The Venue Hostel

Las camas estaban infestadas de chinches y ahora estoy sufriendo las consecuencias. El desayuno, si bien te lo preparan con amabilidad y cuidado, es bastante básico.

The staff was friendly, other than that I would not stay here again. There were bed bugs and cockroaches in the room. The so-called kitchen is only a microwave and a kettle.. it felt like a bad joke tbh. Otherwise it didn’t really feel homey or anything because apart from the patio there’s no real hangout spot, so I spend most of the time outside of the hostel. As a female solo traveler I also didn’t really feel safe in my mixed bedroom, with only one other woman, but that’s foreseeable.

Wir sind am 17.09.2024 in das The Venue „Boutique“ Hostel eingecheckt und haben uns gefreut, in einem einladenden Hostel untergebracht zu sein. Vorerst war im Zimmer 4 alles passabel bis auf ein paar Dinge: Der Blick ins Bad zeigte einen Putzkübel als Mülleimer und eine dreckige Duschwand, die schon länger nicht mehr geputzt wurde. Der Duschvorhang ist etwas ekelhaft und die Brause ist oben festgemacht und abgeblättert & kalkig. Der Türriegel der Badezimmertür ist komplett verrostet. Das Licht im Badezimmer kann nur von außen eingeschaltet werden. Alte Spints, wo nichteinmal ein normaler Koffer aufrecht Platz hat. Die Wand hinter dem Bett ist voller Spritzer von irgendeiner Flüssigkeit? EKELHAFT! Ein Loch im Boden. Dreckige Klorollenhalterung. Silikon um die Dusche herum ist komplett dreckig, alt und spröde. Fließen einfach aufgeschnitten und 2 Steckdosen hineingemacht. Das soll Boutique sein? Leider entsprechen die Fotos der Website nicht der Realität. Soweit so gut haben wir uns gedacht, soo schlimm ist es ja nicht… Wartet ab!!!!! Am nächsten Morgen sind wir aufgewacht, am späteren Vormittag wurde schon das Zimmer geputzt und die Putzdame hatte keine Rücksicht, dass wir noch schlafen wollten nach unserem langen Reisetag. Wir gingen in die Stadt zum Shoppen und erblickten den Albtraum unseres Urlaubs … Überall am ganzen Körper und auch bis zum Schritt sahen wir rote kratzige Bisse, die uns neu waren. Wir gingen zur Apotheke, um zu fragen, von was das kommt und die Antwort war BETTWANZEN. Im Krankenhaus um 20:00 angekommen wurde uns nochmals bestätigt, dass es sich um Bettwanzenbisse handelt. Daraufhin gingen wir nach langen Wartezeiten um 0:30 zum Hostel zurück und wollten es dem Manager melden. Der einzige Mann im Haus an der Rezeption konnte nichteinmal Englisch. Solch einen als Rezeptionist einzustellen ist doch ein Scherz oder? Wir versuchten ihm anhand Google Übersetzer unser Problem zu erklären.

Die Dusche im Zimmer ist nicht gut der Duschvorhang ist 12 mal abgefallen und die Dusche läuft über. Das Personal ist wirklich nett aber die Zimmer sind Katastrophe Schimmel, dreck und Bettwanzen sind Alltag. Wer auf den kleinen krabbel Besuch steht wird sich dort gut fühlen aber Bettwanzen mag ich nicht so.

Hostel has BED BUGS. My group and I rented 6 beds in the 10 bed room and in 4 of our beds we found bed bugs. We found bed bugs in our bed after coming back, we were only there for one night and because of the bed bugs we did not get to sleep. The staff apologized and issued a refund and offered us coffee. The staff is nice but they need to clean. Would not recommend.

Lleno de chinches

Me desperté con el cuerpo lleno de ronchas por chinches y no se hicieron cargo. Otra huésped tuvo el mismo problema. Tuve que comprar cremas y estuve 2 semanas con picazón. La ubicación no es muy buena tampoco.

Kitchen was small with a microwave and a kettle and a toaster and plastic dishes and plastic beakers to drink out off. There was no dinning part except two tables and four chairs on the terrace which didn’t look inviting as large floor tile missing. Mattresses looked cheap and old and needs replacing with the rubber covered ones that can be washed down as there was a bedbug crawling on my bed which I took to reception and she gave me another room to sleep in and free b/fast. A new lad to our room said word was going round that there were bedbugs in the rooms. One toilet for 14 people and no curtains on beds.

The staff were very good, the hostel very beautiful and well equipped. However, I found bed bugs and I was bitten ALL over my body during my stay. This is INADMISSIBLE. The staff were understanding, refunded me for the night and changed my room, but the damage had already been done. Yes, they changed my room, but it wasn't locked and other guests had to be swiped as well. In short, it's disgraceful, hygiene is the least we can do. the beds are not cleaned, which means the hotel is worthless.

He sido atacado por las chinches. He enviado fotos al hostal y nunca me han contestado. Pésima limpieza y aún peor que ni siquiera tuviera una contestación.

With the beds on the ground, I had bed bugs that bite me during nights. I suggest you disinfect whole rooms in order to have less problem with that. Staff aren't too smiling to, maybe they could add their kindness and smile welcoming people.

La joie de me réveiller, la dernière nuit, avec des piqûres de punaise de lit!!!!!! Nous étions 2 dans ce cas 2 chambres différentes. En première réponse le réceptionniste du jour me parle de l’invasion à Paris 😒😏. Damned mec là on est à Valence! 2 à arriver des paris qqs jours auparavant sans encombre ! Le bruit : Les chambres sont mal insonorisées on entend les chambres voisines et les passages des voitures. Le manque d’intimité : 10 lits et pas un seul rideau à minima au niveau de la tête pour masquer les lumières. Une chambre aveugle : ne vous fiez pas au photos la 5B ne renvoie qu’une pénombre.

Sehr schlechtes wlan Bettwanzen

Bettwanzen und Schlechtes wlan Normalerweise schreibe ich keine schlechten reviews über Hostals. Man bekommt ja in der Regel das wofür man bezahlt. Aber das venue boutique hostal ist leider wirklich eine totale katastrophe. Die unteren Matratzen in den Doppelbetten liegen direkt auf dem Boden. Das ist maximal unhygienisch und ich war wirklich komplett zerstochen von Bettwanzen. Das wifi ist leider auch ziemlich mies. Als Frau würde ich auf Grund der Dusche das hostal meiden. Keine Privatsphäre in den Duschen. Die Klimaanlage wird nur auf Nachfrage eingeschaltet. Da es in einigen Zimmern keine Fenster gibt ist die Luft sehr schlecht. Der Garten sieht auf den fotis gut aus, aber ist in Wirklichkeit sehr ungemütlich.

Was alright. My girlfriend got bedbugs on the final night so she hates this place. But I’d say it was an all good stay.

Left early because there were lots of bedbugs in my bed and I got really bad bites. Also there’s only one shared bathroom for men and women for several rooms with only one sink. No privacy, even when showering it’s not very private. The showers aren’t very good, the curtain is kind of see through and there’s nowhere to put your stuff. The location isn’t great if you’re walking. Staff is nice though and there’s a cool hang out area outside.

Not great location. The toilets and bathrooms aren't very clean and not enough for the amount of people (e.g. one sink for multiple rooms and two toilets). People were nice. But overall experience wasn't great. The ladder to the bunk bed is super tiny. Also I think I got bitten by bedbugs, so be aware of that.

During my last night I woke up with bedbugs marks as well found cockroach under the shower in the room which I was. Wanted to talk about it with staff but the guy behind reception said only Espanol Espanol. Couldn't do anything I texted to the hostel with pictures nobody respond yet...

El resultado de estar tres noches en el hostel ha sido irme con múltiples picaduras por todo el cuerpo en forma de zig zag, agrupadas en zonas del cuerpo (brazos, manos, cuello, cara, alguna por las piernas), con mucho picor. Seguramente Chinches. La primera mañana pensé que eran mosquitos pero ya la segunda mañana y el último día no era normal, ha ido a más. Tengo fotos de la cama donde dormi la número 4 que estaba en el suelo al lado de las taquillas y también fotos que me hice al salir de todas las picaduras. Al dejar el hostel hablé con el representante del responsable y se lo he hecho saber, conocen lo ocurrido.

Tras comprobar que mi reseña publicada el sábado y de nuevo ayer han sido retiradas sin ningún motivo, vuelvo a publicarla ya que este espacio esta dedicado a poner opiniones de usuarios de establecimientos que han pagado por el disfrute de un servicio. Y por tanto mi reseña se basa en mi experiencia real, verídica, que puedo demostrar con facturas, pagos, fotos del lugar, fotos de lo que me ocurrió y que no son ningún ataque personal si no mi experiencia como usuario del establecimiento. Por tanto, cumplo con la política de contenido de Google Maps y espero no se me retire de nuevo la reseña. La reseña que publiqué el sábado al salir del hostel: (está tercera vez que la publico voy a retirar las fotos que subí mostrando mis picaduras a ver si esta vez no se me elimina mi reseña). (Reseña primera, sábado 29 de julio) Acabo de salir del establecimiento después de haber pasado tres noches, el resultado ha sido salir con picaduras múltiples en zonas del cuerpo (cuello, codos, manos, piernas) en forma de zic zac y con gran picor. Seguramente Chinches. La primera mañana pensé que eran mosquitos pero ya la segunda mañana y hoy no era normal, ha ido a más. My bunk had bed bugs, about 30 bites. Internet in common area didn't work, but worked in dorms.

The room is really not clean. The bed and sheets are dirty with bed bugs. I did get a lot of bites from the bed bugs and the rooms are definitely not sound proof. The electricity went out several times during my stay. While checking out, the staff ask me to return the towel which I didn’t rent any of it .
