As a frequent hostel visitor, this place was extremely underwhelming and quite literally the worst hostel I have ever stayed at. My biggest issues here were the quality of the room we stayed at. The A/C unit was not working and despite our attempts to notify the staff, nothing was ever done. The beds were very creaky and felt more like fourth grade camping beds rather than a top-rated hostel. Before you book your stay, I think it’s important to share my personal experience at this Hostal. The staff were friendly and tried their best to assist me, but unfortunately my stay was heavily affected. After my first night, I woke up with what seemed to be bedbug bites on my arm. This completely ruined my holiday. Instead of enjoying my trip, I spent the rest of my stay stressed, uncomfortable, and unable to relax. Pésimo trato del staff, llamaron a la policía por un incidente menor, afortunadamente tuvieron criterio los oficiales y no me llevaron en detención. Las habitaciones son minúsculas y no se puede pasar si ya está alguien parado. El desayuno es bueno aunque falta proteína. La ubicación inmejorable.

Sehr enttäuschend. Die Bedienung war extrem unfreundlich und respektlos. Die Getränke wurden einfach lieblos auf den Tisch gestellt, ohne sie den Personen direkt zu servieren. Zudem wurden wir aufgefordert, ein Mindestkonsumationslimit einzuhalten, nur weil wir nichts gegessen haben. Zum Schluss wurden wir regelrecht aus dem Lokal gedrängt, weil wir angeblich zwei bis drei Minuten zu lange geblieben sind. Ein derart schlechter Umgang mit Gästen ist inakzeptabel – wir kommen bestimmt nicht ...

Me parece increíble que cobren absolutamente por todo. Se supone que, cuando escoges una habitación con literas que incluye baño y ducha, lo normal es que te proporcionen al menos una toalla, ya que en muchos hostales esto viene incluido. Lo mismo ocurre con lo básico para dormir: uno espera encontrar una almohada, una sábana y alguna manta, porque es lo lógico. Nos hemos quedado dos noches. La toalla costaba 3 € cada una y, además, nos las retiraron al día siguiente, de modo que, si ...

No se puede dormir. Yo entiendo que haya mucha gente, sobre todo jóvenes. Pero que no haya horarios de silencio que se respeten es decepcionante. Un desastre. Mi hermano se tuvo que ir por esto y ni siquiera una disculpa o compensación.

Absolute garbage, don’t let the reviews fool you. I too thought it was a great facility up until between 4am and 6am when I left my stuff with reception for 2 minutes to go to the bathroom and for my bag to get stolen. Considering only the receptionist and I were there, I think either he did it or he got someone to do it. I filed police report and they still refuse to hand over security footage to me. I want a refund. Absolute garbage. I’ve been to nearly 20 countries and first ever happened...

This place is a rip off. Get ready to stay in a room white 10 guys snoring.

Lovely place to stay, I had an amazing bed in a six person female dorm and it was cleaned daily, water pressure in the shower was awesome and the beds were super comfy. The bar crawl was so much fun and very affordable as well as the free sangria every night which was great to meet people! Would love to stay here again, felt very safe as a solo female traveller.

Super clean facilities and bed area. Staff were very kind and helpful. Other guests were friendly and wanting to make friends. Can’t beat the location. Our room was accessed straight from the street (with a key card) which worried me a bit about security, but wasn’t a big deal.

Worth every penny! Beds are comfortable and the staff are extremely nice.

it was honestly a great stay, it was very clean, beds were comfortable, the bathrooms had plenty of counter-space and room, the social events were super fun and well organized and i made some amazing new friends! 10/10 recommend

The hostel was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The lockers were spacious and the room I stayed in had a very nice en-suite bathroom. They had some social events—sangria night and bar crawls—but the layout of the space did not particularly encourage social engagement. They also hosted events entirely separate from the hostel in the lobby which was a bit much. But overall it was a nice stay!

Las habitaciones y la ubicación del hotel muy bien,pero los trabajadores… ¿Por qué tiene que entrar un hombre “ a comprobar si funciona la jabonera” llamando sin que dé tiempo a contestar y abriendo la puerta del tirón? Somos una habitación de 8 CHICAS, las cuales 3 estábamos en la habitación, una en el baño y otra semi desnuda, y el tío iba directo para el baño. Para colmo baja una compañera a decirlo en recepción le cuenta la situación y la de recepción se ha “reído” ...

I’ll try to separate my experience of the hostel from the experience of the people I shared my room with (loud, inconsiderate, messy). The location, space itself are quite new and nice. However, this is definitely a party hostel, which was definitely not what I was looking for in a space. If you’re above 25 and don’t want to be woken up at 4 am by teens. I recommend another spot.

Travelling for 6 months and this was the best hostel I’ve stayed in so far. Clean, great chilled out rooftop bar, fun sangria night, nice spacious bunks with curtains for privacy and really friendly and helpful staff, plus the location was perfect for nightlife, cool food spots and seeing the Madrid sites! 10/10! Sehr schönes Hostel, viele nette Meschen - Reisende und auch Mitarbeiter. Ich habe in einem Hochbett oben geschlafen, was mir persönlich nicht gut gefallen hat, da man eine sehr steile Leiter hoch musste, ohne gute Griffe und das Bett hat sehr gequietscht. In der Küche gibt es keinen Herd und keine Töpfe, nur Mikrowelle und Backofen, was ebenfalls ein Minuspunkt für mich war. Buena terraza

Slept wonderfully in the dorm beds. In the details, such as the little shelves and hooks, generous pillows and storage holds, one can literally feel the thought that went into the design of every detail of these cozy single dorm bed units. Also, charming staff throughout, be it the cleaning crew, the breakfast ladies up or the helpful receptionists. Last but not least, generous breakfast and fantastic location.

Fantastic hostel, amazing location. We really enjoyed the value, and being so close to the Plaza Major. Reception staff were friendly, breakfast was lovely - overall we had a great stay! Only downside was we couldn’t go to the rooftop bar because of a private event, and we were told to go back inside, which was the only let down.

Good: perfect location, right next to Plaza Mayor. The staff was very friendly, it’s great for solo travellers as it’s easy to socialise and the breakfast is really worth it! There’s also enough space to lock your luggage in the dorm and there are shelves at the bed. Clean property in a great location! 4 person rooms are really small so be aware of that but nothing crazy. Staff were kind and helpful.
