Multi Hostel Calvario

vendere un posto letto + acesso servizi senza specificare che il letto in questione non ha ne cuscino ne coperte ed i servizi non sono fruibili in quanto manca tutto dal sapone, asciugamani ecc... è una TRUFFA! Il costo finale è circa 20€ in + a notte.. La reception non è attiva negli orari indicati e contattare i numeri di 'emergenza' è completamente inutile, se rimani chiuso fuori ti attacchi .. I pochissimi metri dedicati a spazio comune odoravano di muffa ed acqua putrescente.

I traveled south east asia for 4 months and i can easily say that this is the worst hostel ever. I had to ask the staff everynight to turn on ac, without sucess. No fridge, no oven, lights that turn off every 15 seconds if you don't move violently. I was waken up by the staff without further notice because they needed to change the matress. Cherry on top, you can't leave your luggage for free after the check out. Better to sleep on the streets honestly.

i've been to quite a few hostels and this is mt first review ever. Don't go. just don't. sometimes it's better to pay more for better quality.

El peor lugar donde he podido hospedarme. El personal entra y sale de la habitación compartida, no tocan la puerta y están viendo que hacer en todo momento. Cero recomendable para mujeres viajeras, se siente super inseguro. La recepción no está en el mismo hostel, tienes que caminar cuesta arriba con todas las maletas.

worst experience ever. the hostel is random and sketchy af. so many weird and sketchy people there, you don’t see any staff around anytime, and when they were there they were rude. i would never stay in this place again and don’t recommend to anyone

The owner and employees all of them are not kind at all. And not only once but also all the time they aren't kind. And they get money even before check-in time not only after check-out time. They get money every service, every moment. So, They propose almost always on internet the non-refundable reservation type. In this case, if someone made reservation of several days, what a afraid hell !

I’ve waited half an hour in front of the hostel , no signs of entering , and no way to communicate with the hostel ! Until the manager ( who was just by luck showing two residents into their beds ) saw me and told that the check in should be done at the direction in another hostel . And at the end , it says on the app the check out can be done at 7 pm , only to be told the check out is at 11 am ! No communication whatsoever !

No dan sábanas, solo bajera y una manta (que olía mal) con el calor que hace en pleno julio en Madrid. Cuando la pides te dicen que se cobra aparte... Dicen que hay aire acondicionado pero no está en todas las habitaciones. Un trato malo en general.

Well the location, cleanless and beds were super nice , but the hostel is missing some things like basic kitchen things at least a little fridge and sink. Above that the recepcionist came in the room to open and close windows even tho he is not sleeping there and few people in the room were really uncomfortable and did not feel complitely good next to them, but for the money the object itself is really nice and for few nigths I would say its okay , more than that no😉

En general estuvo bien, pero para guardar las maletas te cobran 10 €, el personal de recepción no es muy amable y los olores se concentran mucho en las habitaciones.

The walls are well painted. The Chinees cleaner, looks frendly. But wether she gives the correct direction to the reception. I am not so sure! Something that is nice to know. Before your going there. It are 3 locations. 2 next to each other. And one in a other street. So you have to Checkin on Calle de Lavapies 19. The area seems to have nice places to go for a drink and eat.

It was great of you think only to sleep… We were 4 girls in a room with 6 men. The smell was awful. I think that a rappel to wash and leave the shower clean could help the hostel. Unfortunately, we didn’t spent a good time especially because of the smell which was really bad. I know that this is not the preoccupation of the personal from the hostel but I think that it needs more respect from the person who stay in it. The bathroom and shower could be clean everyday for self-respect.

Llegué un poco tarde y lo había escrito en un grupo donde nunca me respondieron, cuando llegué un indio que no sabía muy bien español ni inglés me cobró 10 euros más para poder hacer el Check-in, me pareció muy mal eso. Para irme pregunté a un empleado como hacer el check-out y tampoco hablaba ni inglés ni español y no supo decirme nada.

Bed bugs and roaches. Also, staff turned on the lights and started cleaning the dorms while myself and others were still sleeping. Felt like I wasn't supposed to be there.

Avisei meu voo chegava a 01 hrs Fiquei até 3 da manhã na porta até me deixarem entrar

The hostel was nice and clean most days. Felt safe and secure. Staff did not have very good english skills, but were nice to interact with anyways. Happy with everything, plain and simple hostel with everything you would need. Sadly a bit pricey for the standard, but no other major complains.

Reception is completely separate from the property (which they do not make clear at all), felt quite unsafe in my room as a solo female traveler (was mostly older men). Only one bathroom with a real door, overall definitely a budget hotel and central location but did not feel safe/clean during my stay.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location is really great, close to local coffee shops and restaurants, but also close enough to use public transport.

brilliant little hostel - receptionist really friendly and rooms/toilets were absolutely immaculate. location is in sol, great for partying, restaurants and vintage shopping. cannot recommend enough - we will be back soon!

good hostel

The lack of common space kind of sucked but it was clean for the most part. Some one also gave birth on the kitchen table while we were there. Gross!
