Archeo Hostel

Na descrição dos serviços estava incluso o café da manhã que em 7 dias que estive hospedado, nenhum dia foi servido e sim vendido outros produtos da loja de conveniência do Hostel. Enganacao.

I was satisfied with everything during my stay, cleanliness and security were excellent. It has respectable and professional staff, especially dear Zainab and Younes (and the lady whose name I forgot). I will come to your hostel again.Thank you very much for your hospitality

Personnel aux petits oignons et emplacement au top. Manque d’entretien de la structure et chambres vraiment trop petites (chambres privées), manque de confort en terme de coussins et couettes.

The staff were friendly, but I booked a 6 bedroom dorm that looked great in the photos, but when I arrived I was told there was a problem with their booking system and they only had an 8 person dorm for me. I accepted this as it was no big deal, but then I was shown downstairs to a dorm room in a basement that looked nothing like the modern and comfortable room shown in the photos. I’ve stayed in many hostels and this is the first time I’ve left any negative review.

They overbooked the room and sent me to a different hostel i did not choose and that was not as good in my opinion, did not give me the option of a refund but i did not have to pay for the other place.

The bed sheets were dirty and I woke up itchy. I was assigned an upper bunk despite having requested the lower bunk several days prior to my arrival. The tap in the bathroom sink on the third floor was missing, and the sink room was not leaking but POURING water, almost flooding the entire floor. Some guests kept the room door open while using bathrooms -- the staff should make it clear to the guests that this shouldn't be done in order to prioritize safety.

A bit disappointed. I booked 2 nights, I mentioned 2nd night I have to leave to aiport at 1am. I had to switch rooms next day .. and even after several.askings for my room to.rest before travel . I never got it. I had to hang out in cafe lobby. Which is nice atmosphere...very expensive drinks and food. But not ideal for a rest before long travel.

The good: locatiob, staff & café are great. The OK: price is a bit higher than avg & it is not exactly a social hostel, the activities & group chat were not busy. The poor: quality & cleanliness of the room was low. The mattress was hard, was pretty rough to fall asleep. The pillows were thin and frumpy. The room's lampshade fell apart, the mirror was terribly dirty, & there was hair & used contacts stuck to the floor. Even if they came to clean it I'm still questioning the cleaning standards...

Les chambres sont bien et propres, c'est moins le cas des sanitaires. Le staff n'est pas très sociable et arrangeant, je semblais déranger l'une d'elle qui était toujours sur son téléphone lorsque j'étais dans les parties communes et que j'avais une question. L'hostel reste sympa comparés à d'autres à Istanbul.

Hostel heeft een goed en mooi café, alleen zaten er niet vaak mensen in februari. Kamer met balkon was prima, fijn met eigen koelkast. Er werd na een paar dagen niet schoongemaakt maar nadat we dit hadden gevraagd was het erg schoon en netjes. Verder qua sociale activiteiten waren er niet veel dingen of werden verplaatst zonder enig bericht. We hadden geen idee wanneer er wel of niet iets plaatsvond. Locatie was in een saaie straat maar je kon wel gemakkelijk naar plekken lopen/met de tram.

Overall a great place to stay! Beds were comfy, showers ran hot, bathrooms were kept pretty well. Would recommend!

Lovely staff! I have to say that I did miss a comfy chill area and the bathrooms were also not that clean.

Fantastic hostel!! Location is great walking distance to multiple things and then an easy 5 minute walk to the metro station. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially the offer to get a taxi to the airport for a set fee (since otherwise I’ve heard that Ubers/taxis will try to scam you)

Tolle Unterkunft mit guter Lage, nah am Pier gelegen. Gute Anbindung mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, nette Atmosphäre im ganzen Hostel.

I had a great stay at Archeo Hostel in Istanbul. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, making it easy to meet other travelers. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were always helpful and kind. Its location is also very convenient, close to major attractions and public transport. Overall, a great value for money—I’d definitely stay here again!

Lovely location near public transit and ~15 minutes from sightseeing spots. Kind staff, good coffee and cute hostel cats. It’s definitely a relaxing space and good value for the money.

Good hostel overall. Particularly loved the very comfy bed and black out curtain, and great location. The light for my bed didn't work. Very noisy at night with traffic etc from the street. Overall vibe felt slightly odd with paying customers using the cafe in the day. I wasn't sure if it was OK for me to hang out down there for any length of time. The staff working there didn't seem too keen to engage beyond practicalities (they were helpful when needed), but maybe that's just me!

Le meilleur auberge de jeunesse d'Istanbul !!! Je reviendrai dès que l'occasion se présente et je conseille à tout le monde de faire une expérience là bas.

Great little hostel. Excellent location.

Me gustó la ubicación es centrica caminando. El personal muy amable, dispuestos a ayudar y me alegra que tenga tambien en cuenta en su personal alguien que habla español. Sus desayunos en especial los pancakes super ricos(sus precios algo elevados) pero me gusta en general es un ambiente calido.
