Really bad experience. The beds smell and the sheets clearly aren’t changed between guests — they were dirty and stained. The bed feels unhygienic overall. Also, you can’t even charge your phone unless you have a USB-A cable — no regular outlets or USB-C ports available. Would not recommend.

Iba a pasar unos días de vacaciones. Llegué y la persona que atendía ni siquiera me miró a los ojos cuando le pregunté por los servicios. No tenía calefacción en la habitación, hacía muchísimo frío... lo único que pudieron ofrecerme con la peor de las ondas fue una frazada. No había agua caliente para bañarme. Me fui porque no cumplían con los servicios, horrible atención.

I stayed for a weekend, the place was dirty, the staff didnt help, and they lost my jacket in the laundry, ive contacted then and they havent tried to help, saying it was my fault for not noticing it was missing when they delivered the laundry at 10pm the day before my 6am flight. I texted as soon as i landed and they say too much time had gone through. Wouldnt recomend it

Simply the dirtiest, disgusting and decadent hostel I have ever been to. The facilities are cleaned daily but somehow the common areas are utterly disgusting, from the kitchen to the bathrooms, simply unbelievable. The pool is cool but not many people hanging out when I was there. On the other hand the staff is super nice and friendly.

The building is beautiful, but there are no windows in the rooms. Therefore it was very hot and it smelled a lot. The location is very close to the city centre, but in a dangerous area. Don't go out on your own after dark.

hostel is OK, unfortunately had valuables stolen from within the hostel. Don't leave items unattended at any point in the hostel

Am absolutely honking old battered gaff that stinks and looks nothing like the pictures - would avoid.

The worst hostel I have ever wasted $25 on! Stray animals roaming the kitchen jumping all over counters where food is prepared and eating people's food off the shelves. Doors in rooms that can't be closed without locking someone out. WiFi that barely works throughout the hostel. Busted and non working table tennis. Non working Jacuzzi. Cold water showers. False advertised amenities yet none of them working. Staff who don't know, dont give a toss, and couldn't care less.

If you can help it, don't stay here. It's impossible to get a good night's sleep. There aren't any fans in the rooms, so it's unbelievably hot. Good luck sleeping with the constant stream of people walking through the hallway from the pool bar. All night long, drunk people (including some of the hostel workers themselves?!) talked loudly in the hallway outside the dorms (until ~5am). I also almost broke my ankle in a hole in the floor that they covered with linoleum, instead of fixing. terrible.

Allez y les yeux fermés ! Très propre, les chambres sont grandes avec des casiers. Espaces de vie communs avec billard, piscine, salon avec télé... activités organisées pratiquement tous les soirs, cela permet de vraiment sociabiliser facilement. Un coup de cœur

I stayed in the women's dorm, and did not like that the bunk beds did not have guard rails on the top bunks. As well, there were no power outlets in the room at all. There were USB plugs next to each bunk, but I had to leave my laptop and other devices in the hallway to charge them, and was not happy about that.

Garden & pool is amazing! Bathrooms also really good Dorm of 6 was okay - pro was plugs on every bed :)

Cada vez que visito Santiago de Chile voy a La Casa Roja. Podría decir que ya soy huésped vitalicio ya que conozco el mismo desde que un australiano compró la casona y la remodeló. Si bien había algunas cosas por mejorar, en mis últimas estancias he visto avances: mejoró la limpieza e hicieron arreglos y agregaron cosas mínimas pero indispensables como jabón líquido. Really nice hostels, fairly social and good location. Beautiful property and nice backyard with a pool! Really nice staff

I only stayed for one night so I can't tell much about the hostel. The staff was friendly, the outside area looked nice.

Das Hostel ist entspannt & ruhig. Die Bäder sind sehr sauber. Es werden verschiedene Veranstaltungen im Hostel angeboten. Was wir nicht so gut fanden ist die Steckdosen Situation. Am Bett gibt es nur USB A Steckdosen. Diese laden nicht sehr schnell. Außerdem haben unsere Kabel Typ C. In den Gemeinschaftsräumen gibt es normale Steckdosen. Wenn man die Tür zum Schlafzimmer zu macht, kommt man von außen nur noch mit Schlüssel rein. Diesen haben nur die Mitarbeiter. Das sollte besser geregelt ...

The hostel is nice and clean but the area that is located may be it is not the nicest to walk. But you can walk to the metro in just a few minutes and the way to there is quite okay to walk

Bon hostel, agréable et bien placé. La piscine et les espaces communs sont agréables. Cependant la porte de la chambre ne ferme pas bien a clés et les lieux ne sont pas du tout insonorisés. Il y avait une équipe de 60 Rugbyman pendant notre séjour qui ont été extrêmement bruyant jusqu'à 4 heures du matin toutes les nuits et dès 7 heures le matin. Bon endroit pour faire la fête, moins bien pour se reposer.

Nice hostel! I only stayed one night so I can't say much but it was good. Massive building and tons of people so very social atmosphere (loud late into the night). Nice beds and bathrooms and a huge kitchen. It was a bit far from the center but close to the metro.

Probably the best place to stay in Santiago but the pool is a little cloudy

Old building turned into a hostel. Plenty of space but also felt empty. The pool area is very nice and is the main space to hangout. The rooms don't have fans which felt very hot at night and with windows open you can hear traffic throughout the night. The kitchen also felt very bare bones but is very big which was nice if multiple people want to cook.

O Hostel é incrível! É perto do metrô, de supermercados e restaurantes. Além disso, tem uma cozinha enorme e bem equipada, lavanderia, um bar e uma piscina incrível! A atmosfera do hostel é maravilhosa. Um ótimo lugar para relaxar e conhecer pessoas de várias partes do mundo. O pessoal da recepção é bem simpático e solícito. Fiquei hospedado lá duas vezes e ficaria novamente. Eu super recomendo! Um abraço especial ao Samuel, ao Paulo e à Alejandra!

It’s an old colonial style mansion converted into a hostel, based in barrio Brasil. Wi-Fi works great and the kitchen is nice and big, also the pool area is really nice especially when it’s hot. They also do events on certain nights like wine and pasta night! Had a lot of fun here and would stay here again

I asked many times to get more bottles of soap in the bathrooms and they never did. There's four bathrooms outside that have never had soap. There's one bathroom that has one bottle of soap for three sinks and many people steal the bottle to take a shower. Hire more maintenance people. There's so much maintenance that needs to be done on the building. At least put a fan in the room. It gets so hot.

l'hostel est immense et il a beaucoup de charme, les douches et wc laissent un peu à désirer mais le lieu est vraiment très sympathique , à découvrir

It was OK. Got the job done & you get what you pay for kinda thing. The layout inside reminded me of a boarding school. It was Chile level cleanliness. Not same cleanliness standard as other countries in the world I have been to. The doors don’t have locks and also they keep them slightly open because if you fully shut them they will lock so you have a sense that you are sleeping in the hallway and that anyone could come in. Pool water was foggy so I didn’t go in.

Nice big bedrooms, kept cool with Ac. Kitchen was good & had everything you need. Location was okay, not that lovely but safe area

Vol de nourriture dans les frigos !!! Je l’avais vu dans les anciens commentaires et c’est vrai attention Emplacement correct Salle de bain plutôt propre et fonctionnelle Piscine très cool
