- Thật sự vô cùng tệ, khách sạn này không thể nào đạt tiêu chuẩn 4 sao được. Phòng ốc tệ, nhân viên tệ, service tệ. Phòng thì gián bay lổn nhổn, xuống complaint với lễ tân thậm chí còn ko xin lỗi mà hỏi thế à. Đến khi tôi nói lại thì mới xin lỗi, ks 3 sao service cũng ko tệ thế này. Đêm qua phòng em mình điều hoà không mát, nó gọi xuống lễ tân nhờ giúp thì bảo là " chị cứ bấm mấy nút ơt dưới" tệ vô cùng. Chả hiểu nổi nhân viên ở đây được training như nào??? cảm giác như khách sạn gia đình vậy! Ko bao giờ quay lại cái ksan này, đi du lịch mất tiền mà rước bực vào người The rooms are awful, the staff are awful, and the service is awful. There were cockroaches crawling all over the room. When I went to complain at the front desk, they didn’t even apologize—instead, they just said, “Oh really?” Only after I pushed back did they offer an apology. Even 3-star hotels don’t have service this bad. Last night, the air conditioner in my sibling’s room wasn’t working properly. When they called the front desk for help, the response was: “Just press some of the buttons below.” Completely unhelpful and unacceptable. I honestly have no idea how the staff here are trained—feels more like a family-run guesthouse than a proper hotel. Never coming back to this place again. Traveling should be enjoyable, not an experience that wastes your money and ruins your mood.

- Die gesamte Bucht unmittelbar vor dem Hotel und der gesamten Cat Ba Town ist eine kilomatergrosse Baustelle. Die gesamte Bucht wird mit Sand aufgeschwemmt und verbaut. ca. 30 Grossrammen und Großbohrmaschinen arbeiten Tag und Nacht zeitweilig durchgehend auch an Weihnachten. Von der Bucht ist nichts mehr übrig! Alle Bilder und Videos bei Googlemaps und anderen Bewertungsportalen gehören der Vergangenheit an. bei booking.com wird vom Hotel Paradise auf diese Baustelle und Veränderungen der Bucht nicht hingewiesen! Das Hotel hat kein Restaurant und das Frühstück wird deshalb in einem ungemütlichen Multimedia-Meetingsaal mit engster Bestuhlung und Tischen eingenommen. Unangenehme Atmosphäre beim Frühstück. Das Frühstück hat kaum Auswahl und ist sehr schlecht, das bisher schlechteste Frühstück auf unserer Reise. Jeden Tag das gleiche und wird schleppend aufgefüllt oder gar nicht.Jeden Tag wird weniger bereit gestellt Pancakes während 6 Tagen nur 2 mal ins Buffet gestellt!Der Koch ist sehr unfreundlich. Das Hotel ist sehr geizig. Wir empfehlen dieses Hotel nicht. --

+ The view from the room and rooftop swimming pool was very nice. The room is clean.

- I had the absolute worse sleep at this hotel. There is a thermostat in the room to control the temperature. It keeps defaulting back to 31 degrees Celsius every hour or so despite us setting it much lower multiple times. As a result, we kept waking up from the temperature fluctuations. When we complained about it in the morning, we were told someone would come to check, but noone came. When I complained at the desk when checking out, I was simply asked to write down my email and phone number so that someone would follow up. It has now been 13 hours and I have yet to hear back. In addition, the clerk at the desk charged me extra money on my credit card in error and ended up refunding me in Vietnamese Dong cash. They are filling the waterfront in front of the hotel with sand to extend the land. The view is affected since the water is much farther away. There is no hand soap and the spout for the shampoo was broken. The bedside lights did not turn on.

- No saben hablar inglés, las habitaciones interiores dan al hall de los ascensores, y el personal es un desastre. Aparte de que la zona está muerta y no tiene absolutamente nada de interés

- I was charged twice for my stay. I have complained to the hotel and booking.com and have not received a solution in 10 days despite being told I would get answers in 48 hours

- The staff were exceptionally rude, helpful, and cheated us on an included breakfast. Not enough water or toilet paper, had to wait hours for it. Staff were very unhelpful organising tours, just handed pamphlet out.

- My room had cockroaches and ants both in the bathroom and the room. The cleanliness is below subpar, something I would expect at a 1 or 2 star. They also give you only one room key which is a huge inconvenience if there’s 1+ in a room. The breakfast was very average as well.

+ Das Hotel war sehr sauber, gut gelegen und rundum perfekt für unseren Aufenthalt. Von der Poolbar kann man den Sonnenuntergang hervorragend beobachten. Unbedingt hierhin gehen.

- Bijna alles beviel. Ontbijt kon beter.

- Eigenlijk beviel alles. Ruim ontbij, maar als we dan toch iets moeten noemen misten we bij het ontbijt de yoghurt.

+ Everything was great! The room was very clean, and the breakfast buffet was delicious and had a good variety. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to Dat, who was incredibly helpful and enthusiastic — he provided us with lots of useful information about Cat Ba and made our stay even more enjoyable. We really appreciated his support!

+ Paid the higher price for the bay views but were surprised to find all of the construction underway obscuring any view, would have been nice to have been aware of this prior as paying the premium for a view you don’t get isn’t worth it here. Otherwise the hotel is great and gym is cool on the top floor.

- Die bucht vor dem Hotel wurde aufgeschüttet und darauf befindet sich jetzt eine gigantische Baustelle, auf der rund um die Uhr gearbeitet wird. Nie wieder gehe ich an diesen Ort.
