- El hotel tiene las habitaciones-discoteca-restaurante dentro del mismo recinto, lo cual imposibilita el descanso. No dormí ni una noche.

- Honteux, à fuir. C’est sale et délabré. Très cher pour un lit en dortoir (plus cher que des chambres privées dans la ville). C’est très bruyant. Des gens sont entrés dans le dortoir à 1h30 et on passer 30 minutes à crier et à rigoler, sans que la femme de l’accueil ne dise quoi que ce soit. Quel manque de respect pour les autres qui dormaient la. Ils sont ensuite revenu plus tard et on encore crié et rigolé. On a donc très peu dormi, du au bruit. La porte du dortoir reste ouvert tout le temps, malgré le fait que ça donne sur une terrasse avec de la musique à fond durant la nuit. Bref, à fuir absolument !

- A EVITER ABSOLUMENT, si vous ne voulez pas pourrir votre séjour à Antigua. Plus mauvaise expérience de ma vie en hôtel, alors que je voyage 5 à 6 mois par an depuis 10 ans pour mon travail (je precise que je n'ai pas de goûts de luxe). Rien n'indique à la réservation qu'il s'agit d'un "hôtel de fête" (concept plutôt étonnant...), j'ai donc fait une réservation non échangeable et non remboursable pour 9 jours en pensant réserver un hôtel normal. A l'arrivée à l'accueil on vous demande de remplir et signer un papier. Je remplis la première partie et commence à compléter la seconde "non non, pas la peine, cette partie est réservée au personnel de l'hôtel, signez juste en bas". En bas de ce second bloc qu'on vous demande expressément de ne pas completer est indiqué "bruit le week-end jusqu'à 3h du matin". Le bruit en question durera jusqu'à 4h30. J'avais boules quies + casque antibruit... mais tout vibrait comme quand la sono est au maximum en concert ou en boite de nuit. Les chambres donnent sur le patio qui sert de boite de nuit, donc en plus du bruit vous avez littéralement des gens qui font la fête devant votre porte. Je suis sortie plusieurs fois demander à ce qu'ils baissent le volume. Dernière requête accueillie par les rires moqueurs du dernier groupe ivre à 4h30 du matin. Il a fallu que je fasse une deuxième réservation via Booking pour trouver un lieu qui me permette de dormir et travailler... et le remboursement partiel qui m'avait été promis par l'hôtel compte tenu des circonstances n'a jamais été opéré. Scandaleux. Des arnaqueurs.
+ Mar 10, 2024. BEWARE of NIKIKOT Hostel in Antigua. The management at this place is horrible. By phone and in person we went to cancel this reservation (in enough time), but the management was not friendly or responsive. They promised to cancel the reservation without a charge, and it was canceled on booking.com. However, a month later when I checked my credit card statement, they charged me using the name of RAWAJAI LA ANTIGUA for even a higher amount. Horrible. Also, when we went there in person, it looked horrible (compared to all of the other places on the street).

Not a very hostel atmosphere, we did not see a single person staying there. The listing says party hostel, but does not share that they blast music until 3am and one night had a live band playing until 1:15am and our entire room was shaking. If you want to sleep at a reasonable hour any night or meet other people wouldn't recommend staying here. Location is good and they changed our bedding/towels every day which was nice.

Good hostel, shower was very cold and no pressure. But decent for price
I stayed in 3 different hostels in Antigua. This one was the nicest. Really cozy big beds which are similar to a pod style. There was also somewhere to refill my water bottle. The only downside is when I was staying there was 3 showers but one had a broken curtain and then another didn’t work, so there was only 1 shower.

Expensive for the quality. Property details don’t share that it’s connected to a bar that stays open until 3am. The bathrooms were very small and the showers weren’t too clean. The actual bunk was clean, however my outlet didn’t work.

I struggled here and not for any of the reasons stated in other reviews. There were no loud parties and no bugs, and the staff was honestly so nice. But the dorm is horribly cramped, in terrible condition and dirty, and doubles as a supply closet/laundry drop for the housekeeping staff, who are in and out all day. I was stuffed up and coughing every night when I was there, not to mention my mattress was really slanted. I slept terribly. Awful showers, little to no hot water no water pressure.
Property itself is fine but I booked the Superior Private 5 Bed Ensuite only to check in to a room with 3 beds. The staff was completely unreasonable, going in circles saying that it was my fault because in their system it said 3 bedroom but on my booking confirmation and on hostelworld it said 5 bedroom, resulting in two people having to sleep on the floor and one person getting quite sick due to the dirty floors. I am currently in contact with the hostel and hostelworld to resolve this.
