+ The cabins were surrounded by nature.
- We stayed here for three nights at the bottom of a two storey wooden cabin. The neighbours upstairs were extremely loud, dragging furniture around at midnight, lots of noise from the upstairs, we couldn't sleep at all. Also, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. And the access to the property is very challenging at night, a dirt road without lights.
2x geen stroom, dus geen wifi of ventilator. Het houten hutje waar wij in sliepen was schattig, maar we konden alles heel luid horen van de mensen boven ons, dat was schrikken ‘s nachts als er iets viel of ze de wc doortrokken, voetstappen leken in onze kamer. Door het ontbreken van ramen hoorden we bovendien het personeel vanaf 6 uur erg luid praten. Ontbijt was pas vanaf 8h beschikbaar en na 16h kon je er geen eten meer krijgen. Voor deze prijs zijn er op het eiland veel betere accomodaties.
+ Le personnel est vraiment gentil et disponible. L'hostel propose des tours qui sont très bien, avec des supers guides.
- Le dortoir est vraiment petit et il n'y a pas beaucoup de place pour les sacs. Pour le même prix, j'ai été dans des hostel avec des dortoirs bien plus spacieux et avec des ventilateurs personnels par lit ainsi que des rideaux par lits et petit déjeuner compris. La cuisine est minuscule et vraiment pas adaptée pour un hostel. Il n'y a qu'un petit frigo et 3 plaques de cuisson. On se marche dessus dès qu'on veut cuisiner la moindre chose. Idem les zones de repos sont assez petites. La wifi marche mal et est très faible.

- Eau froide uniquement Lit petit Pas de climatisation et il fait vraiment chaud et humide Moustique et insectes partout, moustiquaire peu efficace
- La chambre doit être rafraîchie, on sent bien le passage de milliers de backpackers depuis des années.
- In the dormitory was a girl sleeping in the bed below me. She was angry each time I was moving at night. That was really annoying and the reason why I didn't like the hotel.
+ - Free drinking water refills (but was empty once in the evening when I went to refill) - Soap provided - Very nice grounds - Seating available - Good Wi-Fi - Kitchen okay - Games available
- - NOT enough large lockers (I have to deduct 3 points for this) - No towels - No shower gel/shampoo available - The upper beds have NO curtains - The lower beds only have a curtain on one side (and it is not long enough) - I didn't find the staff/owner to be very friendly - In the evening, the drinking water was completely empty in some cases :/

Great hostel facilities, staff very helpful in organising scooter rental and taxis at good prices. However beware of the bugs, they were everywhere. And there is also a cockerel that makes noise from 4am so make sure to bring earplugs.

One of the favorite hostels I've been to. People are amazing and it's very nice and affordable
cute hostel, wish I had stayed here longer instead of Raindance. the garden is super cute and gives the whole place a very chill atmosphere. staff was lovely and food looked yummy too
Decent hostel, really nice to spend time in the common areas with hammocks and sofas. Staff were lovely, breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced. Some nice restaurants nearby but ultimately would recommend getting your own vehicle to get to the other stuff on Ometepe

Very nice place. We had a private room. Comfortable, clean and cozy. The smoothies and the banana bread are super delicious.
+ Nice garden and yoga deck. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced.
- The shared kitchen needs an update and is almost not usable. The design of the room was pretty basic, selfmade and unconventional. However very good value for money!

Really beautiful hostel. Not a “social” hostel but we did meet people there. You are able to rent scooters directly at the hostel which is ideal. Would return to hostel!

+ You enter a wonderful jungle and floral setting in which multiple houses / rooms are scattered around in the area. This gives such a beautiful atmosphere. The flowers are amazing and you can see hummingbirds during breakfast. The host was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was good, we especially enjoyed the smoothies.
- Obviously it’s in the jungle and therefore it is hot and humid. There is no airconditioning and the beds are small - this from the perspective of two tall women (1.80). But for the location (island, in the jungle etc) it’s a well equipped and beautiful place to stay.
Heel mooi & rustgevend hostel! Er is een kleine keuken maar bestellen daar is ook echt heerlijk!

What an amazing place!!! A green pearl in Balgüe, perfect location on the middle of the island, friendly staff, clean, comfortable beds, kitchen, breakfast available (not included)….i wanted to stay longer, but it was already fully booked… Don’t wait and book this hostel 👌🤩🙏💫
Very relaxed / not super social hostel but rooms were lovely, nicest we had in Nicaragua! Staff were really helpful with booking ATV / excursions and breakfast was lovely
La Urraca Loca war eins meiner Lieblingshostals. Es liegt einfach wunderschön inmitten der Natur! Man kommt zu Fuß zu verschiedenen Spots (Comedores, Finca Magdalena oder El Pital) und kann aber auch ganz unkompliziert einen Roller bei der Unterkunft ausleihen. Das Personal ist total lieb, die Unterkunft sehr sauber und auf der Dachterrasse kann man sich super entspannen. Das Personal hat uns auch geholfen, die Busfahrzeiten für die Rückfahrt raus zu suchen und wo der Bus abfährt.
+ Really lovely place to chill and a beautiful atmosphere. So many different chill areas and an open kitchen. Filtered water. It was really clean. And some of the best food I got in a Hostel. Friendly contact with the staff before arrival, getting all the information how to get there by local bus. Two very friendly dogs I stayed for 4 nights (switched to one of the bamboo huts after two nights) If you stay here I really loved the little hike up to Finca Magdalena and do the coffee Tour
- Just when staying in one of the bamboo huts: if you have allergies or asthma book one of the other rooms, als due to the material there is a bit more dust/fresh air
+ Everything in this place is amazing!!! We got the first floor of a cabin at the beautiful garden. The hostel offers an excellent variety of breakfast, drinks and lunch at affordable prices. Vegan options also available and delicious. Hot water, shared kitchen, very kind staff and convenient location. They accept cash or card or even revolut and wise. You can rent scooter or atv from their partner, they offered tours and so many other.

+ L’emplacement, le charme de l’auberge, très nature et apaisant. La chambre était spacieuse et agréable !

+ Tolle Gartenanlage und Aussenküche, alles sehr liebevoll gestaltet! Platz zum entspannen sogar mit Hängematten und Ausblick! Super Lage. Bieten auch tolle Touren an. Zimmer war bequem und sauber. Preis leistung absolut top!
