everything. There's different activities and trips and you can book your tours with them. The beds are comfy and have curtains, fans, light and plugs and the dorm has a lot of space. Nice atmosphäre. I really loved the hostel and would definitely stay there again.

The hostel is well located and offers many great tours. The entire staff was very cool, friendly, accommodating, and flexible.

Great small hostel. The talkative and interested staff really help to get the vibe going, making it so much easier to connect with people. As a solo traveler I definitely recommend

I had such a great time, the staff is extremely nice and helpfull. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the beds are bigger than average. The staff also helps you with everything you need, trips taxi etc. I would highly recommend staying here😊

The staff are incredibly friendly and always cracking jokes, which makes the atmosphere feel like home. It’s not often that I write reviews, but this hostel was phenomenal! I recommend it to anyone visiting San Gil. The beds have curtains, a fan, charging points & are placed so well, that it feels like you have your own private space. The rooms are big, there is a lot of sitting areas, and a small, but nice kitchen you can use. Bathrooms have hot water, and a lot of space to put your personal items. What a wonderful experience! The people there are the kindest and will make your stay truly memorable. The beds are great and I slept amazingly well. They also make booking all the activities around San Gil a breeze. I can only recommend to anyone to stay here!

Favourite hostel I’ve stayed in on my travels in central and South America so far ! Beds are big and comfortable. The staff working here are so friendly and helpful. make. You feel at home and like family more than just a guest, they know everyone by name. Sociable with events on every evening ! If you are in San Gil book here !

I can recommend the hostel 100%. The people working here are the loveliest, it is very clean, the bed is super comfortable and they have delicious breakfast options. I would return in a heartbeat!
