- It's too cold for me. And very noisy. Arriving at night is scary up the little dark track. Warning about that would have been good. The stairs is so steep I think it's dangerous and the only toilets are downstairs. Its very cheap to stay there but very little comfort or sleep. Nice family but unfortunately the homestay was cold and no sleep.

- I rarely write reviews, and almost never write negative ones. This is my first time writing a negative review. All I can say is that I felt like I was staying in a primitive home. The bedding wasn't changed and was awful. It's common knowledge that some species have such a foul body odor that even a single night's sleep is unbearable. Yet, they didn't even change my bedding. I've traveled to dozens of countries and stayed in countless hotels and B&Bs, all with excellent communication. Despite my poor English, I couldn't communicate with this B&B, and they kept misunderstanding me. All I can say is, don't deal with primitive people.
- Too far from city, and the road going to the homestay was too scary especially at night. So i will not encourage for solo traveller especially with female

staff does not listen, interrupts a lot. walks into your roomwhile you are seeping, and doesnt exit lost ny laundry,whichis1/3 of my packing and tried to blame it on me, even after id helped them look around. at checkout only said i shouldnt give them a bad review(due to lost laundry) because they dont speak ebglish well enough. doesnt even make sense.hostel is far away, staff is not great. amazing view and good food, but those are the only redeeming qualities.
Arrived at 4 am. Staff were very kind and arranged a private room for me free of charge. However it’s a very steep walk through bushes and in mud to get to the hostel. I had a laptop and camera gear with me and it was pouring. I decided to cancel my stay and stay in a hotel in the city center. I didn’t realize it was a hike to get to the hostel.

sweet hostel (more a hostel than a homestay). good starting point for trekking
Great get away location. The bathroom could use more cleaning, and it's disappointing that the hosts apparently don't carry cash for change (in Vietnam, really?). But I loved the location, and just a quick grab into Sapa for $3 USD.
exactly as advertised, peaceful. amazing views
Really lovely homestay! Our family room was very comfortable, and great value for money. It was very clean as well. The breakfast in the morning had lots of options and was filling. The family style dinner was a very nice way to meet other travellers! A very nice chill vibe. Only thing is in our room there wasn’t a lock / locker for valuables, so had to keep them on hand at all times. But the staff were very lovely and it was a great location for hiking!
+ I will start with view , what a beautiful view of the mountains. Very beautiful and nice organised place. Family who running this place was very nice and friendly and helpful , they were also provided information about the area and everything. Also they have restaurants also where you can find vegetarian options also Which was great and also very reasonable rate. I love my stay there , I will surely go again whenever in SAPA . Every member of family was very polite and respectful and ready to help , breakfast was superb 👌 , you can’t get this much in very good price point… 10/10 . While check out they give bracelet as a memory gift which was good step .
- Everything was so good
The host was not nice. Room was little and bathroom wasn’t very clean. Its too far from sapa too
+ Surelees family is very nice and made our stay special! They are eager to make all guests feel welcome. Definitely try the family dinner - it tastes super good and is a nice way to experience local cuisine.
Best place I have stayed in Vietnam so far, very good price, and the people who run it are so lovely. Food every night if you book in, and I could have stayed here two weeks and just chilled out. Very calm. 100% recommend if you don’t mind being a little out the centre Thank you for a lovely stay!

+ Staying here was more than just accommodation, it was a real experience. A special thank you to Linda, who was always incredibly helpful and kind throughout my stay. She made everything feel easy and welcoming. Her children are wonderful ,full of energy, smiles and authenticity. They truly represent the spirit of this place. What makes this homestay special is not just the location, but the people. Everyone here contributes to creating a genuine, warm and authentic environment that is hard to find nowadays. If you are looking for something real, not just a place to sleep, this is it. Thank you again for everything.

+ Being in a nice homestay with a lovely family sharing their lifestyle , and culture. Their little daughter was so cute. Tasty food. Nice atmosphere , beautiful decorations
- Very thin walls I could hear all the neighbours from upstairs or next to me.
