I think this is overrated place to stay, ı would tell you only one thing that would never think to stay, the room has too many bedbug. I couldnt sleep even just 1 hour. I check in early time in the morning and pay more on arrival, I went my room directly for sleeping, to many bedbug bite me, ı even kill some of them, anyway ı took my luggage and went to reception to check out after little time in room, ı Said my problem but they wanted to check the room if there is really bedbug, ı cant bel...

Probably one of the worst hostel I’ve stayed at. Anti social. Unsafe area. Rude owner. WiFi was so bad we had to go to a nearby cafe to plan the part of our trip. The Baduy Tribe trip made the stay in Jakarta worth it, but is is fully organized by an organization outside the hostel. You’re better off with a cheap hotel. Trust me.

I left my bag in the room where I met an older man living there. He asked questions and said we will talk again later. I get back and go to sit outside but he was sat drinking beer. He keeps asking me if I’m alone, it’s not safe for a girl like me. Why I don’t have a boyfriend with me. Saying he’s going to walk me round tomorrow. How cute I am when the light shines on my face. My phones got snatched near by this hostel and the hostel staff is not supportive at all. They should have called the police and helped me but they didn’t do nothing. Worst people with worst police and worst country

Quartier bruyant. Chambre privée avec des fenêtres qui ne ferment pas, impossible de fermer l’œil. Le personnel était indifférent.

Unfriendly receptionists. Card machine broke down. No wifi at room. Given locker key but was told locker not working.

Checked in and there were a bunch of roaches in my room so I ended up leaving and booking somewhere else.

everything were good except the situation of location. its quite danger when we walk outside at the night.

Only stayed 1 night in private room and was a bit grubby. Staff helpful but felt like I was in a dodgy area and didn't feel safe exploring nearby as a result. Kept awake by people being loud in the corridors and upstairs (people were singing at 6am) so I wouldn't recommend staying here.

A parte i letti leggermente duri (ma ho visto decisamente di peggio) l’ostello è veramente stupendo: tre piani, molta gente con cui fare amicizia, un barman simpaticissimo e un’organizzazione efficiente. Ci hanno addirittura prestato dei soldi perché non li avevamo per pagare il grab. Di una generosità unica, lo consiglio vivamente!

Für Jakarta vermutlich noch die beste Option. Café im EG nett mit gutem Café, die Mall nebenan für Essen gut. Für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise okay.

Dit was een goed hostel, zeker om te komen na een lange vlucht. Het was schoon, de bedden waren groot genoeg en lagen prima en er was een keuken met gratis water. De omgeving was prima, ik voelde me alleen niet snel uitgenodigd om te socializen. Een grote tip: ga op tour met Buyung! Dat kan in Jakarta, Bandung en Yogyakarta. Ik heb die in Jakarta en Bandung gedaan en hij regelde echt alles. Hij was super leuk en regelde lekker eten, plus je ziet alle hoogtepunten. Grote aanrader!

This hostel is all right. To me it didn’t feel like a hostel where you could easily meet others. As a deposit for the key I had to leave my passport at the front desk, I thought this to be very odd. Be aware that this hostel only wants cash! It is stated that they except both. In my personal experience they only except cash.

For what we payed it was a nice hostel. Was in an area we personally felt slightly unsafe in but was a nice room for the night.

Overall stay was ok. Private double room met basics needs, bed and AC. Coffee from the cafe downstairs was great, food as well. Staff were polite.

Had a good stay at packers lodge, room was a single with own bathroom. Everything was clean and the aircon works without issues. It is located in the old part of Jakarta close to Chinatown. Recommend doing a tour with Buyung around Jakarta, had a lovely time and saw the most important places, including a tour of the old harbour. The reception will have his number available.

Das Hostel liegt sehr Zentral. War sehr gemütlich. Das einzige dass bisschen gestört hat war das schlechte WIFI.

Bugs everywhere, both in the common area and my private room. No wifi in the private room either. I realised afterwards that the room had bed bugs since I discovered it before arriving in the next city.

Very clean and modern dormitory, the café is great. But the location is not interesting at all.

I had one day/night in Jakarta and this was such a calm, nice place to chill out away from the crazy streets. Had a private room and it felt like total luxury after weeks of dorms!! Loved the cafe restaurant attached to the hostel too. Would recommend :)

Chill hostel right in the center of Jakarta. I can recommend one of the tours offered by Buyung, a super friendly and funny local guide who can tell you a lot about the city!

It's a simple but clean Hostel. I had a single room without Windows. It was fine. I can really recommend Buyung, he is a local guide, that can be booked while staying at the hostel. I spend a day with him riding on his scooter around the city looking at sights and having good talks, but he also does tours beyond Jakarta:)

Schönes und sauberes Hostel für einen Kurz Trip. Ein Spiegel im Badezimmer wäre optimal und dadurch das kein Fenster im Zimmer ist, wäre ein zusätzlicher Ventilator empfehlenswert.

Overall my stay was good. The pods in the dorms are nice and offer much needed privacy, and the beds are comfy. There are multiple common areas that are nice to lounge in. The only qualm I have is that the wifi did not work on the 1st-3rd floors for most of my stay. I had to use data most times or go to the cafe on the ground floor which would often be crowded or noisy. Not the best for online work or studying. The area is calm, affordable, and easy to get to central Jakarta.

Everything was good. Nice staff.
