Worst hostel. All I have to say
One of the worst hostels of my life. I ended up in a room with no windows. The bedroom door opened without a key. The kitchen and common areas were small and always dirty. Cleaning was done randomly and not every day. When I was there, a lady who slept in the hostel was cleaning and for 2 days. Then she was never seen again and no one cleaned up again. The staff was really rude. The guy at the front desk kept chastising me for everything instead others doing really dirty things.
I wouldn’t stay here again, staff was basically nonexistent, room was dinghy, carpet had a big stain on it and facilities were dirty. The only decent thing I have to say is that the location is pretty central. Other than that, this was my worst hostel experience in Auckland.
Our bedroom had no window, therfore it smelled in the dorm room with no chance of airing out. Also the air coming in from a vent in the wall (probably AC) was very cold, so we were freezing during the night, there was no heater available. Apart from that the hostel is not welcoming at all, everything is quite worn down and there is no effort to make it more comfortable. The kitchen was clean with a microwave and a cooking plate available. The bathroom, toilets and showers were older but okay.

Relativ kleines Hostel. Während unserem Aufenthalt war niemand in unserem Alter (18) da. Das ging erst bei 25 oder so los was echt Schade war. Abends war die Küche immer so voll das wir auf der Couch neben der Rezeption gegessen haben. Es wurde jeden Tag geputzt aber es war zumindest für uns nicht so richtig viel Stimmung was uns sehr runtergezogen hat.
Relatively small hostel. during our stay there was no one in our age (18) there. it was only at 25 or so that it happened was really bad. at night the kitchen was always so full that we ate on the couch next to the reception. it was cleaned every day but it was not so much right for us at least the mood was very down.
NZ has a town of wonderful hostels. Unfortunately this wasn’t one of them. There was never enough fridge space and all of the fridges smelled horrible. The rooms felt like a prison since they had no exterior windows. bathrooms were not very clean and the kitchen was always a disaster with very little eating and meal prep space.
Das Hostel war in Ordnung. Schon sehr gut ausgestattet, genug Bäder und in der Küche alles was man zum Kochen braucht. Es gibt sehr viele Regeln für alles und der SchlSchlafsaal (obwohl er ein Fenster hatte) wurde nie gelüftet und roch dementsprechend.

Bit hard to find the property, above some old offices, feels a bit like a warehouse. No curtains on beds so not much privacy. Beds pretty basic, but squeaky. Not the biggest kitchen space but enough to make do. Bathrooms pretty clean and plenty of toilets and showers to use. Location not to bad but a bit far away from the harbour
Not a bad stay, has everything you need, staff were friendly just probably wouldnt stay again. 8 bed female room gets extreamly hot and uncomfortable for the lack of windows and small size.

Very clean and quiet hostel. Everyone was respectful and followed rules in shared spaces during my stay. Was a great place to get work done as I was working remotely during part of my stay.
Une auberge à taille humaine où il est facile de faire des rencontres. Située à 20 minutes à pieds du centre, propre, avec tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner et faciliter vos séjours. Le personnel, très sympa, tente de vous aider du mieux qu'il peut.
A human-sized hostel where it is easy to meet people. located 20 minutes walk from the center, clean, with everything you need to cook and facilitate your stay. the staff, very friendly, try to help you as best they can.

Great location which is important to me. Great price. Hot shower. Big kitchen full of utensils. The atmosphere was weird. Not a single person talked to me in 4 days. But the rest was good. No complaints at all.
Realmente disfruté mi estadía en el hostel, Si necesitas algo, ahí está. Por el precio me sorprendió bastante. El ambiente agradable y las instalaciones limpias. La cama cómoda. lo recomiendo!!
I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel, if you need anything, there it is. for the price I was quite surprised. the nice atmosphere and clean facilities. the bed is comfortable. I recommend it!!

Nice Hostel, also if you want to stay a little longer. Staff is friendly and kitchen is as clean as it’s possible for a shared space, depending always on residents of course. Well equipped and in a good location, close to nice city areas.
Très bonne petite auberge, super calme, génial pour de reposer, pas pour faire des rencontre. Possibilité d'aller dans le centre a pied. Commerce juste en bas, cher, mais on y trouve l'essentiel.
Very good little hostel, super quiet, great for resting, not for meeting. possibility to go to the center on foot. shopping just downstairs, expensive, but there is the essential.

good stay especially for the price. a lot of people here to find work but I still found it easy to socilaise

nice enough hostel, quite quiet. there is nowhere to store luggage, which is a bit annoying if you arrive early etc. near k road which is fine in the day, but doesnt feel that safe if youre a single woman late at night
A part le quartier qui n’est pas le meilleur mais malgré ca pas du tout loin du centre et on se déplace facilement même le soir, l’endroit très agréable on y fait de belles rencontres et tout est très clean et surtout la cuisine est très très bien équipée
Apart from the neighborhood which is not the best but despite that not at all far from the center and you move easily even in the evening, the place is very nice you make nice meetings and everything is very clean and above all the kitchen is very very well equipped
Had an okay stay here, was fine for a couple nights with a pretty good location. Wasn’t very sociable at all but facilities were good and kept clean. A few times felt unsafe in the immediate area outside with men shouting and talking to me so I felt a little unsafe as a solo female traveler but overall fine.
Must be the cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed at, especially the kitchen. Beds could have walls and curtains to increase privacy and sleep quality. Otherwise def value for money!
Decent stay - staff organised a new years meal which was lovely and helped to meet other guests.
