Quiri Hostel Hanoi

- Comparing to the other hostels i stayed in Hanoi this one was really bad. The female dorm had a bad smell and mold on the wall. There was no ac in the room so it was super hot during the night. Breakfast was also poor and the pancakes were dry (also small portion).

- Very disappointing stay. The room was stuffy, moldy, and poorly ventilated, with visible mold in the luggage compartments — it honestly felt like they were trying to grow mushrooms in there. The air conditioning only works from 8 PM to 10 AM (not mentioned anywhere) and was switched off during the night on two of three nights. The room was dirty on arrival, the bunk bed ladder felt unsafe, and the towel (with deposit) had holes and smelled of mold. A fan in a windowless, damp room only made things worse. They also charge an extra 4% for card payments, which I didn’t experience elsewhere in Asia or Hanoi. The pool was poorly maintained, with hair floating in the water. Absolutely not recommended.

- 房間極小、六床房有四床位於門邊、沒多餘的空間讓你吊掛衣服和放東西。櫃子打開他人就完全無法進出。所以東西很多的旅客千萬別來！冷氣晚上七八點後才開放，房間很熱！棉被很薄，像床單一樣！（因為很熱，所以床單得超薄！）洗手檯和吹風機位於房間內很不方便，如果你太晚或太早要使用會讓所有人無法睡眠。浴廁總是潮濕、洗手檯嚴重堵塞導致需要去浴室刷牙。一大早六點多有人來修理會叫不停的櫃子。店員直接認證房間很吵，所以怕吵的人不要來！ 動線標示不清以致找不到房間，到櫃檯詢問，結果櫃檯個小女店員態度極差！還竟然為了這種小事，對其他外國遊客說是客人不懂英文！（找不到沒標示的出入口數字到底跟不懂英文什麼事？！這種小事可以聽她用越南語和英文對所有人抱怨老半天！！）所以如非不得已千萬不要來！外國人不缺這幾萬塊越南盾可以住更好的！因為她可能會讓你心情不好而睡不好，錯失行程！！謝謝因為這女店員極度不專業和非常糟糕的惡劣態度，讓我願意把一切說出來！！！（櫃檯個小男店員也不會正視顧客感受，因為當天是超級假日，其它旅宿也已都沒房，男店員卻只直接說：可以退錢。但並不關心他們自己的惡劣態度！所以千萬別來，因為他們有可能犧牲掉你的任何權益！！！）附註一提，女店員英文很差，因為她只聽得懂很純正的簡單英文，腔調太重或太多解釋的她聽不懂！她甚至會很無聊地糾正你的發音！！顯示自以為優越的英文！也不要期待他們早餐，因為早餐很爛！！這是一間買氣受的超級爛旅社！！

- Le manager de l'hôtel a presque abusé de moi. Il m'a invitée au live concert de son groupe le soir. J'ai refusé l'invitation en disant que je n'étais pas intéressée par une relation, il m'a assuré que c'était juste pour venir le soutenir et qu'il n'avait pas d'arrière pensées. Le soir il m'a fait énormément boire à l'happy hour (qui s'est transformée en 3h), puis nous sommes allés au live concert. Il m'a encore offert des conso. Il m'a proposé de me ramener à l'hostel sur son scooter. Au lieu de me ramener il m'a emmenée en dehors de la ville et a commencé à me toucher sur le scooter et me dire que le coin était sympa pour un date, en insistant sur le fait que je devais le remercier parce qu'il m'offrait gratuitement une balade qui normalement est payante. J'étais très mal à l'aise, il était une heure du matin et j'étais seule et ivre. Je lui ai demandé de me ramener à l'hostel, ce qu'il a fait. Mais quand je suis allée me réfugier dans ma chambre, il m'a écrit en me disant qu'il m'attendait devant ma porte pour me dire bonne nuit. Le lendemain je lui ai expliqué que ce qu'il a fait n'était pas correct mais il a prétexté avoir trop bu, ce qui est faux : personne ne l'a vu boire beaucoup ce soir-là. J'étais la seule de nous deux à être très alcoolisée. Il utilise sa position de manager pour gagner notre confiance, et le prétexte de l'happy hour organisé par l'hostel pour nous faire boire et obtenir ce qu'il ne peut pas avoir sexuellement (je lui avais dit que je n'étais pas intéressée). Par ailleurs il écrit sur WhatsApp à toutes les femmes qui viennent, en les mettant très mal à l'aise. Il fait passer ça pour de la gentillesse mais il n'écrit qu'aux femmes et demande notre Instagram soit-disant pour pouvoir "répondre plus vite". Cet homme est dangereux pour les femmes qui voyagent seules.

- Extremely disappointing experience – avoid this hostel I had a very unpleasant stay at Quiri Hostel Hanoi and would not recommend it to anyone. The shower tap broke late at night, and while I immediately informed the staff, they simply told me to leave it as it was. The next morning, the entire floor was flooded. Unfortunately, the lockers were placed under the beds, so all my belongings, including important documents and my laptop got soaked through while still in my backpack. I was promised a refund on the spot, but it never came. No follow-up, no apology, just broken promises. Breakfast was minimal; just a small piece of omelette. and the air conditioning only runs for a few hours at night, making the rooms hot and uncomfortable the rest of the time. This was an extremely frustrating experience. I strongly advise future travelers to look elsewhere for a more professional and respectful environment.

+ Нет кулера с питьевой водой!!!! Первый раз встречаю хостел где нет питьевой воды, только покупай воду, даже горячую сказали в баре платно бери за 30 донгов, когда на улицах яичный кофе стоит 40!!!! Вы что издеваетесь??? Цены на автобусы, экскурсии, аренда байка все завышено!!!! И самое главное, я бронировала по одной стоимости, а они мне выставили почти в два раза большую!!!! И отказались менять ее в соответствии с букингом, пришлось тут же найти другой хостел поблизости и уехать в него. И с трудом вытребовала, чтобы они мне вернули деньги за неиспользованное время аренды их байка. Может сам по себе хостел и не плохой, но отношение персонала к гостям ужасное!!!!!

- Awful experience. At first when I arrived (late at night because I arrived with a night bus from Ha Giang) I got a bed assigned, but my bed, the upper bunk bed was taken already. The lower bunk was free so I thought that should be my bed. There was some stuff laying on my bed but I assumed it was from the person sleeping in my assigned bed. I decided to take the lower bunk, but after half an hour a woman removed the curtain and claimed that I was in her bed. Weird experience late at night. We called the man from the reception and I got assigned to another bed. However, I didn’t get any proper covers so I slept with my fleece the whole night because it was cold due to the AC. I also couldn’t sleep in because the housecleaning came in to the room at 9 AM with a lot of noise. I discussed this with the reception when I checked out and they proposed to arrange me a free taxi to the airport. I agreed but the day after when the taxi was supposed to pick me up. No-one showed up. My flight departed at 11 AM and the taxi was supposed to pick me up at 8 AM. At 8.30, still nobody. I decided to book a grab because I really had to go to the airport. Would not recommend going here. Be aware. Oh and before I forget: I was able to open ALL of the lockers with my keycard. Not really good security for your stuff. I slept with my important belongings with me on my very uncomfortable bed.

- 千万别和前台有什么约定!!!!别信他们说的话！！无语死我在这里定了三个晚上，刚来入住的时候我就说想要换下铺，然后给了我个下铺结果进去有个人躺在那，说是他的前台同伴没有告诉他，后面那个前台又带我去了另一个房间，他没有问过我就带我去了混合房的下铺，无奈我只能换回原来的那间房上铺，然后他说第二天可以给我换下铺，第二天早上我去前台说换下铺，这时候又是另一个前台，她说不能换，晚上我再定一晚上问能不能住下铺，他说可以，第二天十二点前把行李什么收拾出来去前台退房换就好了，我照做了，结果那个前台女生说现在下铺没有退房，我说我把钥匙给她晚上回来拿钥匙就好了，晚上回来结果另一个前台说那个前台没有给我换，所以我换不了，就相当于我白收拾了东西，浪费我的时间和表情。还有要我把护照压在那里，真是无语。说实话你这破小旅馆也没什么可高尚的，搞出这种事真让人无语，厕所也是臭烘烘的，房间也不打扫(估计就是收拾一下房间垃圾)，那个柜子住进去的时候都有垃圾，洗漱台大家的东西也是乱放在那里，而且他们就是那种不管你的那种服务态度，很不爽。浴室的洗发水沐浴露也都是空的，虚假摆设。如果你刚好洗澡的时候隔壁有人在上厕所，你就得闻着味洗澡，而且厕所很小，晾衣服也不方便，阳台根本不好晾

+ Posizione incredibile e tutti i servizi di tour la raggiungono coi mezzi Ottimi i lucchetti con chiave magnetica in dotazione. Ho prenotato perché c’erano quelli.

- La doccia era un po’ “punk” ma ne ho viste di peggiori e per questo prezzo è più che decorosa.

+ Comfy dorms. Big under bed lockers that you used an electronic key for (and they weren’t loud when opening). There were two showers in a 10 bed dorm and sinks outside so I never had to wait to take a shower. Curtains provided good privacy.

- The area is a bit loud but the noise stopped at 10pm.

+ Laundry service

+ The hostel is right in the center, close to everything. The rooms are smaller, but sufficient. I really appreciated the blanket they prepared on my bed!

- The room didn’t have any windows and was a bit musty. The bathroom is connected to the room, and getting into the shower through the narrow door was quite difficult. The sink is directly in the room, so it was noticeable when someone was brushing their teeth and so on. The bathroom setup was a big downside, but it was manageable for one night.
