Towel is not included in the booking price and I think you need to pay extra to get one. Some beds are literally on the floor while others above 2 metres in height. My bunk bed was on top and very high which was difficult to get in and out of and did not have any safety railings on the side so I had to be very careful not to fall out of bed while up there. Big safety concern. The bed curtains is a bit short and doesn't cover everything and is rather noisy upon moving it. The noise is immense at night with the open windows facing the main street, but if you close it, it's alright.

Got bitten by bed bugs and air-conditioner didn't always work

This was the worst. I have never been to a more bad place than this and I have used public bathrooms. One good thing about this was that I did not get bedbugs and the view is good. But it does not help this at all. I was supposed to stay for 4 nights, but left after 2, because I found everything of this after the first 24 hours: The place offers good wifi in every room. It was bad and no connection from time to time The phone was ringing from the lobby for 10 minutes at 23.30 and it annoyed me It was so much dust everywhere, small and thick, under the bed, in the ceiling, on the lamps, in the A.C unit The A.C unit sounded like it would break and fall The chairs in the lobby were cracked and would probably break if you would sit on them When I used the toilet, the seat would slide to the side and nearly brake The soap in the bathroom was empty, even after they cleaned it It was impossible to find the entry because it was on a small sign. Look around for 20 minutes to find it The lockers to store bags were broken. It was as easy as turning the lock to open it, even if you had a lock on or not And it was mold in the shower Would not wish my worst enemy a place here

There was bed bugs I complained to john the receptionist and he didn’t say a sorry or refund me the money. I jus had an awful nite I wanted to forget. Just extremely disappointed I had to scratch so much. What made me pissed off is they didn’t even care.

It was very nice and budget friendly experience, Since I was a solo traveler, don’t worry about the bedbugs. I am very scared of them but, my bed and totally the room did not have any. So don’t worry about the reviews. Just bring a locker with key because they will give you a place but the door is open and make you to buy a locker from them, the price is redicoulesly up,5€

I got bed bug bites! We stayed there only one night. The hostel and beds seemed to look okay but we did not check in detail (If there are concerns like this, it is assumed that it is communicated and measures are taken). The next day we got ready to check out in a dark room, as other travellers were still sleeping. When we went to the city I was itchy, yet though it might be mosquito bites. Later, in a dressing room, I realised that I had more than 20 bites on the back of my leg (in “streets” at the same spot -> typical for bed bugs). When we complained to the people at the reception (and showed my leg) the first reaction was: “oh, these are not bed bug bites, it must be an allergic reaction, bed bug bites look different”. While we continued complaining, the receptionist continued to disrespect us and telling things like “do not teach me about bites, I am the one working here”, “you do not know what you are talking about”, “I’m an expert in bed bugs” and so on. After a while he later agreed that it looks like bed bugs but still didn’t take us and our concerns serious. After a long discussion, we only got one bed refunded for my night (not the ones of my two friends who stayed in the same room). The guy also got really unfriendly and offended when we told him that this hostel got bed bug complaints just last year and was not even believing us when we showed them to him. All in all they did not take us seriously, only gave us 25 of 87€ back and did not tell any other people in the room that there are bed bugs in the room or even started making any measures to prevent further spreading. We were then horrified to find more bed bugs in our new room. We left immediately and were only given a refund for the night we would not be staying in this hostel. We met a number of people also in the same situation having to leave and find expensive last minute accommodation. I struggle to believe how apologetic the staff were given that there are a number of reviews regarding the bed bug infestation with no apparent action to get rid of them. Aside from this, the hostel was run down as none of the lockers worked and the toilet and shower were broken. Very very disappointed as this meant we wasted our limited time when we could have been exploring the city.

Don't stay here. Filthy place! My mattress was full of bed bugs and I woke up with bites all over my body (feet, legs, back, face). Disgusting and a terrible way to start my holiday.

Very poor all around. Somebody had bedbugs In their room and they immediately rented that room to others. Only place I’ve seen that charges to store bags, very little community space to meet people and the shower does not stay on, you have to push the button every 20 seconds. Awful place, many better options around

Hostel itself was in good location, albeit a bit difficult to find. All the beds are ridden with bed bugs. Could not sleep the entire night and reception offered no help or compensation. Do not stay.

Really great location within walking distance of everything and an easy tram ride from the train / bus station. The security is brilliant with 2 codes needed and a key card for entrance aswell as 24/7 reception. The rooms are cleane enough however there was a few bed bugs that caused some issues such as bites and dirty sheets. The bathrooms were fine nothing amazing but fine. There is also AC but staff don't turn it on... We only had it on for the last night. Good enough place great location

Very hard to find especially in the dark. I have been eaten alive by bed bugs which is now ruining my trip as I am in a lot of discomfort. This is not a suitable hostel if you have limited mobility

PLEASE don’t book this hostel! After two nights I woke up with over a hundred bites from bed bugs. An employee was really rude and unreasonable. We left as fast as we could. For your own good, just book another hostel, it’s not worth the risk!

Great hostel and a perfect location! I was worried about the bedbugs when I saw the comments but I haven't seen any bedbugs. Everything was perfect. If I came again I would definitely stay at this hostel again!

ALERT! Bed bugs infection! I've been in a 6-bed before and it was ok. But the 10-beds was infected at least for the last 6 months reading the other reviews (they change the curtains colours to make it look a different room), or maybe for the last 4 years, what is incredible that sanitary authorities didn't close the place mostly because is plenty of kids. Stop coming until they close one week to disinfect!

Location, value for money and general cleanliness were excellent. Unfortunately I think there were some mattress bugs in the bed that bit me, but I contacted the management and I hope the problem will be fixed. For this alone I have to give an average/low rating and no more

I'd stay away from this hostel! Let me list the complaints: Bed bugs, which have been there for a month (check Google reviews). A broken bunk bed - one of the two supporting planks of the upper bed was broken. I was really afraid of getting hurt. A really annoying shower. You have to push a button every 8 seconds, otherwise the water would stop running. Awkward check-in system. The receptionist works till 10, and we had a bit of miscommunication, whether we could do a late check-in or not. To be fair, we could but it was relayed badly. Well, since we're being fair - the location is amazing and the price is cheap. Although I am afraid I would bring some cute little bed bugs to my home, so be careful

I stayed at Adagio Hostel but left after 1 night, and will lose the money for the rest of my stay. But it was not possible to stay. Impossible to sleep. Bed bugs! Body was itching all night. And reception was supposed to be closed at 21.00 but in the middle of the night (02.00) they checked in 3 guys who came in and made noise and talked. It took 1 hour for them to settle and get quiet. Then I tried to sleep 03.00 to 06.00 but woke up several times when I was bitten. At 06.00 I could not take the bites anymore and left the place and walked around the city for 3 hours in the winter cold, waiting for the reception to open at 09.00 so i could check out!!! Now I am in a nice hotel...thanks god. + Location is great! - Everything else

**ATTENTION** Full of bed bugs, don’t stop here!! **Rempli de puces de lit, passez votre chemin !! After only 5 minutes of laying down on my bed, I started to feel bites. I thought it was mosquitos (in December though?!). Then after only 15 minutes, I got bitten on my whole body!! Then I understood and started to look around: it was full of bed bugs. I didn’t even imagine it was possible to see them that easily… I canceled and left in the middle of the night, the nice girl at the reception refunded me and looked sorry. I also have videos of the bed bugs running on the mattress. Some people saw the beds too and left at the same time. They’re aware of the problem but they keep having clients. I'm sorry for the owner but you can throw all the wooden bed frames and mattresses. Note: They cancelled the reservation on Booking.com the next day, that's probably why you won't see this type of feedback on these websites.

- Nice place BUT when I was there, there was no AC in de rooms so it gets sneaking hot. Opening the windows is not an option as well. We did it. It was still hot and a LOT of noise from the street. Didn't sleep for a minute. There are also some bedbugs stories going around. My bed was fine. Try to avoid the top bunk beds. They can be high and not really safe because there's no railing to protect you falling out. + Really clean. A big kitchen/common room with a nice balcony view. Close to everything.

When we first arrived to the hostel we were rudely ignored by the receptionist who took a phone call while dealing white us, therefore 5 minutes later she decided to acknowledge us again and gave us our keys and showed us to the room but failed to explain to us about any of the facilities in the hostel. We then decided to go sight seeing but once we tried to get to sleep a whole matter arose. The air con wouldn’t work so the room was too warm to sleep in and to top things off we were disgusted to find that the beds were ridden with bed bugs and each of us were covered in bites. Once we explained to reception what had happened they did offer to pay for all of our clothes to be washed but this therefore wasted an entire day of sightseeing after waiting in a laundrette for free machines then we were to be moved rooms when we arrived back. The room we were moved to was far better but it was only the next day when we departed that 1,000 euros had been stolen from the room but when the hostel were contacted they were rude and unhelpful with the matter. Therefore I would never stay in this hostel again and will be advising others against it as not only are their cleanliness levels atrocious but their lack of hospitality to guests is disgraceful.

Excellent location, good facilities. Before we went we saw various remarks about bed bugs but 10 of us went in two separate rooms and there were none to speak of. Would definitely go again

Pay attention!! We stayed there for one week and we had real problem with the bed bugs that there are in every room... It was disgusting because you could see them on your bed. The location is great and the breakfast. The facilities are very good but do not stay there because they know about the bugs months ago and they haven't found a solution. I suggest you do not book.

the worst experience ive ever had.. Bed Bug is here. ive traveled more than 15 countries & 30 more cities but its my first time to see bed bug. i checked out early because of my bus schedule so, couldnt notice it. And then omw in bus to another city, i felt itchy and found out a lot of those spots on all over my body. I sent a mail right away about my situation and even did calling and the answer was its not their responsibility. Maybe somebody brought it from another hostel and even in 5 star hostel it happends so if u stay in 10 beds room, it can happen. Okay, i stayed a lot of rooms like more than 10 beds but it only happens just HERE. Because of Cleaness i saw in the review, i choosed this hostel and now Ha Ha my all travel schedule is ruined because of this happening. Im so disappointed of their reaction of thise problem. If u find bed bug, right away tell to the reception. i saw it in the early morning but just thought ok can be just bug not bed bug. But obviously it was BED BUG!!!!!!
