Hostal Edreira

You get what you pay for. It’s an acceptable place to stay in a central location, but has the vibe of a hotel that’s seen better days. It was probably nice before the 80s, but now it’s a bit run down and somber. The room was nice enough, if a bit dark. The small window opened into a sad corner where you had to strain to see the sky. There was no street noise, but you could hear everything in the hallway. It was fine for a couple nights but I wouldn’t return unless it was the only option

Clean. Centrally located. Nice staff. It is up three flights of stairs. That might be an issue for some. Very pleased overall. I would stay here again.

My room was cozy and clean. The hotel is well located for museums and other attractions, as well as walking distance to the AirPort Express. It is close to many nice restaurants and coffee shops. The staff is nice and helpful.

Great place!! This is more like a Boutique Hotel rather than a hostel but that’s ok. The location itself is great very close to atocha train station and lots of places around to eat and shop. The people running it are awesome always very helpful and check in was fast! The decor might seem a bit outdated but the place is very clean, the bathrooms are always clean it’s a nice place. It’s good they provide towels and some shampoo/body wash, unlike other chain hostels. I recommend this pla...

Clean rooms in an excellent (2nd floor) location near Anton Martin metro stop. The shared bathroom was very clean. The room was cleaned daily & new towels provided. The staff were friendly and helpful. They stored my bag on my final day as I had an evening departure. There was a working coffee/snack machine available. The plumbing was sometimes loud & I could hear people in adjacent rooms in the evening. The hostal was very quiet at night & I slept well. Recommend. I’ll stay ...

I stayed at Hostal Edreira in a private room/bathroom for a short 3-day vacation in Madrid and had a great experience: centrally located to so many things, very clean and tidy in a beautiful old building, and easy to get to from the airport. My room was small and simple but had everything I needed, especially the A/C on the hot summer days. And there was even daily housekeeping, which I wasn't expecting. All for a great and affordable price! I would definitely stay again!
