On the first night of our stay at the hostel, our private room was burgled and hundreds of pounds worth of belongings were taken. When we alerted the hostel security, they told us that this was very uncommon, however, the police officer we spoke to told us that burglaries were very common there.    Ich kann kaum beschreiben wie ekelig diese Unterkunft ist. Ein Beispiel: Es befanden sich komische dunkelroten Flecken auf meinem Bettlaken und an der Wand im Bad. Zudem grenzt das Frühstück an Körperverletzung: In zwei von zwei Brötchen, hatte ich ein 2-3x großen Plastiksplitter.

   For a little budged you can easily leave your stuff in a dorm right next to the beautifully ugly Reeperbahn, hang out a night in Bars, come back, find parts of your stuff stolen and leave Hamburg right away again.

   I do not recommend staying in this hostel. During my stay someone stole things from my room while I was not there. Better choose another place.

   Someone stole money from my room, both mine and my roommates. Also a bunch of jewelry from my suitcase, and my roommates airpods. The thief was probably from the hotel staff, as the room could only be accessed with a card. Completely unacceptable. Also the rooms are dirty, one of the sinks was broken and on our first day we were greeted by a pair of underwear on the windowsill when we opened the curtains. Horrendous.

   If you’re a young female traveler looking for a cheap hostel, this is not the place for you. The street this is located on is the red light district area of Hamburg. It is directly left of the worlds largest brothel, The Pink Palace. I came with my husband and because of the lack of safety we felt during the day, he and I were not comfortable walking back to the hostel at night. We returned to the hostel before dark

   Absolutely not worth the money per night, the rooms were very dirty, the door of my room had a slight curve so the light from the corridor was sleeping through the whole night. There were power sockets totally exposed with no cover on. We had booked three nights and left after one. We spent the whole night worried we were going to be broken into after recent reviews we’ve read about people’s rooms being broken into a

   Booked without knowing it was in the Red Light District, I'm a young female who was traveling alone and didn't feel very safe. Most of the things in my room were broken including one of the windows and the bathroom doors. Would not recommend visiting Hamburg in general but if you do spend more money on a decent hostel/hotel. I was also robbed while I was sleeping, luckily just my cash.

   Location feels very unsafe with lots of drug addicts and homeless people around. Reception area was super dirty as if it wasn’t cleaned for weeks. Receptionist was rude and unhelpful (wanted to charge me for a voucher booking and only when I persisted, she called customer support which confirmed that I should not pay anything).     Don't recommend !! My room had mold in it ( picture attached ). My shower curtain was completely covered in mold ( picture attached ). They offered me a drink for my troubles!!! The location is next to the red light district. Outside there are a bunch of shady people and homesless and drugs addicts. Quite loud all night aswell .

    It's probably the most terrible hotel I've ever been to in my entire life. The hotel is on "Red Light Street", and music is playing 24/7. Police sirens can be heard constantly. The room itself seemed good to me (until I entered it). Whole room had strong smell of chlorine mixed with damp and mold.     I will try to be objective as i can, its located in the red light zone, Drugs and sex area, not recommended for families. Rooms and showers are abit dirty, environment is roudy, party and abit dirty. Service and breakfast was okay. If you are looking for a cheap stay alone and have no problem with red light districts.     Starting with the location, you might see that the hostel is in the center, close to S-bahn, but there is very noisy and dirty surroundings (full of alcoholics, homeless people and drug addicts). The area is completely different from the rest of the Hamburg. We had a separate room, not a hostel room but it was still dirty (especially toilet), with poor air conditioning and broken toilet door.     The street has heroin addicts at day, red light tourists at night. So go if you want to visit the red lights, don't go for anything else. Reception is pretty fine, people are nice. Our room door was almost giving up and the bathroom had no lock. Slept on a rock. Its cheap allright... but still horrible. Its good for a laugh tho.
