Remedy Hostel

Hostel insalubre. Les murs des douches sont couverts de tâche d'humidité et la chambre dégage une odeur de moisi vraiment nauséabonde, en plus d'être minuscule (en gros un couloir plein de sacs car pas de casiers, desservant les lits). Il n'y avait plus assez de cartes d'accès à mon arrivée, et le réceptionniste m'a dit de descendre à la réception lui demander de l'ouvrir à chaque fois que je voulais rentrer dans la chambre. Bref, ridicule - allez à Petit Espace ou Sailomyen Hostel.

Contact gehad dat we 01:00 uur zouden aankomen. Eenmaal aangekomen, was er geen personeel aanwezig. Een gast deed de deur open. Twee noodnummers proberen te bellen- niet opgenomen. We zijn zelf de kamers ingegaan op zoek naar lege bedden. Het bleek dat er niet eens genoeg bedden waren en hadden we de bedden met elkaar moeten delen. De volgende ochtend probeerden we de situatie uit te leggen en de manager wilde ons het dubbele laten betalen voor de bedden ondanks dat we deze gedeeld hadden!!

The location was good but the rest.. bathroom is in a horrible condition. The water didn't worked. And they didn't tell the guests. Plus wifi was s*** and my locker was hella stinky

I had booked a stay for a private room with en-suite Upon arrival I was taken to a room with a shared bathroom I had come back down and explained this was incorrect also showing my booking on Hostelworld. Having already paid for the room upon arrival I was then told I had to pay 44 usd more to stay in the room that I had booked and paid for via Hostelworld, I was then refused a refund. When I asked for a refund I was surrounded by 4-5 members of staff Not clean Avoid like the ex

Das gebuchte Zimmer war gar nicht vorhanden. Uns wurde ein 6qm kleines Loch für US 30.- gegeben. Erst als wir uns beschwert haben und nach langem hin und her wurde der Preis gesenkt. Da wir erst spät am Abend angekommen sind wollten wir nicht mehr auf eine neue Suche gehen. Meidet dieses Hostel!!!!

Horrible check in process. They leave phone numbers to contact for help and both Mimi & Khampout ignored us and would stop answering leaving us stranded. Water doesn’t work in bathrooms. No toilet paper and even the sinks were filthy. They try to charge you more than what your booking says. Shady place, owners yell at the staff in front of you.

Probably not the best option. Nobody at reception when I wanted to check in or out and I didn’t feel that safe. No vibes or atmosphere. Weird place. Fine for one quick night.

Waited to check in for about an hour; no one working reception & doors locked. When the employee finally showed up, he was on the phone during the entire check in process & super unfriendly - acted as if I was bothering him by being there. Bathrooms were decent, not terrible for a shared facility; warm showers, room & bathroom covered in webs with ants and mosquitoes EVERYWHERE. not to mention we were given stiff, yellowish towels. Chose to take a night bus to Pakse over staying the night here.

If you check out before 8am they keep your key deposit as they don’t have staff in. We were in an a 12 female dorm and there was just 2 of us in the end and we had staff come in unannounced 3 times including once at 3 am to walk around the room. When I stood to ask what they were doing they walked straight out. We did not feel safe at all. We had to ask for the lights to be switched on so we weren’t in darkness. ‘Breaskfast is 7-10 but they couldn’t cook till 10?’ 100% Book elsewhe...

Great hostel for the night, beds were much better than expected and felt secure. Staff were helpful. Couldn’t ask for much more.

Beds are epic, but the hostel is a bit rundown. The shower is tiny, and the staff was nice. The location is super.

Great bed and good shower. 6 bed dorm was within a larger dorm and no door separating it. End up being a 12+ dorm

Lovely staff. Excellent place to stey in Viantiene. Very close to the night market. Good wifi

Bien mais très basique

certains membres du personnel ne parlent pas anglais du tout il faut utiliser Google translate. Les salles de bain étaient sales et le dortoir de lit double et celui de lit simple sont en fait le même

OK place to stay in Vientiane and beds are comfy. Rooms are very small and we had no water for one day.

Good times

super comfortable and private beds. showers were a little interesting and there was only one sink available to use amongst everyone there which caused some minor delays in the morning. no atmosphere whatsoever, though i did get lucky with a few girls in my room who i chatted with! also the vibes were very interesting, im not sure if its a backpackers-only hostel.

not social and no facilities buuut the beds were absolutely amazing

Enjoyable stay, very comfy and big beds, close to night market. Only con is that you can’t switch off the lights in the rooms at night

Very good hostel. The rooms are very clean and the rooms are the fanciest I’ve ever seen. The bathroom’s are decent however there’s only one sink which is an inconvenience. There isn’t really an atmosphere here so not a great place for meeting people. That said it’s a good place overall.

Auberge bien située, à 5 minutes du night market, mais qui reste au calme. La chambre était propre et mignonne. Mais elle n’est pas très bien isolée, on entend les gens cracher dans la salle de bain commune depuis notre lit Les salles de bain communes auraient pû être plus propres L’équipe est très gentille ! Il y a un petit déjeuner inclu dans le séjour, avec différents choix

Nice lil hostel at a very convinient location in Vientiane. Beds offer good privacy and are comfy. Staff are very nice and friendly, big shout out to Hon!

Had the private room and really loved it !!

Good location near the food market and big bed which was nice. However the shower and toilet is not great and the stairs is not built for people above 6ft. No atmosphere.
