BED BUGS!! and handled badly. I found & killed one, but staff dismissed it, saying it must’ve come from elsewhere and questioning why I didn’t report it sooner—at 2am, with no staff around. They just vacuumed & gave the same bed to someone else that day. I also booked a sleeper bus with pickup, but after waiting 30 mins, I found out it wasn’t included & had to pay extra $10 for a taxi. The reviews for this place are way too high. The beds are hard and the bed sheets come off far too easily. The cafe is way too expensive and the hostel is very dead. The breakfast is self serve and lacks any good options.

It would be a great hostel if it weren't completely overrun with bed bugs. So stay away!!!

Good location, the dorms were clean and have a personal locker by your bed which is great. However, very noisy, there was a tapping noise all night long and the door is very noisy with the digital key system so anyone walking in / out is heard. Some members of the staff were very unfriendly and made you feel unwelcome...talking about you to their colleagues in Lao, in front of you, no smile, no warmth.

It’s a very ”okay” hostel, that’s the best way to describe it. You get a free drink but it’s about $2 more expensive than any other hostel in the area so it cancels out. The rooms are pretty standard but they get quite hot at night and it’s weird that there are no mixed rooms. The bathroom really smelt bad and, although really sweet, the staff were quite unhelpful. Stay here for a night if you have to however it’s probably the best you’re going to get in Vientiane

The door key to our room did not work, the door code was then written on the door so anybody would be able to get in. No lockers for valuables, did not feel safe. The ‘bed’ is basically a hard mat with a sheet over it. On the other hand, staff were friendly and it’s nice that you get a free drink each day. Decent location

Do not use their ATM service. I was going to use a normal ATM machine but the lady wearing glasses running the hostel said that they give better rates than the banks and only charge a 2.8% fee. They ended up charging my card $25.70 USD and gave me 500,000 Kip in cash. When I asked how she did the calculation for the 25.70 number, she got upset with me and was being rude when she couldn’t re-create the number.

Comfortable and spacious bunks, with a cupboard! (All female dorm). Good and clean bathrooms separate to the toilets. Really cute cafe where you get a free coffee/tea/matcha every night you’re there! Good location too. Not much of a social atmosphere and no advertised activities.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable Professional and polite. Everything was clean and reasonably well-kept. The “make-your-own” breakies were a pleasant surprise and thankfully not too crowded.

Had a great time here, the hostel is super cute and social. They were really helpful in booking our buses for us and called to make sure there was aircon and toilets on the bus. Lovely staff, good coffee, and yum free breakfast would recommend !

Nice hostel for a few nights (I stayed 2) I liked that the beds were spacious, the toilets were kept clean, staff were there for you but didn’t always seem very enthusiastic but I don’t judge haha, the cafe was nice and I appreciated the daily free drink. When I was there the bathroom sinks had a bad smell but for me wasn’t a big deal. Not really a sociable place although there are 2 common areas plus the cafe. Overall is not spectacular but decent place to stay and I was happy there!

Eins der besten Hostels in dem wir bisher waren! Der 1920s Barn Style im Eingangsbereich und Café ist mega cool umgesetzt. Wir haben je ein Freigetränk im Café erhalten. Es gibt Frühstück in einer Küche, dass man sich aber selbst zusammenstellen kann/muss. Die Betten sind schon eher hart, dafür ist alles sehr sauber, die Türen sind immer geschlossen und abschliessbar, man kann den Rucksack gut einschliessen (eigenes Schloss nötig). Hier kann man auch easy das obere Stockbett habe.

A great hostel with a unique old-time feel in central Vientiane. The highlight of my stay has to be the attached cafe (included breakfast), and the amazing upstairs social area. The dorm rooms themselves were decent and clean, however unfortunately as the bathroom area is very open there were a lot of mosquitos. Not sure how to fix this, but maybe some netting over windows. Bar this, good hostel and friendly staff!

Sehrschönes hostel. Nur im Gebäude der dorms waren extrem viele mosquitos. Aber die Atmosphäre ist sehr entspannt

Loved my stay here! The rooms were kept nice and cool the AC and fans on. Beds were comfortable with lots of space, and the vibe in the main room/cafe was just perfectly relaxing. Also a free drink per day, was such a bonus! Laundry was very affordable to do there (20/kg), and my clothes came back perfectly, and the key cards into the rooms made me feel very safe. I also liked how the mixed dorms and female dorms were on separate floors. Will definitely stay again in the future!

Spacious bunks, good location

Super vriendelijke eigenaren! Fijn dat je zelf je ontbijtje kan maken en je krijgt een gratis drankje uit het cafe. Kamers waren erg schoon alleen wat harde bedden. Zeker een aanrader!

Really nice hostel, the beds are comfy and clean, a nice chill atmosphere and the cafe attached to the hostel is lovely and cozy

Staff were so friendly, helped me book tours,etc. Free cafe drinks with nights stay. Dorms are huge but you don’t feel cramped. The bunks are so big you can fit the whole 50L bag on the bench with you by the mattress. Made for changing and packing really easy. Great location, short walk to most places.

it's a nice quite hostel. Close to all the main sightseeing places and 7/11. You could make your own breakfast which was nice and get a free coffee. it's not a very social hostel but chill.
