Alejado del centro de la ciudad, solo conviene si harás muchas actividades por Jan Thiel. Después, todo bien. Deberían proponer actividades para los huéspedes como en otros Hostel o avisar cuáles son las fiestas de la semana para poder armar agenda. Encontré un ambiente frío y aburrido. La experiencia fue por mi cuenta propia y me encantó Curazao!
Away from the city center, it is only good if you do a lot of activities for Jan Thiel. After that, all is well. They should propose activities for guests like in other Hostel or let us know what the weekly parties are so we can put together an agenda. I found a cold and boring environment. The experience was on my own and I loved Curacao!
You need a car if you stay there, the bikes they have were in bad shape, the beds and facilities were great
I think the bedroom was not clean properly, the walls needs to Vene washed down in the toilets
Reason for lower rating is because I had $250 USD stolen from my bed during my stay. I was in a 6 bed female dorm. There was only 1 other female staying in the dorm when money was taken, & she was my friend. She also didn't know that the money was there, & was gone in the city at the time the money disappeared. I had hidden the money in my bed, the cleaning ladies thought that I was checking out & cleaned my sheets. The money was gone when I returned to the room. Just keep an eye on your things.
Pluspunten: - er zijn meerdere zithoekjes waar je bij elkaar kan zitten - personeel over het algemeen aardig Minpunten - het is meer een hotel, geen hostelvibe - je hebt hier echt een auto nodig wil je meer dan Jan Thiel zien en ‘s avonds ergens naartoe willen gaan. Hostel organiseert geen trips of activiteiten. - geen ventilatie in de female dorm, waardoor er veel schimmel in de kamer is - kleine dorm - koelkast is smerig - kunt niet makkelijk wisselen met Pietermaai hostel

Overall the hostel was okay, but the location was a bit out of the way. You’ll 100% need to get a rental car (although the hostel does have rental vehicles that could be available). The facilities were pretty underwhelming but overall the staff was nice enough
De vrouwelijke dorm zat helemaal vol schimmel. Gelukkig ging iemand klagen dat het echt niet kon en na lang om een oplossing te vragen werd iedereen in de dorm verplaatst. De dag voor vertrek ben ik nog ruime tijd op het hostel geweest, na het eten om 23.00 terug gekomen en waren we buitengesloten. De chagrijn bij de receptie vertelde dat we weer terug moesten verhuizen. Dat gaan we mooi niet doen voor 1 nacht in een leeg hostel
The women's dorm was completely filled with mold. luckily someone complained that it really couldn't and to ask for a solution everyone in the dorm was moved. the day before I left I had been at the hostel for a long time, after dinner I came back at 11pm and we were locked out. the chagrin at the reception told us that we had to move again. that we are not going to do for 1 night in an empty hostel

Beautiful hostel, clean, lot's of chill spots to sit and chill. Staff is kind and helpfull. Would recomment!
Love this hostel! The staff weren’t so friendly but the food was decent and the dorms were nice. Overall one of my favorite hostels
Excellent!! personnel est vraiment super. Tout est très très Propre la cuisine est ok l'endroit est vraiment super une super vibe. Vraiment ce que j'ai besoin j'ai réservé 4nuit au départ puis j'ai décidé de passer tout mon séjour ici. Je suis très contente . J'ai booké des activités avec la réception c'est vraiment Top. Le restaurant est très accessible pas très cher et très bon rapport qualité prix. La piscine est topissime . J'adore je reviendrai avec ma famille. Un grand merc...
Excellent!! staff is really great. Everything is very very clean the kitchen is ok the place is really super a super vibe. Really what I need I booked 4nights in the beginning and then I decided to spend my whole stay here. I am very happy . I booked activities with the reception it is really top. The restaurant is very accessible not very cheap and very good price-quality ratio. The pool is topissime . I love I will return with my family. A great one that is top thank you
The dorms were very well thought out, no complaints ab the room & the hostel itself was amazing. Everything designated with storage, locker, towel hook, shelf. Bikes being provided was a + and lots of stuff to see in the area. Biking was fine but walking from the hostel even in daylight the catcalling was awful.
Great place to stay. Restaurant onsite, car rental service, pool area is nice, facilities are clean, and billiards table is well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is walking distance to Jan Thiel area.

Schöne Anlage, ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Meer entfernt. Die einzelnen Häuser waren gut miteinander vernetzt und die Küche mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet. Das Restaurant hat eine kleine Karte und bis um 22 Uhr geöffnet, der Laden bis 21 Uhr für kleine Einkäufe. Der einzige negative Punkt sind die Fahrräder, welche leider sehr alt sind und man nicht wirklich einstellen kann, sodass Fahrten von mehr als 10km leicht unangenehm werden.
Nice area, about 10 minutes walk from the sea. the individual houses were well connected and the kitchen equipped with the most necessary. the restaurant has a small menu and is open until 10 pm, the shop until 9 pm for small shopping. the only negative point are the bicycles, which are very high and you can not really adjust, so rides of more than 10 km easily become unpleasant.
Overall pretty good experience. The only downsides were the fact that the kitchen was littered with roaches at night and was out of cooking gas for 2+ days, and the fact the big compartments to store the backpacks were not lockable, leaving a lot of our stuff vulnerable

Beautiful place. Definitely need to rent a car or find someone that has. Pretty quiet in and around the hostel itself.
