Inka King

Avoid this hostel! We booked a night for two at 60 soles, but upon arrival, the manager demanded 100 soles without reason, claiming breakfast was included. Too tired to argue, we stayed, but the room had no Wi-Fi or comfort. Getting hot water required a lot of patience. Worse, an aggressive dog kept trying to bite us whenever we entered. With the unfair price increase, lack of basic services, and poor hospitality, I strongly advise against staying here.

Great location, great family staffing the place and great hostel dog. However, the bathroom is not clean and there weren’t any lockers. social atmosphere was nonexistent when i stayed but that’s also because the hostel wasn’t very full at the time.

Personally I am not a fan of dogs and in this hostel there is a dog that always approaches me every time I return to the hostel. Also, the dining room and/or the entrance smelled like dogs and was honestly very unpleasant. There is breakfast, but it is mainly two breads and a drink, very simple. The staff recommended some places I can visit around this property, and those information were very helpful. But I wouldn't stay here again.

We never managed to enter the hostel, it's central and easy to find but no one answers the door after knocking and ringing the bell for a while, so we had to stay somewhere else. When traveling without Internet connection or a local cellphone, impossible to enter.

Im Allgemeinen war ich nicht ganz überzeugt von den Bewertungen dieser Unterkunft. Es war jetzt nicht besonders schlecht dort, aber auch nicht besonders gut. Im Zimmer war es eisig kalt und leider keine Heizungen verfügbar. Ich habe noch eine zusätzliche Decke bekommen, was nicht unbedingt geholfen hat. Es war auch alles sehr veraltet. Leider war es ab morgens durch ein Fenster im Dach auch sehr hell. Die Menschen dort aber sehr freundlich.

Sto viaggiando da sola e questo atteggiamento è inaccettabile. L'hotel è a conduzione famigliare, ho potuto parlare di questa cosa con la madre che si è subito scusata perché lui in quel momento non era presente.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und bemüht. Es ist störend, dass es nicht durchgehend warmes Wasser gibt und man erst Bescheid geben muss, damit dieses angeschaltet wird. Leider mussten wir dennoch ein Mal kalt duschen, da das Warmwasser wieder zu früh abgeschaltet wurde. Bellende Hunde und ein unbequemes halten einen Nachts wach. Ebenso lässt die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig, da überall lange schwarze Haare liegen. Als Durchgangsübernachtung dennoch zu empfehlen.

Bathroom put off septic smell from drains. The other room didn't have this problem. Made the room stanky af. Friendly enough staff. Breakfast was minimal. Cool alley location, one night some dog barked until 3am, not sure if it was theirs or one outside. Construction going on in the building throughout stay. Hopefully it's improvements for the next guests

The owner is very nice and helps you with anything. Not everything was perfect, but he gave me a private room although I had booked a dorm, which was very nice of him.

Inka King was amazing! The local owner gave me excellent recommendations and was super kind and attentive. The place was clean, and the location was great. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxed, local experience.

The hotel is very well located, the staff is very kind. They have a super friendly dog named Charlie. I had a trip to Machu Picchu and they allowed me to leave my luggage without any charges.

Es gibt wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Ich konnte sogar vor Ort meine Wäsche waschen. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.

Cute place, no hot water but otherwise great. The staff was amazing!! None any other guest (almost) though.

We had an awesome stay at Inka King! Our host Cali was so personable, helpful and informative. He gave us a tour of some of the Inka homes, made us breakfast with eggs from his chickens he raises just down the street, and arranged a taxi for us to/from Cusco with stops in the Sacred Valley catered to us. His hostel is beautiful, with many plants in the patio and an amazing terrace for star gazing. Would recommend and stay again!

Fantastic location! Family who runs hostel are super friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean, hostel itself is beautiful. Only downside was that the hot water wasn’t working on our last night. Would recommend staying here!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Inka King. Caly and his family are warm generous people and helped us have an excellent time. Our only regret is that our flight was delayed so we missed one of the two nights that we had planned to stay there. Ollantaytambo is an incredible place and is definitely worth more in-depth exploration.

I had a great time at the Inka King Hostel! The hostel is really lovely, with a beautiful terrace offering a fantastic view, super friendly staff, and a wonderful breakfast. I also received great tips for the city and the surrounding area! The bed was so comfy that it was the first time on my trip I got a full night's sleep. Definitely highly recommended, big thumbs up!

In the middle of the town, beautiful 360 view from terrace and really lovely stuff that gave a best advices what and how to visit!
