Angels’ Hostel

Worst hostel I’ve ever been to. It was disgustingly dirty, other guest were really rude, toilets are outside, atmosphere is not for travelers at all; it seems like people were living there, only good thing is the area. I would just recommend you to break the budget a little bit to go to a hotel.

Ik had een bed geboekt in een 12 bed dorm maar ze hebben me een bed in een 21 bed dorm gegeven. Daarnaast had deze dorm drie lagen aan bedden boven elkaar. Dat is niet erg comfortabel of fijn. Toen ik hierover klaagde gaven ze aan dat ze geen 12 bed dorm hebben en dat ik het hier maar mee moest doen. Ik heb toen geen extra service of vergoeding gekregen. Ik wil meer type

Doesn’t seem like they clean very often. The bathroom was very dirty and the toilets aren’t in the hostel. So you need to go outside with your key. Way too pricy for what it offers.

24 dorm room, not 12 as adverticed. Not realy backpackers, people who life there more or less. Also, it was cleanish, not super clean. Toilette is outside of the hostel.

This place is weird, they somehow cram 3 bunks with the top having no space and pipes to dodge when moving. The washroom is not in the hostel but in the public office building which is shared with others, meaning you have to take toilet paper with you when you go to the toilet. Didn’t have the best interactions with staff either, lockers are not in the room but in the luggage room.

watch out for weekend price hikes

Feels like something's fishy with the rating, all the written reviews give it ~5 but it had a 9.4! Ridiculously packed 3 stories bunk beds, toilets are outside the hostel and with no toilet paper, wifi doesn't work at all, not a single window in the hostel, not very clean and just sad vibes all around...much better options in the city.

It’s a hostel, don’t get your hopes up. I have never seen hostel beds stacked 3 high. The bathroom situation is weird because you have to go out into the mall and tap your key. I had to check out early and they would not refund any of my money for the extra 4 nights that I did not stay there. It’s not a terrible place, but they could do better for their customer.

There was a cockroach in my actual bed and another smaller bug the day before. There was dust in all corners and the overall vibe was just off. Also the room was freezing!

👎 bad internet, 3 floor bunk bed 👎, 👎 toilet. The only good thing is the location, the bathrooms are outside of the hostel and are disgusting, although the showers are good and clean. The internet was terrible, I couldn’t even charge a simple video, so the common areas are nice but without proper wifi is pointless. They have 3 floor bunk beds, I bearly could enter mine through a small space in between my bed and the ceiling. The reception closes at 12 pm, so if you arrive before that...

If you want a central location next to Ximen it’s a pretty good choice. Though the rooms are pretty dilapidated and could use proper cleaning and some air freshener

Toilets outside of the hostel is to be mentioned. I had the top bed on the bunk bed and my head was in the airco, maybe good to put some curtains.

War zentral gelegen, die Einrichtungen insb. der Küche waren dürftig.

Great hostel for the price, everything was clean and well taken care of. Mostly locals stay there from my experience, not a lot of foreigners.

Centrally located close to transportation, comfortable beds and comfortable beds

The location is great, For young people its was weird because the hostle with many old people so there is no social atmosphere. Its worse the money because its cheap

Really nice place, you see it in how many people you meet have been there more then once. Decent privacy in the beds, location in the heart of the city also great. Bathrooms and showers are ok, could be much worse.

The bathroom being outside in the hallway is really something that should be advertised. Very awkward for me as a woman to have to go out there in my pajamas and be confronted with a bunch of Taiwanese business men on their break. Also there is no space for baggage of any kind it was all shoved together and made it difficult for me to access my clothes to change.

Ist jetzt kein Hostel zum großartigen Socializing. War für 2 Nächte okay. Etwas billiger als die Konkurrenz.

Nicely located: close to the train/bus station. Showers and toilets quite far from the room. I was in a crowded room, with piles of 3 beds. Although I was in the 3rd one, the bed is easily accessible with some lateral stairs. The airco is a bit noisy but okish. Plugs and light for each bed. Staff friendly and helpful. Possibility to store luggage.

A localização é boa. O único ponto negativo é que o banheiro fica fora do hostel

Pros: Good location, friendly staff, decent facilities Cons: Top bunks do not have privacy curtains and have very poor lighting. Lots of children running around the hostel too for some reason.

watch out for weekend price hikes

Super helpful staff, loved the women only area (although I wish it would also be trans inclusive), the men I encountered there I wouldn’t have wanted to share a room with haha. The location is great, many nice places available on foot. Facility has huge fridge to store foods and drinks, a cooking pot, microwave and drinking water station as well as tableware to use! I was really pleasantly surprised and is so good value for money!! Makes up for the little old facilities in the shower area.

Bathroom shared with the mall, dirty showers, too much bed in a small room with no window and with really noisy stairs, no curtain on the top beds. For the price of the hotel, I was really disappointed but nice location.
