We reached there around 11 am and the morning (9 am) before, we already texted the given number of Maraplace hotel that we willl be arriving there shortly. When we arrived, they said that our 2 rooms were completely gone because the hotel is fully booked and the manager gave us a one family room instead for the whole 2 nights, for the same price, which is ridiculous as one room should cost less than two rooms! The "family" room that we were appointed to was also very dirty, (hair in the bathroom...
Le 2e jour, découverte de punaises de lit à plusieurs stades de développement, dans les draps et couture du lit. il y en avait pas mal de mortes ce qui laissait penser que le problème n'était pas nouveau. nous avons remonté le soucis mais ça ne semblait pas problématique pour l'hôtel. et sinon draps sales avec tâches de sang et troués. draps trop petits par rapport au lit, on se retouvait à même le matelas. quartier tres sympa cependant.
On the 2nd day, discovery of bed bugs in several stages of development, in the sheets and seam of the bed. there were quite a few deaths which suggested that the problem was not new. we re-established the problem but it did not seem problematic for the hotel. and otherwise dirty bed sheets with blood stains and dimples. sheets too small in relation to the bed, one found the same mattress. nice neighborhood tres, however.
THEY DID NOT LET US IN ... A few days ago we booked a double room in this hostel. When we went to the hotel the guy at the reception did not let us in despite the fact that we already had the booking. The guy was very rude and his excuse was that they no longer work with hostel world and he can't log in to his account. I asked him to give us another room but he refused, so we had to find another place. My friendly advice for you is never to book with this hotel.You will have very bad experi...
Great location, helpful staff, but the bedroom had no window.
un bon rapport qualité prix. pourtant quelques améliorations seraient les bien venues (matelas fatigués). Situation centrale dans un quartier populaire et proche du métro et autres moyens de transport. Personnel accueillant et sympa
a good value for money. however some improvements would be the well venues (fatigued mattresses). central location in a popular area and close to the metro and other means of transport. friendly and friendly staff
This is a very nice place, it’s located really close to the main Istanbul attractions, the spice market is about a 5 minute walk, Hagia Sophia, the cisterns and the blue mosque are about a 20 minute walk…..but the location is very shady, specially at night you do not want to walk around it, if you have the chance, try to book a place that’s not in this area

This is an awesome spot! Very centrally located, awesome staff, and Sheila is the mascot! I stayed for a week and felt really at home. The staff was super kind and helpful, and it’s walkable to all the major attractions. Would come back again anytime!
Es war das beste Hostel bis hier in Istanbul, was ich je gebraucht habe. Alles lief wunderbar. Ich hatte sonst sehr schlechte Erfahrungen mit Hostels. Wir hatten ein großes Familienzimmer,war alles neuwärtig und schön eingerichtet.Bad und WC war sauber gehalten und funktionierte gut. Unsere Ansprechpartner Süleyman war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.hat uns schnell einen Parkplatz für uns organisiert vielen Dank nochmals an Süleyman. Ich kann das Hostel weiter empfehlen.
It was the best hostel I've ever needed here in Istanbul. everything went wonderful. i had other very bad experiences with hostels. we had a large family room,everything was modern and beautifully furnished. the bathroom and toilet were kept clean and functioned well. our contact person Süleyman was very friendly and helpful. he quickly organized a parking space for us. thank you very much to Süleyman. i can recommend the hostel further.
