Hostal Casa De Arcos

The wifi is only good in the communal area, it barely reached my room. Definitely not great for work, work meetings, or private calls. The bathrooms were often a bit grimy or only superficially cleaned (seeing the same stains for a week), and I learned that the duvet covers are usually not changed between guests, only the sheets. The architecture is interesting but makes the rooms facing the courtyard=walkway quite noisy and not very private. The drinking water was usually finished before the end of the day (a filter might make more sense on so many levels). A desk in the room would have been great. Power sockets were so worn out, plugs needed to be supported to not fall out. The fridge was supposed to be cleaned out every Monday but definitely wasn't that week and had bowls of rotting food.

Bed bugs!!

On day 2 of our stay we found a (lone) bedbug on the bed and decided to move immediately. The staff reacted well and reimbursed us through Booking for the remainder of the nights.

They have bedbugs…
