Maya Hostel Berat

Only one combined toilet/shower bathroom for ten people (luckily we were with max 4 people when I stayed here). The biggest problem however were the bedbugs I found in my bed :( A week after my stay I crossed an old volunteer from the hostel saying they apparently had bed bugs weeks before my stay already. I guess the issue wasn't addressed properly and now they have started spreading...

Bed bugs in the 4-bed dorm on the first floor. Not the hostels fault and staff were sympathetic with dealing with the situation, but I have to raise it here for others. There is always a possibility that it is not handled properly

BEDBUGS

bedbugs! I had the room number 3 (the only 4 bed dorm) i woke up and saw a bedbug crawling over my bedsheet. just by lifting the pillow I found another one. the person in the bed above me also told me that she woke up multiple time because she felt itchy. even though they said they will close the room, they still let poeple check in for that room. I asked, there is only one 4 bed room, so no chance they got another room. I doubt that you can get rid off bedbugs within half a day (when I left around noon my bedsheet was still on the bed)
