The worst hostel experience we’ve had in our 8 months of travelling. It’s very cliquey, if you’re not volunteering or staying for a long time, no one will even look you in the eye. The kitchen is genuinely a health hazard, it’s the worst kitchen I’ve ever experience. Because it’s so disgusting people keep their own stuff, so there is basically no shared pans, bowls, or cutlery for anyone else to use. Thankfully had an en suite so didn’t have to experience the horror of the share...

Genuinely the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed up, disgusting dirty grimy hostel. Wish I just slept in the woods

El hostel más sucio al que fui. Había cucarachas en el cuarto, la cocina era tan asquerosa que no la pudimos usar. Olor feo en todos lados.

Unfortunately, cleanliness is completely lacking in this hostel. The kitchen was extremely dirty every single day. There was no clean cutlery available, dirty pans were piled up in the sink, and the trash bins were overflowing. The refrigerators were moldy and there was no organization at all. On top of that, there were cockroaches in the kitchen. The Wi-Fi in the room was very poor and only one person in the bunk bed had access to a power outlet

The room was so hot that we couldnt sleep Im not even that fussed if it particularly clean but this place was very very poor Staff were friendly but would not reccomend

The bar blasted music so loud until after 12 in the night, that the beds were literally shaking. Nothing could drown it out, not even noice cancelling headphones with my own music and we all in the room wanted to sleep, some had to work early the next morning. Also, we were in a kind of tent that did not even have a zipper to close it with. Therefore, there were many mosquitoes and bush turkeys in the room. Also only two sockets for 8 people. I told the staff but did not get an answer.

Kitchen was absolutely filthy, loads of fruit flies around the food and rubbish and the pots/pans were nearly unusable. Bathrooms not much cleaner. The tipi tent bedroom was comfortable and clean and the outdoor area was nice but for the price you pay the facilities just aren’t up to scratch.

Awful hostel, proper hippie druggie vibes. Reeks, disgusting kitchen, rooms are bad.

Great vibe! Social, good facilities, spacious rooms. Staff were really friendly and happy to help

Good hostel

We stayed in the pentagon. We would not reccomend, the tent zipper did not close or zip at all, not clean and we would wake up to everything wet the next morning even if we hung stuff up. The kitchen was quite nasty. The staff however were very kind and friendly we loved them all.

Really enjoyed my time, met many people

Me and my friends stayed in arts factory for 4 nights in one of the tents we were skeptical at first but we absolutely loved it, the vibe is unmatched everyone is very friendly.You get what you pay for, it was nice having a pool on the site and we loved the hammocks.There is a bar attached to the hostel where they host events which we really enjoyed, only thing I will say is that the kitchen was so gross worst one i’ve seen of a hostel so far, felt very unhygienic and there was never any cutle...

Nice and fun place to stay. Nice and spacious location with a generally good vibe. Very nice and helpful staff and rooms being cleaned daily. Kitchen was also pretty good. Can definitely recommend the talent night on Monday. Would come back again if I’m in Byron Bay!

This hostel has a really chill, social vibe that makes it easy to meet people. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the common areas are great for hanging out.

This place was everything! Spend more than 1 night and go for a cool show at the bar next door

Estuvimos más de 1hora para hacer el check in, esperando a la chica que nos iba a enseñar la habitación y las instalaciones. Dormíamos 2 noches, 2 personas, después de la primera noche nos dicen que mi compañera se tiene que ir a dormir a otro dormitorio porque el staff que hizo el check in se equivocó y no la apuntó bien. Este proceso duró 3 horas. Una verguenza. El staff no da a basto, la recepcion estaba colapsada y la amabilidad… bastante deficiente.

Les commentaires déjà postés permettent de bien comprendre la vibe de l’endroit, c’est assez hippie (positivement !!), et très artistiques. Les personnes fréquentant l’auberge sont complètement à l’origine de l’atmosphère qui s’en dégage. On a adoré mais il faut penser que ça ne peut sûrement pas plaire à tout le monde

absolutely best hostel in byron! had to extend my stay 3 times cause i couldn’t leave !! if you feel the vibe you’ll have the best time of your life:)

Average stay to be honest. Room was grim, cobwebs , dead flies, old food , mess everywhere which was from people staying for a long time. Only bit of cleaning was a mop here and there. Bathroom attached to the room wasn’t the nicest either. Very social hostel though, depending on your vibe, kind staff, wonderful location and locks on room doors were very secure too. I didn’t have a bad experience here but wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness of the place.

The Atmosphere is great. I really enjoyed my stay! There’s a cute little café with such delicious coffee and snacks :)) I definitely recommend this hostel!

Vibey hostel, very social, good vibes

The vibe is so nice, everyones relaxed and there is a lot of space to hang out! The Café serves the best and cheapest flat white! Even though the kitchen is not the best, I would always return!

Good vibe at the hostel but no air conditioning was a killer in those 26°C nights. A bit of a walk out from anything in Byron but for the price you can’t complain
