BED BUGS

They have a bed bugs!!!! I got bite in the legs and the hips and they changed my bed, but when spoke with the owner and deny about the bed bugs, he is rude and has not manners. The atmosphere is terrible, 4th floor is cold and there is no common area where you can be with heater except the room. They also do not have dry machine, imagine if you wash your clothes and how is going to dry? With 2 degrees outside, Terrible. I would never go again and recommend not going to this TERRIBLE place.

Bed bugs in the dorm. We was four peoples in the dorm, and we all been attact by bed bugs. The owner told me that is going To call a companie To clean the dorm. But no companie came... The day when i left this hostel, i received a mail from booking To told me that the hostel told them that i did a "no show". Smart, like that i can't make à review on the website. I just read other review on Google. And yes it is true, there is bed bugs and bad peoples in this hostel.

!!!!Bedbugs!!!!! 24/10/23 The room I was shown had bedbugs! There were black dots under the mattress everywhere and I even found a bedbug to show the staff - who didn't take me serious at all and rubbed the bedbug I showed him into a crack in the wall to hide it. He even wanted me to pay extra then to wash my clothes that I had in the room!! Absolutely ridiculous, there were still people staying in the room and he did nothing, thats how they spread so easily!! Edit: Since the owners have messaged me twice now to tell me they still don't believe there were bedbugs: I switched rooms immediately when I saw bedbugs in the 4 bed dorm (room 3). They moved me to a 8 bed dorm on a different floor which i checked as well and didn't find any bed bugs there. I stayed in this dorm since I didn't have many options during my stay in Nikosia. I told the staff multiple times to get the room checked, since there were still other people in there, who didn't know about the issues. They didn't do anything and later messged me that "our pest control company is cleaning and spraying in a monthly base" - modern bedbugs are immune to spraying!! and I do not want to find out what this room will look like in a months time. The way they are handling this situation tells everything you need to know about the place! Avoid it!!

BEDBUGS. I stayed two nights and was a bit suspicious about the cleanliness of this place - I moved the mattress around and there was a lot of dust and grime in the bed frame. However, it was evening, I’d walked far from the bud station with heavy luggage and the bedsheets looked clean so I stayed. Unfortunately the evening I left the hostel, I noticed the classic 3 bite pattern of bedbug bites on the side I sleep on. Having looked at previous reviews this seems to be an ongoing issue for them as a few people have mentioned it. Likewise - showers didn’t have hot water when I tried to shower, this also seems to be other people’s experience. It’s also super far from the city centre, not under 1km as booking says, it’s a good 25 mins away (and many key sights are then 15 mins further away). I didn’t manage to see anything while I was staying there because of the distance as I was working remotely and use before work and lunchtimes to sightsee, which wasn’t possible as it was so far from everything. I moved into the city centre and that was so much nicer on every level.

So dirty, bedding smelt really bad like old feet. Was really noisy, beds uncomfortable. Pretty sure there are bed bugs so will burn my clothing when I get home.

Il y a des punaises de lits, pas beaucoup mais il y en a quand même ! Dans les chambres, il y a des vieux canapés tout pourri, si ils viennent de l'extérieur ce n'est pas surprenant. Les matelas ne sont pas protégés contre les punaises de lits. Bref, il faudrait agir avant que la situation dégénère.

AVOID - BED BUGS, NO SLEEP I tried to leave 1 star comment. I slept in Nex for 2 nights, at the first I woke up bitten and thought it was mosquito but at the second night without sleep I realised it was bed bugs. They still charged me for full payment. It's been over a week and im still scratching myself.
