BEDBUGS!!! I found many classic marks of bedbugs in the private room I was given, both on sheets and the pillow. I requested another room (which was given after lots of pushback and gaslighting), and that room also had multiple clear marks! 호텔로 옮기고 싶을 정도로 최악이었어요. 방에 들어가자 마자 너무 심한 방향제? 섬유유연제? 암튼 몸에 안좋은 냄새가 진동을 하고 환기를 시키자니 방충망이 아예 없어서 하루밤 사이에 10방 넘게 물리고 잠도 거의 못잤어요 프론트에 말하니 직원이 방에 스프레이 뿌려주겠다고 기다리라했는데 결국 아무도 안옴.
It was so bad that I wanted to move it to the hotel. as soon as I entered the room, too strong orientation? fibrous lubricant? by the way, the body smells bad and I want to vibrate and ventilate it, so I have no insect net at all, so I have had over 10 bites in one night and hardly slept.
Unsatisfied 🆘🆘🆘 Cleaning was awful!!! The bathroom was dirty since we came and there was a pants left there from ages ago! No one changes the trash! It was exploding! Worst part is that once we came back to room and the door was left open🤯and when we told the staff they said Ops must’ve been cleaning ladies!!! Nos robaron 200€ y 1.000 pesos mexicanos que dejamos en nuestras carteras dentro de la habitación. Lo reclamamos y no se responsabilizaron. Tenemos certeza de que el dinero ha desaparecido durante nuestra estancia en Selina y que nunca lo sacamos de la habitación. Es preocupante que un hotel que de apariencia garantiza seguridad, deje tanto que desear. Desde luego no solo no repetiremos, sino que dejaremos saber nuestra experiencia a familiares y amigos. Para nosotras es un NO rotundo.
We were robbed of 200€ and 1000 Mexican pesos which we left in our wallets inside the room. We claimed it and they didn't take responsibility. We are sure that the money disappeared during our stay in Selina and we never took it out of the room. It is worrying that a hotel that apparently guarantees security, leaves much to be desired. Of course not only will we not repeat, but we will let our family and friends know our experience. For us it is a resounding NO.
This place looks like more hotel and hostel. Very boring and not much to do. If you’re social person avoid this place
Tellement désolant de payer pour aller dans cette hostel. J’ai fait plusieurs endroits dans ma vie, celui-ci sentait la moisissure. La chambre n’avait rien à voir avec les photos affichées sur le site. Pleins de militaires avec des fusils dans les mains. Sommes nous protégés dans ce lieu où à risque, c’était mon questionnement. So sad to pay to go to this hostel. I've been to several places in my life, this one smelled of mold. The room had nothing to do with the photos posted on the site. Full of soldiers with guns in their hands. Somebody protected us in this place where risk was my question. No service, I asked for towels they refused, I asked for an extra blanket since it was just a sheet and we were also refused.

Water was missing in the establishment 4 times during our stay, no hot water or almost, no drinking water, no pool no utensils in the community kitchen, stove or gas stove not working, 1 refrigerator out of 2 that works so the one that runs was overflowing, bar and restaurant closed, the army that took up a lot of space, no air conditioning controls, I do not recommend this establishment to anyone..... staff party with a lot of noise, not taken my host's deposit...wordword
The bedsheets were dirty with stains on them. The shower and floor did not look very clean either. The AC in our room was stuck on a setting that was too cold, and the staff were not able to change it. It made it very hard to sleep. The general look of the room was also very poor for the money we paid for this.
Pool was still under construction which is no problem however they should have warned of that otherwise we would not have stayed here. Also had to ask 3 times for the air con in which they eventually gave us the remote. Overall atmosphere lacked.
Klimaanlage in der obersten Etage war kaputt, der Pool wird gerade repariert, Betten waren dreckig, Anlage sehr dunkel und Publikum etwas suspekt... fürhöchstens eine Zwischenubernachtung in Ordnung, aber nicht für längere Aufenthalte.
The air conditioning in the top floor was broken, the pool is being repaired, the beds were dirty, the floor is very dark and the audience is a bit suspicious... fürhöchstens eine Zwischenubernachtung in Ordnung, but not for longer stays.

Honestly felt super unsafe and really did not like the vibe of this hostel. Safety was a big concern as man was let into our room late on Saturday night. He didn’t have any bags and turned up completely drunk, so clearly just needed a room for the night after partying. The lockers were too small for our bags and the man stole clothing items from our beds while we were in the shower. Would not recommend for safety or atmosphere, felt very stale and uninviting - not good vibes!

Friendly and nice staff at the front desk. The WiFi didn’t reach our room which was a little bit annoying and the lockers provided were a little bit small. Clean bathroom and shower. Pool is nice and the hostel is close to the beach.
Maravilloso, sin duda la mejor elección que pude hacer. En general todo fue maravilloso, pero quiero destacar el servicio y la cordialidad de pilar en la recepción. Fui para mi cumpleaños y creo que Pilar y Yess me hicieron que no sintiera la ausencia de mi familia en un día tan especial, Gratitud infinita. 🤍
Wonderful, undoubtedly the best choice I could make. in general everything was wonderful, but I want to highlight the service and the cordiality of pilar at the reception. i went for my birthday and i think pilar and yess made me not feel the absence of my family on such a special day, infinite gratitude.
I stayed at Selina Nilu in Cancún and absolutely loved the location—walking distance to great clubs, stunning beaches, a huge supermarket, souvenir shops, and easy airport and local buses. My lagoon-facing room was spacious, bright, and airy. There’s a large pool, a lively bar/restaurant, and excellent food. Daily activities like yoga, karaoke, games, and movie nights create a fun, social atmosphere. Weekend music is loud, so bring earplugs. Great value and I’d happily stay again!
Die Bilder sind irreführend, denn das Hostel ist komplett heruntergekommen. Die Stimmung war immer weird und das Personal ist sehr unfreundlich. Wir waren zuerst im Dorm, der überall geschimmelt und gestunken hat. Danach hatten wir ein privates Zimmer, wo das Bett genauso groß wie der Raum selbst war. Alles in allem war es kein schöner Aufenthalt.
The pictures are irrelevant because the hostel has completely collapsed. The atmosphere was always strange and the staff is very unfriendly. We were first in the dorm, which was everywhere moldy and smelled. Then we had a private room, where the bed was as big as the room itself. All in all it was not a nice stay.
Overall it was alright, just stayed for one day. But the people sleeping above me were heavily jumping and partying at 02:00. Its like a party place which I just really dislike and its too close to the rest of the clubs which makes it super noisy. Slept above the AC and got sick!

Muy buena locación, instalaciones y área comunes amplias y limpias , Jardines verdes, bebidas y alimentos completos . El personal tiene un trato increíble!! El ambiente del hostal fantástico! . En definitiva mis amigos y yo si regresaremos . :)
Very good location, spacious and clean facilities and common area, green gardens, drinks and complete food . the staff has an incredible treatment!! the hostel atmosphere is fantastic! . definitely my friends and i will return .:)

It is great! I was only going to stay a couple of nights and then hop around but it was very relaxing, huge community kitchen with enough storage for all guest, large pool to do laps, beautiful view and vibes, cinema was nice and only I used it- but very helpful and kind staff. Location is amazing, a block from the supermarket and really short walk to the beach. Very happy and would recommend
Expect a resort type feel. The property is at the lagoon, while being just a 5 mins walk from the beach . The bus line 1 &2 and the ado stop is just 2-3 mins away . Restaurants, shops close by . Staff is friendly, the facility has good amenities .
The site is really big and the pool is cool but it was very quiet and not much atmosphere. Room was nice but the shared bathroom didn’t get cleaned every day so ran out of toilet roll and was a little dirty. Otherwise a good place to stay.

So the whole pool/common area is amazing, the location and front office & maintenance staff aswell. The toilet overflowed and flooded the dorm so I had to change dorms but everything was handled really good. Unfortunately the hostel doesnt have events and isnt social at all. Its more of a resort vibe, but I just went to other hostels to socialize so its okay
It was a beautiful stay. The rooms were clean, but the bathrooms were dirty. Also, we got bit up by mosquitos in our sleep which was why we didn’t stay another night.
