I had a reservation but no one answered the door. I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone.🫥🫥☠️👣

Even though the description says the hostel is under construction, it was far worse than expected. Everything was falling apart and run-down. I don't think there was even a sign at the entrance to the hostel, so it took a while to find it. It's located in a sketchy alley near some dumpsters... The common space smells like mold and the bathrooms are dirty and extremely small. The British girl working there was rude but the other staff was fine. Save your sanity and stay elsewhere.

To be honest, I have never left a negative review in my life for any place. Needed to leave and move earlier because so many things was not working there, a huge noice all night long and needed to keep windows open because AC was not working even they promice to fix it. And they didn't refunded any money even facilities was not what it should have been. If you're going to stay at this hotel, I must say it's not hygienic at all. The sheets and pillowcases were torn. The sheets in the room hadn't been changed, and the blankets were very old. Also, our room smelled of dampness. Being close to the Galata tower was an advantage.

Unsafe place. Far from the city center. Inappropriate behavior. I went there and wanted to change because of the many and dangerous stairs and they told me before I left that you have to leave here. I don't understand the reason for their behavior, but it was really disgusting. The bathroom was disgusting. No lockers. No security. I hope no one experiences what I experienced. Don't go to Lola.

Echt ein nettes Hostel. Sehr gut um Leute kennenzulernen. Die Hostel Besitzerin Lola ist auch sehr nett!!!!

Cool spot. It’s not fancy, but it’s got a great soul.

Super easy to meet people, homely feel, hippie and cozy. Very friendly staff and good advice. And of course shout out to Burcu, she’s the one who makes this place so awesome.

Honestly, the highlight of my stay was the pets. Having Lola and the cats ( UFO and Kebap) around (one even slept on my bunk!) made the atmosphere so calm and welcoming. Contrary to other reviews, the rooms and showers were actually quite clean It’s simple, it’s chill, and the community vibe is great.

There were street cats all over the beds and inside the room.

Had an enjoyable stay here! Would come back if I visit Istanbul again 💙

Amazing stay!

Overall, it’s not a bad hostel for the price. The location is definitely the highlight, and the showers are warm (at least for a short time). On the downside, the beds are quite worn and tend to sink in the middle. The bathrooms had a noticeable sewage and mold smell, and the common area/lobby also smelled musty. The overall vibe during my stay wasn’t great. That said, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly place in a great location, it’s still a decent option.

Lovely place with amazing vibe, great location and where the staff and the owner are greaaaat. If you are solo travelling and looking for a nice spot from where to explore Istanbul... I guess I'll be surprised if you find a better place ✌️

Hostel correct bien situé

J'adore l'ambiance, la salle commune est très cosy, les chambres propres et le personnel adorable (mention spéciale pour le tour du quartier gratuit). Un très bonne ambiance avec de nombreux voyageurs. Le quartier peut être un peu angoissant, les équipements sont relativement vétustes (câbles pendant dans la douche, humidité relative) mais c'est correct pour le prix

Great hostel! Location is good. The whole hostel is very clean. The showers are great. The cats and the dog are the heart of the place. The staff is absolutely lovely and helpful, daily promoting activities to integrate the guests. Will most definitely be back.

One of my favorite places in the world. It has an amazing atmosphere — I could find moments to be on my own and also meet great people and form groups to explore the city together. I will come back soon.

Heel leuke plek om effe Istanbul te verkennen. Je voelt je gelijk thuis. Deze plek is echt alleen maar voor backpackers die graag op avontuur gaan. De bedden zijn ok en je kan met een gordijntje het licht uit doen als je effe wat langer wil blijven liggen ofzo. Qua afwerking zou ik niet gelijk een 10 geven maar toch doe ik het omdat je voor zo een lage prijs toch alles hebt wat je nodig hebt.
