+ The location was good enough. Many men with guns as security in the neighborhood if that's your kind of thing;) not many things to do more than eating and bars. Not very tourist friendly.

- The security was broken, and I'm pretty sure they rented to locals for the long term. Pics are very out of date and misleading. Man at front was super shady 😎 . It's an old house converted, and it had thin walls and doors with codes on the doors, no keys. Pets in the hostel roaming free, large dog in the kitchen. Just wasn't my vibe. For that price you can get a better hotel room and treat yourself.to.dinner. wouldn't recommend ****

- The booking.com provided the free cancellation option for my booking on the same day. I asked the reception lady in the hostel to cancel my booking and to return the money. She was very disrespectful and unfriendly. She denied to make a 100 percent return and she told that she will withdraw lots of commissions from the money that I paid. So basically I was forced to stay in the hostel. On the next day, I moved to much better and cheaper place nearby. The hostel is way too much overpriced. You can find much better amenities around for twice as less price. The hostel is not so awful, but it is not good either. Once you get in the hostel they ask you to pay additional price for everything - towels etc. I'm surprised that they do not charge for using the toilet. Beds are very narrow and small. There is no hot water in the shower. The kitchen is dirty and messy. Internet doesn't work all the time, the connection often breaks down. Don't rely on it, bring your 4G phone because videos and fast traffic are not working there. There is a huge hole between the narrow bed and the wall, so your stuff will fall down to the floor or to the neighbor downstairs.

+ Bueno el hostal no cuenta con una recepcionista capacitada , la recepcionista es la chica que hace el aseo no tiene estudios no habla inglés es mala educada grosera y se trata de tu a tu con los clientes sin respeto ,al parecer el hostal no cuenta con ingresos para contratar una recepcionista capacita educada y estudiada , lo siguiente es que la dueña o no se la administradora pasa todo el tiempo allí como que no tiene trabajado es muy incómodo que esté todo el tiempo en el hostal detrás de las chicas del aseo para que le diga algo a los huéspedes ,que ala administradora no le gustó que hizo un huésped es muy acosador incómodo .. la recepcionista fue muy grosera así que no recomiendo este hostal y no es tan cómodo

- Se va el afua mientras te bañas y despues sale fria y puedes quedarte esperando que vuelva el agua o saliendo fria si abren cualquier llave, Ademas te inventan cosas como que usaste vasoa que no on tuyos o trastes de loza si estas en lo tuyo y no entras en compincheria, ademas organizan entre voluntarios salidas ecologicas donde te roban tus cosas celular ETC, he viajado bastante hasta trabaje un tiempo de seguridad en un hostal y siempre que pasan esas cosas hay personas involucradas y los dueños o se lucran de eso o aproposito saben y no les importa, Como sea no me gusto eso ni que me usaran para decir que era yo quien dejaba trstes sucios porque me veian en la mia cuando nisiquiera tomo agua de la llave uso solo botellas y ni agua uso para lavarme los dientes,

- Second time I stayed at Macondo. The first time they said they were having problems with hot water and I didn't even complain. Now I come back and discover that the shower never worked. In other words, if the problem is permanent, they need to include in the description that there is no hot shower. Bogotá is very cold. The description of the room also does not say that it is next to the kitchen and that they do not respect the opening hours, which makes it impossible to sleep. Just write everything down correctly and the guest can decide whether they want to book or not. If it was on Airbnb, they would have already refunded my money that was thrown in the trash, onde i left tô get some sleep and hot shoewer

+ Frendly and very helpful staff. The location is very good, the area is safe.

- A lot of noise. They don't respect the silent time 23:00-07:00. Everything you can hear from the room. the door of the double room is for nothing. Also the window is not closing completley, and you can hear everithing from outside.

+ La ubicación era excelente, en una zona segura, el hostel en sí es muy bonito, tiene todo lo necesario incluyendo grandes lockers donde podía caber una maleta grande y una pequeña! Pero lo mejor ha sido el excelente trato recibido por parte de todos los chicos de recepción, una gran predisposición para ayudar en todo lo que necesitas y con una sonrisa. He elegido repetir incluso mi estadía aqui y fue una excelente decision. Todo SUPER.

- Si bien el desayuno esta incluido, debes cocinartelo tu. Para mi no fué un problema, pero es algo a tener en cuenta

+ Najbolji hostel u kojem sam ikad bila, od atmosfere preko osoblja pa sve do udobnosti... Kreveti-kao da spavas na oblaku, atmosfera je kao da si kod kuce. Svaki dan se dogadaju neke aktivnosti , a ljudi su tako topli i ugodni. Cetvrt sigurna, lijepa i puna barova i restorana. Savrsenoooo!!!!
