- sehr unsauber ich glaube es hatte keine putzfrau es war wirklich schlimm sehr schmutzig. auserdem war das hostel auf einem halben parkplatz und es hatte kein securitas.
The hostel has great potential but could really use some maintenance. There was hardly any water coning from the tabs.There was mould growing against the wall of my dorm, producing a funky smell and on a daily basis, sand/dust would trickle down from the ceiling onto my bed
+ We did not stay in this place at the end. In the reservation it was mentioned that they offered parking but when we get there the person at reception told us this is a mistake in booking and when I told them they need to find me a solution because we can not leave the car on the street since us they also said was not safe another very rude person came who claimed to be some manager to tell me that when they talk about parking they talk about the street. Lol! Really unpolite people with manners problems

I was overall very disappointed with my stay. • I booked this hostel to cool down in the outdoor pool, but when we arrived the pool we were informed it was closed for all of our 3 day stay for cleaning. We received no information about this before arrival nor any reimbursement! • The en-suite bathroom in our dorm was full of mosquitos. • Building works commenced at 7am with loud hammering. While the dorms looked decent, the double room was definitely overpriced for the service provided. The kitchen was poorly equipped, and the Wi-Fi was very slow. Air conditioning costs an additional $5, and they use an unfavorable exchange rate for converting euros to dollars.
Two bathrooms often without toilet paper, one had no running water. One night a bathroom was covered in 1in of water. Lots of flies. Jug for filtered water was always empty. Coffee never ready before 8am. Laundry service was a random door across the street with no sign/info, hostel doesn’t help organize laundry. Same clothes drying outside the entire 3 days we were there. There was a guy sleeping on the luggage bench in the reception area. Location is nice. Room had AC. Breakfast was fine but

- There was a very bad smell in the room, as well as mould against the walls. When I informed the staff about this, they told me they couldn't remove it because they didn't want to lose the revenue of a room by leaving it empty for a night to do a deep clean. I thought this was a weird excuse, especially since mould can be a health hazard. For most of my stay there was no to hardly any running water.

- I booked the property because it advertised air conditioning. However, I was informed that the A/C only operated from 9 pm to 9 am. The room was stuffy and uncomfortably hot before 9 pm. I suggested adjusting the operating hours to 6 pm to 6 am, but after consulting management, the suggestion was rejected due to the high cost of electricity in Nicaragua. Ironically, during the 9 pm to 9 am period, León’s outside temperature was quite pleasant—approximately the same as the A/C setting. As a result, the A/C was essentially useless. The real issue was that the room was unbearable before 9 pm because all the windows were closed in preparation for using the A/C. I left the property after just one night. Initially, I was told there were fine-print details on the Booking.com website about the A/C operating hours. However, I couldn’t find this information. When I asked the employee in charge to locate it, he claimed that Booking.com had failed to include it. I would appreciate it if Booking.com could address this issue and ensure accurate information is provided in the future.
Nice place but only 2 bathrooms for the dorms meant you were often queuing to use it (especially if 2 people were showering). Lack of comfortable social spaces and very little atmosphere.
Most basic beds ever in a big room. Small lockers. This place could be so much better! Only two showers/toilets for the whole place.

Un bel hostel relaxe. Je recommanderais certainement un séjour au poco a poco, vous ne regretterez pas.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Staff were really nice. Rooms and common areas were cleaned basically all day, there seemed to always be someone mopping or sweeping. Room had nice private beds. Kitchen was brilliant lots of equipment. I didn’t try to socialise much but I think if you crossed the road to the big poco y poco you’d make friends easily.
Staff here were so so lovely! The place was very clean and felt relaxed. More social across the road at the sister property, was a really good stay.

I had a really nice stay here. Wasn't too loud but had events across the road in the sister hostal almost every night which was perfect for a balance. The staff were the best, super friendly and always happy to help. Beds had curtains and a fan. Facilities clean and fridge/freezer well kept. Would certainly return.

+ Está bien ubicado, tiene piscina pero en el hotel que está enfrente. El aire acondicionado funciona solamente durante la noche pero es algo normal para el país.
I loved my stay here!!! Everything was clean, the staff was so friendly, and the vibes across the street were super chill but nice!

À part le bruit ayant eu une chambre sur la rue nous étions satisfait de notre passage . Le réceptionniste était très courtois et toujours de bonne humeur . Il nous a conseillé un restaurant très bon n conseil merci jeune homme . Cependant je n’ai pas retrouvé l’atmosphère des auberges d Brésil et dé l’Argentine. Les occupants disaient à peine bonjour et ne se communiquaient pas dommage .
+ Maybe my favourite hostel of Nicaragua. Amazing staff. Lovely clean smelling spacious room and great location Everything you need.
- The pillows are a bit bulky but I like a squishy pillow.
