Awon Mirissa

room smelt, bedding covered in stains and ripped. water pressure for shower was awful. could hear people in the rooms next door at night any momove they would make. staff were rude and tried to tell me the taxi booked to the airport wasnt for me. not allowed to throw tissue paper down the toilet, which is normal but didnt give a single bin in the room to throw it away? would mot recommend

Bed sheets had mud stains and a blood stain, Mosquito net was dirty, pillows and bed was damp. We checked out shortly after our arrival and moved to a different accommodation. Would not recommend.

The room is spacious, but the bathroom smelled very bad so you constantly had to make sure the door was closed, otherwise the whole room would smell. Bathroom wasn’t very clean and the towels smelled musty, and pilled like crazy. The guy was friendly but barely spoke english and sat outside all day on his phone playing videos and calling at an outrageously loud volume, which wasn’t very relaxing. He also played music super loud at 7 AM. Electricity went out for a long time and we got no info...

Friendly staff, comfy bed but lots of bugs in the room and not great shower head. Organised transport for us, worked hard to make a good breakfast

Very nice place to stay, nice and quiet and only 10 minutes walk from the beach. The owner is a great guy! Super friendly and he helped us wherever he could. After we decided to stay an extra day and he was actually fully booked he let us stay in the room he was renovating (wich was totally ok), and saves our drying clothes from a little rain shower while we were away 🦸‍♂️ The garden part looks a little different than the photo's but don't let that change your mind! you will love your s...

The hostel itself was great and the host was helpful and pleasant, however issues came with the cleanliness of the room. There were two beds in our room, one was covered in ants whilst the other had dirty bedsheets and several hairs. The bathroom was fine besides the fact there was a spiders next in the corner.

There was a minor issue, but it was resolved immediately, which shows that the hosts are very dedicated to making everything perfect. Breakfast was delicious and everyone was very friendly. It's not far from the beach.

De familie is ontzettend gastvrij en erg vriendelijk, waardoor je je meteen welkom voelt.De kamer was luxe, schoon en voorzien van een fijne airco, wat erg prettig was. Daarnaast ligt het verblijf op loopafstand van het strand en gezellige restaurantjes, ideaal dus qua locatie.Ik zou deze plek zeker aanbevelen en kom hier graag nog eens terug!

Friendly and helpful owners, close to everything, quiet, clean and comfortable. Ended up staying here a week because I fell sick, couldn’t have asked for more! Would definitely stay here again

Really good Hostel! I book only one night but finally I extend few nights more The rooms are good, bathrooms also and really clean, there is a beautiful garden and space for chill The personal is really nice and helpful And the location is nice because close to the beach and all the shops So really nice place

Je suis arrivée à Colombo, un driver est venu me chercher, super et très arrangeant. Thusath et sa famille sont très accueillants, je me suis sentie comme à la maison. Les chambres sont superbes, propres, avec petit balcon au calme dans les arbres. Je recommande

Great hostel, staff were very helpful and the location is perfect. The rooms are also huge and bathroom nice and clean.

The rooms are clean and comfy. The stuff helps every time perfectly. New towels, some extra wishes are no problem. Breakfast is fantastic and quick. Thank you for the good service and the comfortable stay!

Peaceful place and kind owner We had a great place at Awon hotel . So beautiful and many flowers everywhere .Morning Refreshing look outside with balcony . Srilankan breakfast is very tasty and delicious.Room is a very comfortable vig bed.hot shower shampoo , serwer jel,conditioner everything has a bathroom. Very close to the beach and bar ,restaurant ,Atm also near.we enjoyed and definitely came to Awon.

Perfect place near the beach Great place to stay in mirissa.such a lovely staff run hotel .The rooms are very clean and comfortable . Less than 5 minutes away from the beach and 1 minute main road.we had a good breakfast .fast Wifi in room.Definitely recommend Awon enjoy your holiday ....

Awon is a really nice beautiful garden with a fresh air place . We stay in the balcony room. The night time garden has many different lights . Morning breakfast is really delicious.owner arrange whales watching trip.so thanks.we come back again Awon
