De locatie is absoluut fantastisch maar de faciliteiten van het hostel waren zwaar ondermaats. Er moest per uur betaald worden voor de wifi en de slaapzalen hadden geen stopcontacten, airco of ventilator. De slaapzaal van mijn partner had niet eens een raam. Het matras was zodanig doorgezakt dat ik eigenlijk op het houten bed lag. Voor 32 euro per nacht per persoon vond ik deze faciliteiten ondanks de locatie totaal niet acceptabel.
The location is absolutely fantastic but the facilities of the hostel were very inferior. wifi had to be paid by the hour and the bedrooms had no outlets, air conditioning or ventilator. my partner's bedroom didn't even have a window. the mattress was so closed that i actually lag on the wooden bed. for 32 euros per night per person i found these facilities despite the location totally not acceptable.
Location is great, right across the river and relatively close to the city center and Palais des Papes. But the place is awful, dirty, not well maintained, with an unsmiling staff. The rooms are bland with wooden bed frames making a ton of noise. The curtains are flying around, and you need to keep the windows open at night to get a bit of fresh air in the room. There's only one plug per room, and there is no WiFi (need to pay a fee). Wouldn't recommend.
Overpriced for what it is… It is very simple - no kitchen, common areas or even lockers in the room. You can leave valuables at the check-in desk but it’s not very convenient as they’re not always open. Cleanliness was an issue as well - there was no soap anywhere! Another guest checked out and I witnessed them only change the top sheet and not the bottom. The general cleanliness is ok, the cleaners did wipe down the doors, but that’s it. I’d go elsewhere and pay a bit more.
The facilities are very unkept. There is a smashed front door window, broken curtains in the dorm, only one plug in the entire 6 person room, dirty dorms and hostel, no kitchen facilities, only a sheet and a pillow on the bed and very dark & gloomy lighting. With lots of 3am noise. Truly an unsettling atmosphere to walk into the hostel. As a solo female traveller I asked for a refund due to safety and comfort concerns and checked out after one night. The owner was lovely.

Éramos seis personas en la habitación y contábamos con dos enchufes dentro, más otros dos compartidos con el resto de habitaciones (por estar en el pasillo). Las ventanas de la habitación se podían abrir desde fuera, estando en un bajo.
We were six people in the room and had two plugs inside, plus two others shared with the rest of the rooms (because it was in the hallway).
Nice enough place, lovely staff, and cheap enough to put up with, but sadly no internet available for the guests and no real kitchen space to use
Feels more like an old summer camp, the facilities are in bad condition and not so clean. But the staff is really friendly, they got free parking, location is good. A lot of mosquitoes, no AC or nets on the windows. If you are traveling with a car and just need a place to sleep a night and walk across the old city I would recommend. If you are seeking to meet people or stay in a nice place you have better options for pretty much the same price .
Sooo I was only there for one night and I came late, but it was really hard to communicate with the security guard, since he did not speak a word English. He still tried his best to explain though and the man at the checkout was really nice. The rooms are kind of clean, I saw some bug in the bed though. The toilets and showers however are really not good. no sign of soap and pretty s**t toilets overall. The building where everything was seemed kinda shady, too. For one night ok, nothing more tho
Der Aufenthalt war ok. Der Ausblick auf die Wahrzeichen von Avignon und die Nähe zum Zentrum sind definitiv Pluspunkte. Das Unterkunft ansich fand ich jedoch eher mässig. Die Zimmer waren sehr rustikal, es gab nur eine Steckdose und die war unter dem Bett. Auf dem WC gab es an beiden Tagen kein WC-Papier.
The view of the landmarks of Avignon and the proximity to the center are definitely plus points. however, the accommodation as a whole I found rather crowded. the rooms were very rustic, there was only one outlet and it was under the bed. on the toilet there was no toilet paper on both days.

Établissement simple, j'ai loué un lit dans un dortoir, je n'avais pas besoin de plus pour une nuit. Les sanitaires communs sont corrects et fonctionnels. Le lit était confortable. L'emplacement est idéal pour aller au festival de la rose d'or qui se trouve juste à côté. Je reviendrai sûrement si je ne dors pas dans un camp et que je reviens pour ce festival. C'est aussi bien placé pour visiter Avignon car le centre ville est à 10 minutes de marche.
Simple establishment, I rented a bed in a dormitory, I didn't need more for one night. The common toilets are correct and functional. The bed was comfortable. The location is ideal to go to the Golden Rose festival which is right next door. I will definitely come back if I don't sleep in a camp and I come back for this festival. It is also well placed to visit Avignon because the city center is 10 minutes walk away.

There wasn't even a single soap in the bathroom of this hostel to wash your hands, there was no electrical outlet in the room, and even though I mentioned these points, no one paid attention.

Das Hostel liegt sehr gut um die Stadt Avignon zu besuchen. Alle Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit.
The hostel is very well located to visit the city of Avignon. all staff are super friendly and helpful.

The place is more a caravan parking and doesn't have facilities for backpackers like lockers in the room, kitchen.. Wifi cost extra (2€ for 24h) The location is great, not in the center but on the island in front of the old city.

Saubere Unterkunft, alles was man braucht. Gute Lage. Das einzig blöde war, dass wir einen Damenschlafsaal gebucht hatten und trotzdem mit männlichen Personen in ein Zimmer gesteckt wurden.
The only thing that was stupid was that we had booked a ladies' dormitory and were still put in a room with male persons.
