Hop Hostel

Too many rules, stupid how you can’t even take the towel from the hostel to the hostel pool onsite. Have you rent a pool towel that doesn’t dry you. Can’t drink by the pool. Come 10pm the bar closes and you can’t even buy water. Nearest store is 500 steps down the road in the dark. Roof top bar was nice but even though it said it was open they had nobody there to serve which is dumb so every one had to walk 4 floors down to the bar to get a drink and come back up again. Useless idea!

The beds were very comfortable. The staff was okay, nothing special. The bathroom was gross and didn’t have any shampoo or soap available, which you would expect for the price of the hostel. The toilet didn’t flush, which made the whole room smell bad. The pool area only had a few chairs, which made it uncomfortable.

The staff were hostile , unhelpful and just full of attitude - rolling their eyes when we asked them a question, making us wait at the front desk when they were blatantly doing nothing. For a breakfast (overpriced) the pancakes came with 4 slices of banana … asked the staff for some more given the price and they said they couldn’t because it was a “garnish” literally had to beg for a banana it’s ridiculous

Overall it is not the most sociable hostel, no activities were provided properly, especially as a solo traveler. Better stay at outpost

The hostel was clean and had good facilities however we found that it was difficult to find staff to talk to at reception (it was often unmanned) and that when we did find them, they weren’t particularly helpful or friendly. We felt at times as though we were bothering the reception / restaurant staff and they didn’t make us feel welcome. We also got told on arrival that myself and my partner had to stay in different rooms due to their strict policy on one person per double bed. There was no...

My night at this hostel was terrible. The couple in the bunk above me were having s*x all night, which made it impossible to sleep. This is completely inappropriate in a shared dorm, and the lack of staff intervention shows poor management. If you want a place where quiet hours and respect are enforced, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Great hostel! Super social. My downfall for here is that a few of us got stuck in coron due to a typhoon so had to extend, unfortunately they had put the price up which I thought was quite unfair

The hostel was nice, however the bathroom flooded whenever someone had a shower and the sink was blocked. My friend had bed bugs in her bed and the staff just wanted to change the sheets, but they did change the mattress after we insisted. The reaction of the staff when we said there were bed bugs gave the impression that it was a common occurrence.

Prima hostel. Ik was de enige die geen tweepersoonsbed kreeg dus dat was wel erg teleurstellend. Het eten is prima, wel erg weinig ligbedden bij t zwembad. Vond het minder dan ik had verwacht

Het is oke, ik boekte een 6 persoons kamer en kwam in een 8 persoons. Vrij gehorig, mijn kamergenoten waren niet vriendelijk. Personeel hielp met mijn koffer omdat er een flinke trap is om binnen te komen. Locatie is prima. Zwembad is fijn!

nice hostel !! the beds are super comfortable

Mit Abstand das schönste Hostel in dem ich war. Ist jetzt nicht sooooo super social, aber zum entspannen in Coron super. Riesige Betten, dicke Bettdecken, leckeres Essen. Einfach schön dort

Beautiful and aesthetic hostel with a great vibe. Rooftop has amazing sunset views (free shots too). Not very social but has a pool, cinema room, and chill spots. Many stairs though. Beds are comfy with lamp, outlet, duvet, towel, and big lockers. Limited toilets/showers per floor. Kitchen, laundry, and drying area available. Daily activities offered. Staffs are kind. Walking distance to restos. Could improve with a full first aid kit.

Best night sleep I’ve had in a hostel. The beds were comfy and the room was very clean. I stayed on the 2nd floor so couldn’t hear the music from the bar and it’s the sort of hostel where people set an alarm on vibrate mode so you can get a great night sleep. It wasn’t the most social but did have a nice rooftop bar and ran daily events which I didn’t attend to be fair so maybe you would have met friends like that.

This is a really nice hostel in a great location. The views from the rooftop/ pool area were stunning. The dorms and common areas were spacious, comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel also organises daily activities, tours and motorbike rentals and free dinners are provided too if you sign up before a certain time.

Lovely hostel, really chilled. The pool is great, and there’s washing machines to do laundry which is helpful. Good food in the cafe downstairs. Would stay again!

This hostel looks like it could be in Greece. Very clean rooms and a quiet atmosphere. I was only here for two nights after the boat exhibition but loved it and was able to rest a lot!

Such a beautiful hostel , the staff are super friendly, the food is so yummy and cheap and the beds are the comfiest I have ever stayed in!! Would 100% come back :)

I'd really recommend staying here! loads of space to explore, great staff and rooftop bar. free dinner was great, the activities didn't always work out but it was great to have the option. beds were super comfy!

Best hostel we have stayed in, in asia

offered airport pick and drop off at port for the boat expedition to El Nido. Was given a double bed and it was the comfiest bed I’ve slept in for months. Only improvement i would say is the door to dorm room was sometimes difficult to open meaning it would disturb others in the room due to everyone having to attempt it a few times on different occasions

Amazing hostel in Coron, the people there were amazing, so was the staff and the food is good ! I could have stayed longer :)

Lovely hostel, great sunset bar and pool, comfy beds. The only downside was you can hear the music from the bar in all the rooms until its shut off round 11.

Very Nice hostel, just not social

Very nice hostel with super comfy king size beds and a really nice rooftop with an amazing view (especially for sunset). The price for the view is a VERY long way up though (especially starting from city center). Friendly staff who take care of a lot of things (transports, laundry etc.)

Es el mejor hostal en el que he estado. Habitaciones amplias, con espacio para tus cosas y cama muy comoda. Todo el hostal estaba limpio, el personal era muy amable y ofrecian todo tipo de servicios. Las zonas comunas estan muy bien y hay mucho ambiente para conocer a gente. El mejor sitio para ver el sunset sin duda :) Repetiria seguro!
