BED BUGS. Everyone I spoke to was bitten (myself included), the facilities are incredibly basic and the AC in our room wasnt working. The showers have a semi-seethrough door so you feel you have no privacy. They also charge you €5 if you want to keep your bags there for a few hours after you check out. Do not book this hostel.

The staff wasn’t that welcoming and the facilities weren’t great, the shower was clogged, despite the bed is great, with a socket and lamp. However, the worst part is the cleanliness! The bathroom seems a bit dirty, but the last straw when we saw several bedbugs in our beds in the middle of the night! I’d avoid that place for sure, especially considering the price. You absolutely find better options.

The room and services were okay, however, I was bitten all over by bed bugs within 1 night at this hostel. There are currently 13 reviews involving bed bugs and pictures of bed bugs, it is a known issue which the owners of this hostel do nothing about.

Not everything that you basically need is available in the room. I got some bed bug bite almost every night during sleeping and it was scratching for next few days very badly.

Bed bug bites after the first night. Found a dead bedbug from my bed after washing clothes. Key system is weird. You have to show a picture of your key to get it back. If someone knows your key and has a picture of it they could get it. It's just weird for me and doesn't seem too secure. You have to pay for everything.

Having to wait in line to get one hot drink and one croissant for breakfast every morning. They were strict on 1 drink and 1 croissant per person. The front desk accidentally gave a couple keys to my single room. It was an honest mistake, but had I not been there, I would have not known and I left valuables in the room. There was no safe deposit box.

Literally and i mean it....everything

This is literally the worst possible stay you can book. You have bed bugs cleaning issues and insects issue (mosquitoes, flies you name it) The guy at the front desk pretended he didn't see the bed bugs although hey literally picked one up with his hands. He then didn't want to help by any means necessary not refunding not checking out. We called booking.com support because we booked through them and he said he can't do a refund because he "couldn't see the bed bugs" after literally grabbing one with his own hands. We left the place at 2 am.....i suggest you book yellowsquare milan instead of this absolute trash of a place. Also forgot to mention, the rooms are literally boilers no AC is on or anything Worst experience ever they ruined our trip

It was infested with bed bugs, and probably will continue go be, cuz i dont think they will change every bed they have... Sll the clothes i had on me are sealed, trying to find out a way to sterilize them without destroying them:(

BED BUGS - DON’T GO. PEOPLE ARE TELLING THE TRUTH.

Very dirty, bedbugs on the beds, very hot because the heaters were broken, so you need to sleep with the window open, when I got to my room after my check in my bed was not been made so I had to doit myself, the bathroom and shower we’re discusting and very messy, smelly rooms, and the worst was the bedbugs, not recommended at all!!!

Stay here if you want to leave covered in bed bug bites. We came for a two night stay and were greeted by an unpleasant and grumpy front desk worker who made it seem like we were a nuisance to him. We were just happy to get to our rooms after a long day of traveling, but the rooms were boiling hot with one measly fan provided by the hostel to cool them down. My group of 4 went to sleep using the sheets provided by the hostel, and all of us woke up covered in bites all over our legs and bodies. We inspected the sheets to find tiny black bugs all over them. We checked out immediately, forgoing our second night there, and have heard nothing from the hostel regarding this issue after reaching out for a refund or an explanation. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

There was bedbugs in my bed, for the amount I paid it should’ve have been bedbug free. Now I hope I didn’t bring to my home. The breakfast was good though

The location is nice and close to different stations. I arrived late to the check in (around 10:30 pm) and they gave me the key and everything, I went to the room and I saw the sheets like used, tbh I decided to shake them and continue (there was nothing there) and surprise! At 2 am someone put a light in my face while I was sleeping and told me it was their bed, very bad service bc they thought I was kinda of lying haha :/ !!!! And when I woke up I saw BEDBUGS in my clothes… very disgusting.

BED BUGS!!! There’s 100% bed bugs here. The hostel itself was dirty and smelled. There were a lot of questionable people hanging around the cafe part which didn’t make me feel safe

BEDBUGS!! ho circa 15 punture per braccio dopo solo due notti qui. Dopo la prima notte ho chiesto di poter cambiare letto ma mi hanno detto che non potevo. Inoltre nella stanza c’erano i termosifoni accessi h24 senza la possibilità di abbassarli o spegnerli. Anche con la finestra aperta il caldo era insopportabile che aggiunti alle punture praticamente mi ha impedito di chiudere occhio.

Firstly, we arrived on time for check-in but the room were not ready. The receptionist could not even tell us how long we had to wait. They at least had the decency to store our luggages for free since they were late in getting the room ready. When we went in, the floor was still dusty and dirty so it is clear that it was not mopped or cleaned properly. The electric fan that was in the room was janky and on the verge of spoiling. The bathroom drain was clogged so every time someone took a shower, the shower floor would flood and it would just be really gross. We were also paranoid about bed bugs throughout the stay. The hallway outside the room is also way too dim.

Bedbugs + staff were very mean :(

First of all, from the first night I was beat by bed bug (punaise de lit/Bettwanze), the guy at the reception just lie to me to not give me an other bed. And I just saw two free bed in the room so I take the chance to change because it's impossible to sleep. For the three night I passed there I didn't sleep well at all. The personnel didn't check the bed as if there was no problem. The cleaning of the bedroom doesn't pass really ofter so it's dirty. The wifi doesn't working well so after grumble they give me an other private wifi. So it was THE WORST HOSTEL I had ever seen.

This place has bed bugs. We had booked a stay before doing adequate research and seeing the Google reviews and decided to check it out and there were definitely signs of bed bugs on both our beds. Ended up informing the front desk, she seemed concerned and returning the keys and staying somewhere else. Highly recommend just avoiding this place if you can.

Bedbugs, no refund, had to leave the room at 4 AM because my room was disgusting and full of bugs of all sort. Never going there again and wouldn’t recommend

BED BUGS STAY AWAY! We told the reception there were bed bugs in our room! We got a new room straight away. They apparantely already knew the bugs where there. The staff wasn’t shocked at all!!! Help yourself stay away!

Room was not wholly clean upon check in, and showed signs of bedbugs in the lockers. Found bedbugs in all beds of my quad room. Waiting to hear from customer service…

The hostel was fine, the only problem was BEDBUGS !

The location is very good. The front desk staff is friendly but the room smells bad and I was bitten by bedbugs for three nights.

Bed bugs I stayed at this hostel for just two days, but unfortunately, on both nights, I encountered bed bugs in my bed. While the location and overall comfort of the place were good, I woke up with numerous bites that are still causing discomfort and itching. This experience not only made it uncomfortable but also raises concerns about the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the hostel, making it an unhealthy choice for accommodation.

Bedbugs in the bed! Terrible experience with bringing them home after a stay. This hostel needs a disinfection!

I was attacked by insect and after inspection I found bedbugs on my bed. I do not exaggerate there were a lot of them. It means that the sanitary and hygienic condition of bed and mattress was terrible. Reception said they don’t have any other room. In the morning came manager and she asked to send them email. It was everything she could do. I send message and didn’t receive any response.

Went with a group 8 for a study abroad experience. While the cleanliness was not ideal it was an experience we deeply enjoyed. 9/10 other people were other people in their 20’s traveling around. We met really great people and some kind of weird. The beds were clean and no bed bugs. breakfast was included and we each had storage lockers to keep all our things safe. i would recommend for a great experience. also pretty close to some really nice restaurants and clubs!!

Bed bugs in the room !! Kitchen not well equiped and dirty. Lack of glasses, only few cutlery, the sauce pans were broken, the stoves where not working well. Lack of things to dry the dishes.

Don't go into this hostel they are infested with BED BUGS! I extra paid a little more for this hostel because I thought it wouldn't have bed bugs like other hostels in Milano according to google and other booking site reviews. When I confronted the reception they first accused my pictures to not be from the hostel (luckily i had a TON of bite marks on my leg and another video to prove otherwise) and then when I asked for a refund they asked me to send the pictures and videos to their email and now after 2 weeks they have not answered me. Very unprofessional and irresponsible of them to still be offering their rooms for guests. They clearly have no intensions of getting rid of the bed bugs.

It’s got a good location but that’s about the only thing going for it. We were charged an extra €20 for late check-in which wasn’t something we were in control of (Italian Rail Delays), we felt extorted for our money. The shower leaked a lot and the room was cleaned maybe once in three days; not good for a hostel that is that busy. The common area is alright but most people kept to themselves. Only good thing is we didn’t have bed-bugs…

Hostel is infested with BED BUGS. The hostel reception asked to send the pictures and videos to their email address and now after almost 2 weeks they have completely ghosted us no answer and no refunds were given.

I cannot get rid of the bedbugs I collected at this place! I reported the suspect of having them on my bed but they didn’t take me serious, now I see. The receptionist told me it’s almost impossible the room is freshly renovated. Guys, check your bed before you lay on it.

La camera era infestata da cimici del materasso chiaramente visibili in tutte le postazioni letto. In tutto il corpo ho circa 30 punture molto grandi e pruriginose. Mi è stata cambiata la stanza alle 2.00 di notte dopo che inizialmente non era stato potuto trasferirmi in altra stanza per impossibilità di trovare un posto letto. The room and the mattresses were full of bed bugs. The staff changed my room at 2 am after they found an available bed in another room.

Infested with bed bugs. Don’t bother staying. Forced to throw away my travel bag due to being unable to wash it and dry clean all of my clothes to rid them of the bugs. Was told to email the hostel to get a refund, no response. Stay somewhere else

I had all my body completely biten by bed bugs. It was so bad that I had to go to the doctor and the pharmacy to get a cream and pills because of allergic reaction. A complete disaster!

choosing this youth hostel when I came to Milan for the first time. After reading Google reviews, many people complained about bed bugs and it being too hot in multi-person rooms. I did not encounter bed bugs this time. Upon arrival, I checked the mattress and then wrapped the two white sheets provided by the hotel on it again. I brought my own blanket, and I stored it in a private cabinet using a plastic bag provided by the hotel. Overall, the public facilities are average and clean." Advantages: * It is better to stay in winter because the rooms are warm enough and there are fewer people. * Private lockers are provided with sockets. * Soap is provided. * Two white sheets and a blanket are provided. * The floors are relatively clean. * Check-in is convenient and fast. Disadvantages: * There is relatively no privacy, and everyone has different living habits. This time, I encountered many people talking in low voices and laughing in the room at one or two o'clock in the morning. Many people kept sending out text messages and alarms at night. * Some plugs in the private lockers cannot be used. * No hangers are provided to hang clothes. * The blanket was dirty and had not been cleaned. It had hair and dander on it, so I do not recommend using it to avoid itching on the body. * There are no hooks to hang clothes in the bathroom. * The water channel of the showerhead is too small, and there is not enough hot water. * The sound insulation of the room windows is poor, and outside noise is very loud. * The bathroom lights make a lot of noise when turned on, and the ventilation system is too loud.

BED BUGS. I stayed for 3 nights and on the second night I found bed bugs 😡 on my sheets and had to switch the sheets.

I think that for the amount of money spent it was ok. It was clean, the room and the bathroom (room of 6). The room was OK and also the bedsheets. That said, the presence of bedbugs is evident. I woke up both days with bites on my body and my white bedsheets had the typical blood stains. The structure should undergo a serious disinfestation process. Keep your bags in the locker if you don't want to bring them home with you. A special thank to the girl at the reception. She was very nice!

Awful, bed bugs!!!!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE. The beds are infested with bed bugs, you can lift up a mattress and see them instantly. The shower was also disgusting and the staff were rude. When I brought up the bed bugs to the girl at reception she completely ignored me and refused to reply, instead of having a conversation or trying to help. Nothing about staying here was enjoyable in any way and we ended up leaving early and going to a hotel down the road, but I still got numerous bug bites and no compensation or refund. We have taken it up with the hostel but have received no response.

Avoid! My worst hostel experience ever.There were bed bugs in my bed that bite me all night,unfortunately I thought it was moschitos that bite me so I slept on the dorm again,long story short I end up in the hospital 3 days later getting cortisol injections.
