Backpackers Imperial Hotel

I have to say that this is the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. It smells weird everywhere, musty and sweaty. The windows on the ground floor can't be closed, so anyone could get in at any time. The toilets are poorly equipped and the toilet brushes are disgusting, so no one uses them. Yes, the people are nice, but that doesn't make the hostel any better. I'm just glad I didn't catch any bedbugs there. Oh, and sometimes the hot water doesn't work in the showers.

stained bed sheets and covers. years old carpets, mattress and bed frame. years old paints and furniture. bed bugs are present. can’t reach phone outside their business hours.

Just dont, I have traveled cheap and light globally - this place was a dive. More a homeless hostel than a backpackers. No bed bug bites so far, I guess it's two stars.

You get what you pay for but Jesus Christ 😂 had to bail on a private room a few hours after checking in. Whole room reeked of roach or bed bug spray, I was put in the staff quarters with a guy who was waking around having a perpetual coughing fit (hello covid) Another dude was cooking stinky tofu in the kitchen, the stench I cannot put into words. Whole place was just filthy and grim af. Exhaust every other option before considering staying here it’s genuinely the dingiest joint I’ve ever set foot in worldwide.
