Pension Bicuar

I spotted one halfway through my stay. I freaked out initially thinking it was a bed bug and left the hotel, it wasn't but carpet beetles can cause a rash if you're allergic that can look like bug bites, they eat your clothes and furnishings and cause holes. The beetles and their larvae can also end up travelling back home with you on your clothes/suitcase. And once they're there, they're really hard to get rid of. When I informed the hotel of the issue and asked for a full refund I was accused of trying to cash in on the situation so I ended up out of pocket finding somewhere else to stay. Funnily enough, all I wanted was a relaxing vacation, not to stay somewhere that would add to my worries - the only way to make sure you don't bring them back with you is to wash everything on 60 degrees followed by tumble drying on high heat. So now I have to risk damaging/ruining all my clothes just because I stayed here. Added to that, I was left without a fan for 2 days because no one bothered to tell me the ceiling fan only works if you have the main light on (I had been trying to switch it on with the lamp on). The sink is also ridiculously small, there's no room for even a toothbrush. And the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything. I was given a room next to the shared bathrooms and I could hear someone blowing their nose. Avoid like the (insect) plague (you risk taking home with you).

The bedding and pillows are old, I'm sure they wash the covers on them, but prob need to change blankets and pillows on the whole bc we got bitten by some bed mites (not bed bugs).

1. Der Check-in mit längerer Wartezeit. Ausserdem bat ich um ein anderes Zimmer, nicht das (Nr.15) neben Toiletten und Rezeption. Aber es gab keine Bereitschaft, mir entgegen zu kommen. 2. In dem Zimmer waren Bettwanzen. Nach der ersten Nacht bemerkte ich tagsüber ein Jucken und in der zweiten Nacht wurde es ganz schlimm. Ich wurde übel zerbissen an Händen, Schultern, sogar im Gesicht und konnte in dieser Nacht überhaupt nicht schlafen. Ich habe die Unterkunft abgeschrieben, dass ich zumindest eine Nacht erstattet haben will.
