Great hostel, super social and nightly events. The fire show was amazing! The bedrooms were okay, I did have bed bugs which returned daily despite them spraying down the area when asked. The bathrooms were clean enough.

Bed bug infestation. Multiple bites after the first night and blood stains on the sheets. Staff initially denied the issue and handled it negligently. Clear hygiene and health risk. Avoid.

I found bed bug in my bed.. I had to stayed one night and leave to an other hostel on the morning. When I noticed the bedbug to the girl at the reception on the morning she just say « oh I am sorry » and nothing else.

Not very clean or comfy. Bathroom is in the room which is very annoying. Onederz next door is much better. My friend found a few bed bugs, I had none.

Great location and super friendly stuff! Unfortunately I found bedbugs in my bed. But after that I got a private room which I think was really nice!

I absolutely loved my stay here! The staff and location of this place was amazing, everyone was so nice, such clean rooms, and when I had issues with my boat the staff without hesitation helped me immediately which left me with such a positive light on this hostel. Dispite the recent reviews of bed bugs, In my 3 days here I found the rooms very clean with none in sight so please don’t let this effect your stay I loved it xxx

J’ai le regret de mettre une telle note car le lieu est super et le personnel très gentil mais les chambres sont malheureusement infectées de punaises de lit. Je suis recouverte de boutons sur les jambes et les filles de ma chambre aussi. Ils m’ont remboursée en me demandant d’être discrète mais je ne souhaite cette situation à personne donc je préfère prévenir.

Hostel propre et personnel super sympa mais j’ai eu des punaises de lit la bas, et je ne suis pas la seule après avoir parlé à d’autres backpackers Faites attention !

Pour la première fois, j’ai été vraiment déçue par le One Derz. Nous avions réservé dans le dortoir féminin pour 4 nuits, et au bout du deuxième jour, nous constatons que les femmes de ménage sont en train de tout changer : draps, rideaux et même les lits. Nous avons très vite compris pourquoi : il y avait des punaises de lit dans le dortoir, nous avons été piquées. Nous avons signaler le problème à la réception, qui voulait nous faire croire que c’étaient des moustiques pour qu’au final, le personnel admette qu’ils avaient déjà rencontré ce problème, mais qu’ils ne pouvaient rien y faire car « c’est la saison des pluies ». Ils nous ont proposé soit d’annuler la dernière nuit (mais impossible de loger dans un autre hébergement à proximité car c’était du last minute) ou alors d’aller dans une chambre privée mais avec seulement un lit deux places pour 3. J’ai pourtant l’habitude de réserver dans les One Derz, mais là je suis vraiment très déçue de la qualité du service.

Terrible experience, avoid this place. We found bed bugs in our dorm beds, and the staff clearly knew about the problem but acted like it was normal during rainy season. They refused to refund all our nights and only offered one night back or another room, which we had to share, 3 people in 1 little bed for 2, even though other rooms were available online. We also paid a towel deposit for 4 but got a receipt for only 2, so they kept part of our money. Staff was rude and unhelpful throughout. No compensation, no responsibility. Absolutely not recommended!

Bed bugs, hostel didn’t even apologise and refused to give us somewhere else to stay. Food was awful- mayonnaise had mould in it! And the other food was microwaved. Awful experience will not be back

Pros: good location, clean rooms, can pay with card, good facilities Cons: bad wifi, the food here is not good, found some small bugs in my bed (not bed bugs)

The men’s shower had water pressure that was too low to shower properly, and the showers were located in the same cabin as the toilet. I also found bedbugs in my bed. The bed sheets felt more like couch covers than proper bedding, and the mattress was saggy and worn out. The food and breakfast were overpriced. The only positive was the staff, who were friendly and helpful.

VORSICHT BETTWANZEN! Der Frauenschlafsaal hatte Bettwanzen und als ich es den Mitarbeitern sagte haben sie das Bett nichtmal kontrolliert und meinten es wären bloß Mückenstiche. Ich wollte ihnen erst glauben aber es kam jede Nacht mehr Bisse dazu und ich hatte mehr als 50 Bisse an meinen Beinen. Außerdem bin ich allergisch gegen Mücken und weiß, dass die Mückenstiche bei mir anders aussehen würden! Da sie das Bett nichtmal gecheckt haben, wirkt es so als würde es sie garnicht interessieren!

J’ai malheureusement été dans un lit, je pense, infesté de punaises de lit… je pensais que c’était des moustiques au début mais je me suis retrouvée recouverte de piqures sur tout le corps et surtout la nuit !! Malgré l’emplacement, je suis très déçue, cela a complètement gâchée la fin de mon séjour lorsque je m’en suis rendue compte. Si vous voulez du calme, ne venez pas ici. Bonne ambiance mais de la musique et du bruit jusqu’à minimum minuit. Les femmes de ménages viennent à minuit laver les salles de bain dans les dortoirs ! Des odeurs des toilettes pas agréables non plus
