Hangzhou Desti Youth Park Hostel West Lake

I stayed at another Desti in Chengdu before but this one was much worse compared to the other one.There's only 2 shared bathrooms with very few stalls for the entire floor and it was quite dirty and smelled really bad. Girls and boys dorms are mixed on the same floor, the hallways are quite dark. The rooms were also not very clean, and dusty. There's no place to smoke except for the dark (and cold) stairwell or right outside the building on the sidewalk — where i got some weird looks.

Location near metro station with 2 lines. Facility is good. However, it’s not social

Big hostel in a central location, capsule type beds but very clean and comfortable. Craft brewery on site. Friendly helpful staff with a location to study and work on site. Highly recommended

Been to 13 countries, I could say, this is the best for now. Everything is well designed, you don’t need to worry about anything about the facilities.

Everything perfect, such a great place to stay for the price. Would be nice if hostel encouraged more socialisation through events

Plenty of bathrooms and common space, staff speaks a bit of English so that helps, overall just good vibe.

It’s really good. Nice and organised. Fresh towel, sheets. Purified water station for free. Good located next to food shops. WiFi, little bibliography even for studying and reading only. I would consider going there again!

The staff are amazing.

It was truly amazing. The receptionists were super helpful every time I came to them (I was often at the reception to ask). The whole Hostel is very modern, clean and comfortable. In my future travels I'll consider only looking for this Hostel.

Superbe auberge de jeunesse, avec des équipements tout neufs. Les lits sont confortables avec rideaux pour l'intimité,calme parfait pour se reposer, prise électrique, serviette de bain à disposition. Tout est propre. Les espaces communs sont super cools avec un étage pour le coworking ou pour lire de beaux livres de voyages. Bonne ambiance et le staff qui parle anglais est très aidant. J'y retournerai sans hésitation!

decent place to spend a few nights in Hangzhou. my room was pretty cold in January but it was clean and comfy. my downside is a lack of atmosphere. they had a bar and pool table but it was pretty dead. I think organizing events and tours would help since it has the potential. Mostly Chinese/domestic travelers so it was hard to meet others. Great location walking distance about 20 mins from west lake and other attractions.

Really good one. Context: private room. the Hostel is awesome, facility really good and clean. Hot water too. If you want to go there, get out at the Shentaqiao station, it will be arounf 5mn from there. They speak a bit of english so that helps a lot. Regarding the atmosphere, they do a lot of things to entertain. one of the best one I did.

Nice hostel. Dorms are clean and the bed is very comfortable. Showers and toilets are clean. The stuff is friendly and helpful, good vibes in the common area. I spent there just one night, i think the location is not the best one, is necessary to get the metro to go around. Anyways the metro stop is 2 minutes walk by the hostel.

I only stayed at this hostel for one night, but I was thoroughly impressed by both the facilities and the staff. The room was clean and comfortable, and the common areas were well-maintained. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, even helping me with directions to the subway station. I hope to come back and stay at their hostel again.
