Will not stay again. There was no common area to rest in that was smoke free. Bathrooms had 3 broken soap dispensers and was constantly muggy with humidity. The kitchen area had limited plug points and guests fought over using the kettle vs toaster. The chai provided was extremely watered down. And the manager/owner(?) was flirty/touchy to female guests. Bad vibes all around. I left after 1 day and met 2 other ex-guests from this hostel at another hostel nearby; we all agreed this place was bad.
People who worked there really helpful, but there really wasn’t a community. 20 minute walk from Bandra. Felt unsecured because the rooms/front door were never locked and the locks on the under bed storage were broken. Breakfast was a bag of white bread and boiled eggs on the counter. The only four toilets are also showers so inaccessible in morning. 12 bed female dorm had most intense mold smell of any hostel I've ever stayed in. Found bedbug full of blood in my bed. Not sure why reviews good
Es wär gut aber kann viel besser werden können. Das Zimmer war okie, aber gut gelüftet. Das Dusche und Toilette was okie. Die Küche war schmutzig, ich habe auch Tier gesehen. Es gab viele Katze, dass ich sehr schön finde. Für Übernachtung ist gut aber für lange Zeit würde ich nicht empfohlen.
It was good but could be much better. The room was ok but well ventilated. The shower and toilet were ok. The kitchen was dirty, I've also seen Tier. There were many cats, that I find very beautiful. For overnight is good but for a long time I would not recommend.
We booked a room with two other girls but when we arrived we found out that our “private bathroom” was used not only by our roommates but also by other guests. The door hadn’t got a key, you could only lock it from the inside but it didn’t work well, and some people accidentally opened it while we were changing. This hostel advertises it self as a hostel for solo backpackers, but unfortunately I disagree. Whilst the staff were very friendly, they weren’t overly helpful with giving recommendations on how to spend our time in Mumbai. The hostel is very cramped and it feels like they tried to maximise the number of people in the hostel.The bathroom is tiny and mixed. There aren’t great social areas: a common table where people are working, and an outside area that is taken over by the staff and their m...

The staff was great but for me it was too much confusion I understand that this is a position for young people! the location was ok and the breakfast was super. thank you
No other foreigners, only local people living in the hostel. The female dorm smelt like straight up piss, so badly I couldn’t even sleep. The kitchen was right outside the female dorm and from 5am people were cooking with strong spices which was better than piss but still bad
Noise levels after midnight and toilet cleanliness are the only reasons I would rate this hostel low.
+ Location: Bandra is a nice quarter with lots of bars and cafes. It takes some time (50Min) by train to go to the main sightseeing places on the east side, but therefor it's less chaotic. + outside of the hostel and common area is really comfy, for breakfast (included) you sit together with all guests as if you have breakfast at home + washing machine - no free drinking water available - our bed side lamps didn't work - only really small locks fit with the locker, we had to buy a...

Lovely team, small hostel that feels homey - good location if you want a bit of a break from the busy city, 10 min walk from the coast where therw are a few cafes to chill and plan your day before venturing out

I stayed here for Lolla 2026. Met a bunch of interesting folks and had a lot of fun! Staff was friendly, the premises were clean, and all facilities were functional. Bathrooms were cleaned multiple times a day. There was a big mirror, an ironing board, and a washing machine, which I appreciated. The breakfast was simple and homely, which is exactly what I wanted after eating junk at the festival.

Great place, great vibes! Staff were super friendly and the showers were great. I loved the area and walked most places.
A good little stay in Mumbai. Not overly social due to a small presence of travellers, but it did the job :)
It was so good to stay there.On a practical note, the beds were large and comfy, enough toilets, breakfast was good as well.I picked this hostel for the social score and it was a great decision. The staff were super chill and helpful,and I spent my day hanging out with them and doing some walking around the area. The chat on this app is a bit dead but the hostel is very alive

Very nice hostel in Bandra. The highlight was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The living room has an antique feeling to it with a beautiful wooden table which gives a nice earthy feeling. Overall I had a very satisfying 4 day stay. Will highly recommend this hostel.
This is an underrated hostel. Very social, with a terrace at the front door where everyone congregates, and one big table indoors that everyone sits round. Can bring in outside alcohol and chill there. Music off at 10.30 for guests to sleep, but can stay up chatting as long as you like. Super friendly staff, very helpful. Location is outside the edge of the hustle of Bandra, so not too hectic, but easy access to all the main spots. No curtains, but can rent for an extra 100rps. Loved it here!

Great hostel with friendly people and amazing breakfasts! I recommend renting curtains for extra privacy and protection from the strong AC and two fans — otherwise, you might catch a cold.
Very good location next to Bandra for both local trains and longer haul destinations to other spots in India. The staff were extremely friendly and not overbearing. One of the best hostels we stayed at in India. There was sometimes a bit of back and fourth into the rooms at early morning hours however it wasn’t an issue for me personally.

One of our favourite hostels in India. Beds were comfy, people were very friendly and great breakfast every morning. Although not in the best location if you are wanting to do touristy things.
